Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gathering Dust as I wait for my PC to be builtThe monitor was delivered. But the monitor is gather dust as I wait for my PC to be built. The PC delivery date has been delayed once already. The PC was suppose to ship yesterday but there is no indication/communication from HP that it was shipped, built or delayed. I ordered the PC and monitor a month ago. I am totally unsatisfied with the service and communication I receive from HP. This is the last time I am doing business with HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Photographer/ArtistThe stand on this monitor is a joke. I watched as my monitor fell off its stand and shattered the IPS panel. It is useless now. there is no way to securely attach the monitor to the stand. Accident waiting to happen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HDMI ports do not function as expected. The visual quality and features of this monitor are very good. My only concern is that the HDMI 1 & 2 ports seem to be reversed on this example. HDMI 2 produces the 4k image but HDMI 1 has lower resolution. This is reversed from the owners manual. It functions this way with both of my laptops and so I concluded the monitor is the problem. Two hours with HP product support went no where in resolving the issue. I guess I can live with backward ports, but it is hard to give this product the high grades it deserves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice screen but horrible standI want to start by saying that the screen is gorgeous. 4k quality is amazing.I am mostly disappointed by features:1-the stand is terrible, the monitor wobbles as I type on my keyboard. They did cut cost on that nice looking piece of metal that holds the stand, but it sure isn't strong enough for the job.2-the menu is terrible: because the monitor cannot switch automatically to usb-c when it's plugged (not supported...), you have to use the switch input button but it takes two clicks to switch to the next input, without any feedback on the screen! So it takes 8 clicks to iterate over all 4 inputs, and you're lucky if that worked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It takes 2 to get a good oneI have purchased this monitor twice from HP, and both times the first one I received had problems with the base mounting to the monitor securely. So plan on ordering 2

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most stunning monitor so far in human historyI've been on the Dell P4317Q for the past 6 months, finally decided using a 4k screen, even at 43", at 100% scaling is a terrible decisions, and decided I need more real estate and there is no way to fit 3 x 43" monitors on my sit/stand Terra desk. I can't go back to low-DPI monitors, so I picked up 3 of these HP Envy 27's...Oh...My...Freaking>>>>GOD.When did HP hire incredible industrial designers? These things are GORGEOUS. The only way to go up from here is to literally make bezel-less displays and refine material technology to let you make a completely invisible-from-most-angles stand. Height adjustment wouldn't have hurt but I get why it would've tainted the design language a bit.But yeah. Best monitor money can buy right now overall for everyone but those who absolutely don't care about or value the look and feel of their devices. Also a bit mind-boggling how and why this is so cheap. I would've paid $1,000 a pop for these, the designer definitely deserves it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good picture, annoying controlsPretty nice, crisp picture, though there are some uneven areas of backlight, like dimness around the sides. The input switching is annoying as it takes a long time to switch, and doesn't have an OSD to tell you what input it's on. Menu buttons are hard to use. Also, wobbles A LOT. I 3D printed a little figure to hold up a corner to stop it. Wish it had a USB hub on it. Power brick is ridiculous in size.
