The services gateway offers stable, reliable, and efficient IP routing in addition to switching support and LAN connectivity. The device provides Internet Protocol Security (IPsec), virtual private network (VPN), and firewall services for small-sized and medium-sized companies and enterprise branch and remote offices. The SRX100 Services Gateway can be connected directly to a traditional private networks such as leased lines, frame relay, or Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks or to the public Internet.

Rated 5 out of 5 bylctex from Wasn' broke but they tried to fix it. Fail!New Gui is worse than other vendors products very, very slow. CLI has way to much white space or black space. Very difficult to read in most terminals with out making them full screen. Nether is as intuitive as the old OS.

Rated 5 out of 5 bymikea from JunOS is greatTo me JunOS SRX cli is much better organized and intuitive than any of the Cisco firewall products. I'm using ver.12.1X44-D35.5 which is a bit old but totally reliable, and the GUI is much much better than two years ago. I don't use the GUI because the command-line interface is so readable. Being a Unix/Linux person, it doesn't make sense to me why anyone would use a GUI interface for configuring and editing.
