Product Reviews
Rated 4 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by I like the OVPA plugins for the various OS levels but there were some deployment issues on certain OS levels. Valuable Features:The OVPA plugins for the various OS levels.Improvements to My Organization:I'm not using it now, but when I was, it was the capability of auto fixing issues that could be customized per device, OS, or application. That seemed to make people the most excited.Room for Improvement:It can be cumbersome to get up and running. And it's very expensive.Use of Solution:I used it for, probably, a total of 12 years.Deployment Issues:Just some compatibilities with certain OS levels that I remember.Stability Issues:No issues, it was very stable.Scalability Issues:No issues, in fact that's one of the features that I like about the tool.Customer Service:Great.Technical Support:It used to be great, but now it's off shore and is much more difficult.Previous Solutions:No, but I've used Nagios after the fact at other places because it's cheaper, but it has much less flexible.Initial Setup:It wasn't complex, but, the DB behind it was the toughest part.Implementation Team:I implemented at the last place, alongside Pepperweed at Intrado. They were excellent.Other Solutions Considered:No other options were looked at.Other Advice:Be patient, and take things step by step to get it going. Once that takes place, it's pretty self-sufficient.Disclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions. March 31, 2015
