The HP MSR 1-port OC-3c / STM-1c POS HMIM Module, supports Packet over SONET/SDH, interface rates up to 155.52 Mbps (STM-1/OC-3). The HMIM-1POS can use the protocols such as PPP, Frame Relay, and HDLC at the data link layer and IP at the network layer. It allows direct transmission of packets over SONET/SDH.
