Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by I've had my device for a little over a week now. With it being my first device from Jabra, I have no history to add to this. The headset itself is comfortable. I can wear it all day without any problems on my head or ears. The metal band did bother me at first, but I adjusted where it lay and have been fine with it since. The mic swivels 360 degrees, so it can be on either side of the head.I don't use the headset much for calling at all, as I have a desk phone, but I was able to try it out on a webex demo as well as on Teamspeak over the weekend. The mic is more sensitive than I anticipated and had to be careful with background noises, but those on the other end heard me clearly. The audio quality is as good as any other headphones I've used. I listened to some music and podcasts with it, and the sound was crystal clear. The cable is plenty long and could easily reach a desktop on the floor of a desk. Since I use a laptop, I just coiled the cord around and stuck the slack behind. The control "hub" is appreciated. It allows me to have a few quick commands at the touch of a button, as well as a volume control. One thing I'd love to see is this expanded. While two of the buttons can be programmed, it's limited to only two options. I'd enjoy being able to have more options, such as media play/pause, or maybe even allow for custom commands. The software center for the device is easy to use. It's not feature rich, but there isn't a lot to tweak with the headset anyway. It offers a password lock for mass deployments, so users can't "break" anything. Being a single user, I didn't bother with this. This software center does offer audio protection for those who would use this all day for calls. I didn't notice anything different myself when trying the different settings, but then, I didn't use it much for calls.Overall, I love this device! It's lightweight, great sound quality and a nice controller "hub" on the cord. The mic is a bit more sensitive than I liked, the "hub" doesn't offer much in the way of controls, and the audio feedback of adjusting the volume could get annoying to some. I'd love to try a wireless version some day, as I prefer the freedom of movement that offers over corded for headsets. I would recommend this for anyone that needs a lightweight headset.Disclaimer: This headset was provided to me in exchange for a review and in no way was there any pressure to provide a favorable review of this device. The review presented here is of my honest feedback of trying the device out. February 17, 2015
