Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Printer for medium sized (number of pieces) printing This printer is great for medium sized printing printing jobs. It is a workhorse, we have around 400-500 pieces go thru it a day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A couple steps backwards. I've bought 50+ HP Enterprise Printers and this is the worst one by far. It's made from extremely flimsy plastic. The bypass tray won't stay flat because of how thin it is, along with it won't close unless you push down on a little bracket. The trays have no handles, and again are made from the same thin cheap plastic. I would highly recommend going back to the 604 model if it is an option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Value purchase I have always bought HP printers. This is the fifth one I have purchased and they always give me good service. I use them in my tax practice and run about 600 pages a day for about 10 weeks. Well above the max per month for sure. I believe that the model M607 I purchased will handle the load for the next 3 to 4 years without any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Upgrade After 19 years it was time to upgrade my old 4000 series HP printer. This was the only machine that would suit my needs. It arrived quickly from HP. It is fast, quiet and overall an excellent printer! My only issue is that it is quite a bit larger then my old trust 4000. Thanks HP!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Unlike my HP 4000 I cannot get the drawer #1 to print automatically. Everything is manual. Can you give some directions how the change this problem?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from kind of cheaply made the plastic parts are fragile. This printer is not as well made as my model 4520 and I seriously doubt it will last half as long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased overall I am happy with the performance so far. The manual paper feed seems very flimsy compared to our previous HP and doesn't hold as much paper and envelopes. There is also a small screen that sits above the machine that I am afraid will get broken. I am happy with the print quality and speed. Hopefully it holds up in the long term.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive repair required after 14 months Purchased 14 months ago, did not install right away - logic board died after 14 months, did not have extended warrantee and was out of luck. HP does not stand behind their products!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Software problems Do not buy this printer. There is a software problem that you will need to call tech support to fix. HP knows about the problem, but will not fix it. It did not work on our network either, so it was returned. I cannot believe HP is selling printers like this......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good laser printer We added a new computer to our office, so we added a M607 also. It works well and was easy to set up just like our older models of the same type.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not good! We've been using HP printers the past 30 years at the shop and this model M607n has been the crappiest one we've ever had. The design is flimsy. The control panel user interface is so complicated, hard to understand, hard to use. You probably need to take a course in order to use it. Why can HP just keep it simple for non-tech people know how to maneuver it? The paper tray - you have to use both hands to open the tray. We use it for 3 months, it starts picking up more than 1 piece at a time which causes jamming. When the paper is out, I have to restart the computer for it to read the printer again or else the computer keeps thinking Out of Paper even though it's been loaded. When you accidentally print a wrong batch, it's not easy to cancel current job on the printer so it stops wasting paper. You either hit the power button or pull the paper tray. Those are the few issues we have with this model. The older HP printers we had were great and easy to use, reliable, durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null So far I enjoy the product. It was a little tricky getting the preferences set up the way I like them but once that was done its been smooth sailing. Fast and quiet printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed We have 20 HP M605, and bought this for an expansion project. The new printer has Windows CE embeded for the display, it is slow and complicated. The menu system is terrible with way too many extra clicks to complete a configuration. The printer is fast and supports font cartridges, but at the cost of a confusing interface for the users and way bad menu system

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has great features and prints spotless This printer is getting the job done! Love how quiet it is and how efficient it is It was easy to read the instructions and get it hooked up very quickly. Love, love, love how long the cartridge of toner will last I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Workhorse printer We have five of these m600 series printers in our store printing invoices. They always perform flawlessly. It would be nice if we didn't need a different toner for each printer though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Installation Challenges, But A Good Product Overall Whether connecting to an individual workstation or to a network, be mindful of the factory settings. There is no mention of such settings in the installation guides, and many of the connectivity items are turned off. Be aware of this as you install. Once installation was successful, it has been speedy and reliable. It flows nicely. It is a bit more bulky than I think that it needs to be, and, as always, toner costs should be factored into total cost of operation. Overall, if you are looking for a workhorse, high volume, non color printer, this is a solid choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over priced for what it's designed to do Expensive toner, unable to utilize bigger hp toner cartridges, there's a plastic block inserted into where you load the toner, if you remove the block then the printer reads the toner and refuses to use it if you load the 37x or 37y toner. Printer has no duplex option and seemingly no accessory for it., no handles on the paper tray. Bypass tray feels like it won't hold up to extended use. HP recommends you use the bypass tray exclusively for anything heavier than plain paper. Paper tray seems more prone to jamming underneath the toner and in the paper feed (I pulled a stack of 10 sheets out of there, (why didn't it jam on the 9 previous sheets?). If you don't clear the paper every time you pull the paper tray out you can cause a jam by loading paper because paper gets stuck where it feeds from the back of the paper tray.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We couldn't be happier! This printer puts our old laserjet to shame! It is fast AND quiet. We no longer have to shout to hear one another when it's running, LOL. No smears, clean, clear documents, not one jam since we got it. 100% recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enterprise printer without the features It's sad that this is labeled an "Enterprise" printer, but does not have a duplexer, and it will not accept high capacity toner. No reason why it can't, except for the extra lid plastic that prevents you from closing the toner lid if you insert a large toner. Marketing, not engineering drives this model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would not recommend-quality control issues I had high hopes for this printer because it has an accessory envelope feeder, which is a necessity in my office. But the printer uses a touchpad LCD display for initial set-up and to change settings. The touchpad on the printer was defective and would not respond to touch. After spending 30 minutes with HP support, they suggested that I sent it back for a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement printer also had a defective touch screen and had to be sent back. There appears to be some quality control issues with this printer. I would wait to purchase until HP has resolved these hardware issues. I will say that the HP support staff that worked with me were apologetic and tried to be helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The bad rating is because of HP Sales, etc., Called and ordered but did not get what I thought and was led to believe I was getting. No manual or anything telling you how to work this and after paying a lot of money to have installed and several people later found out why it would not do what it was supposed to do. HP was told what I wanted and even after it arrived and had to have HP Technical re set it up, the issue of why and how to use my "Printer, Copier" was skirted around and I was not told the truth. I let everybody know up front I WAS NOT A TECHIE. I do not know really if this is a good printer or not. After almost a month finally got it to print but have no idea what this machine is capable of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good I replaced a hp laser 4200. I’ve had trouble getting the setup right as the touch display is difficult to use and getting the right setting for print quality. Other than that I’m happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very dependable printer. I bought this printer to replace another HP LaserJet printer that had given us 10 years of heavy duty printing without a glitch so it was a no brainer to continue buying HP brand laser printers. This new one is faster, quieter and cooler. I am looking forward to a very long and satisfying relationship.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer with one problem It isn't in all of the documentation for this printer, but the ONLY laser cartridge that can be used on this printer is the 37A. No, you can't use the 37X or the 37Y - these don't fit the machine. The 37A will do 11,000 impressions. This is an ENTERPRISE printer. It prints really fast and was terrific. But we were going through laser cartridges every few days. So we ordered the 37X which can do 25,000 impressions. But it didn't fit the machine! And these cartridges are NOT cheap. Why create an enterprise printer but outfit it with a laser cartridge that can only do 11,000 prints? This was not smart on HP's part!
