Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't believe HP's advertisements I understand that the Officejet printer uses color ink when it prints black-and-white pages. But even taking that into consideration, I have never come anywhere close to getting the number of printed pages suggested by HP's advertisements. I rarely print many color pages; the cartridges either magically dry out or become unusable just sitting in the printer. All I know is that the printer reports them as empty, and even before they are reported as empty the printer "blesses" me with blank pages, one-color pages, blurred pages, and so forth. Brand new, the cartridges work just fine... the first time you use them. Wait a week sitting in the printer and they're useless. I suggest buying a cartridge only right before you have a color print job to do so the cartridge is never left sitting in the printer, and I suggest you make sure you always select "Use black ink only" on your printer preferences dialog when you're printing "black and white". It's not the default.

I've always received mine the next day. Also you don't have to worry about not being able to find the ink you use or buying the right cartridge. I haven't shopped in a local store for ink in years! It's so economical, easy and convenient buying from HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome prints I had a HP printer that was purchase last year with my HP Pavillion G series, used it for 3months and i was ordering the ink cartdrige in the internet, from Ink Jet.com, After the first color and black ink installation, the printer began to mis print and finally would not recognize my ink cartdrige, So I Purchased another Printer HP Photosmart C5280, and i order the Cartdriges from HP on Line not only i saved money but the quality of my prints are awsome and the printer is just like when i bought it, amazing , i won't buy ink from nowhere else for my HP. The HP Shop had them in store, they were shipped the same day I received an e-mail conformation of the expected delivery date. They arrived one day early, excellent service.

I print about 150 pages a year, almost all in just black ink so this color cartridge should have had a lot of ink left . An expensive fix just to get my printer to work. Unfortunately the only other solution is to buy another printer.

I continue to use my cartridges until it actually does not print anymore. I think of all the cartridges I threw out that still had ink left in them - I discovered this when reading an article years ago.

My HP printerC4480 signaled that both cartridges were authentic; however, the printer could not complete the alignment with them and when I tried to make a copy in both black and color the results were very poor.

It's very frusterating that the cartrdge will work for about 10 pages and then the same message comes up every time.
