A broad range of data collection and communication features form the foundation for the Intermec CK3 mobile computer, enabling it to adapt to a variety of in-premise applications. The CK3 supports businesses in their pursuit to improve their operational performance metrics, simplify IT support and control operating costs.

The CK3 packs a breadth of capabilities into a slim case, allowing users to easily and comfortably adapt to ever-changing data capture and communications needs, both today and in the future.

With image capture, revolutionary imager-based scanning, optional RFID reader, speech and voice - all supported by 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth radio communication - enterprises can avoid the expense and complexity of deploying a series of single-purpose devices to meet a variety of data collection and communication needs.

The CK3 embeds Intermec's latest generation of imaging technology for outstanding scanning productivity and compliance to the most recent industry standards. Intermec imaging technology delivers fast 1D and 2D barcodes scanning, unmatched performance on poor quality and damaged barcodes, and unmatched flexibility in scanning range.

For seamless migration from prior Intermec computers and proven, out-of-the-box integration with many warehouse and retail systems, the CK3 is available with Intermec Terminal Emulator (ITE) and Intermec Browser (IB) software. Designed and tested to optimize CK3 performance in emulation environments, ITE connects the CK3 to host applications using terminal emulation and features support for multiple host sessions, security, session persistence and a complete set of data collection options. Using IB, a data collection browser, web applications can leverage advanced CK3 imaging and RFID features while ensuring that user access is limited to pre-approved websites.

For fast and easy device deployment and maintenance, the CK3 also supports Intermec's SmartSystems. Connect computers to the network, configure settings, and install software remotely to lower IT effort and reduce total cost of ownership. The CK3 meets rugged, standards-based environmental specifications for the rigors of warehouse use, but in a slim, well-balanced form factor appropriate for an in-store setting. The CK3 has uniquely combined an 89mm (3.5 in) QVGA display with a keyboard design comfortable enough for single-handed use.

Product Reviews
Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good sturdy devices. I have seen them used very harshly and they keep going. The only problem that I have with them is that they seem to lose the screen calibration very quickly which can be dangerous at times. Overall good devices though. September 15, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fairly solid scan guns. They work pretty well for connecting to our WMS system via internal web site, and we've only had one need repair in the last 18 months. Support from Intermec is not quite what I'd like. (See below for details.)Opened a ticket online for the Bronze repair service we had due to a damaged screen, waited for info on shipping the scanner, and finally had to call them to get an address for where to send the scanner and what to send with it. (Note: Removed all detachable items including battery prior to shipping. Received the original repaired scanner back - not a different one.) When setting the repaired scanner back up, had to connect to a file server to get some setup files installed. Internet Explorer in Windows mobile 6.1 kept wanting to search Bing for the file server's name (no option visible in browser settings to turn off searching from the address bar.) Intermec support was not helpful - after a week of daily email inquiries from them ("Can you ping the scanner and vice versa?", "What's your firmware version?", "Is it supposed to be able to reach the internet or just your intranet?") I managed to use a Bluetooth connection to push the files to the scanner. In future I will plan to call Intermec rather than use their web portal, and I hope to not need them any time soon. Rated 4 out of 5 by we moved to the CK3 from combination of ck31s and Symbol MC9090s.they have worked well. ]only caveats are:seem to be more easily damaged than the ck31does not seem to work as well in lower light situations as the ck31 did. January 31, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by If you must use RDP on a mobile device in which the application's resolution is locked/non-resolution aware, then the Intermec CK3 with WM 6.5 works about as well as I can find. Too much hardware and cost for a mobile dumb terminal, I wish someone would make a lighter, cheaper... single use mobile RDP/Terminal emulator only deveice. May 23, 2012
