Printheads use to last longer
Installed new printhead nov 2019. I do light duty printing occassionally. Need to buy a new one because print quality is poor. Only went through 4 rolls of paper, 150ft each. Really? Lousy quality!!!!

Our DesignJet printer stopped working. The screen prompted me to call HP. I did and was told that I needed a replacement kit. It was an easy fix, we ordered one and installed it the day it arrived (within 2 days) My experience with HP support was fast and easy.

New Printhead Fixed Problem!!
We bought this as our plotter was giving low quality print despite cleanings and alignments. I chose HP for their warranty which others did not offer and the fact it is an HP plotter printer. The quality of printing is back to excellent and the price was comparable to all the rest I found and I got the warranty which others did not offer. Very pleased with purchase and purchasing from HP.

It did the job.
The kit was delivered one day after it was scheduled. No problem.
The instructions were not real clear (universal pictures - almost no text), but after a few minutes it all worked out. The important thing is that the printer seems to work like new again.

T120 printhead failure - Fixed problem
Printhead failed on the T120 at 14 months! with not a lot of use but the replacement went smooth and works fine. Just costs $.

Good--but something to THINK about
While not overly obsessed with conspiracy theories; I find it hard to believe that my need to replace the printhead and cartridge set just after a problematic update from Windows 10 a bit suspect. Considering the cost of this item at about 25% of the original purchase price and printer just over a year old, the need is disappointing. HP has FAQ's addressing the update but if your into FAQ quagmires, Godspeed. I attempted updates to firmware and assoc. software to no avail. The product works now, however, my thought is that I should have not needed it in the first place.

The print head did not make any difference in the slack quality of the T110 printer. if you are looking for a better roller printer do not but this mistake of a printer creation. Too many problems to list for this HP mistake.

Printhead replacement - SIMPLE
Replacing the printhead is very easy to remove existing and install new printhead.
5 years on the first printhead, but I was told, 3-4 years is the average on replacing the printhead.

Not Reliable
I bought the replacement because the original messed up the color printing after just a few months. I didn't mind so much at that time because I normally just use the black ink. Until the printer stop printing. So I bought a new replacement kit last month. I was happy I can print again with my usual need for the black print. Until today part of my printing job would need to use colors, and that's the time I found out that the color printing is not working right. There are large and wide lines.

Hi,
I received the printer head, but when it was installed it lead to another separate issue. I was recommended to contact an HP repair person in my area to look into something with the chassis. On Island of hawaii he says you have no service locations, so I need to find a random repair shop to see if they can resolve the issue.
Seems strange to be having so many different problems after this printer was working perfectly.
If the repair person cannot resolve the issue, I would like to get a refund for the new printer head that did not resolve the issue. Seeing that there is no support in my region, I would assume that a company like HP would be able to provide better service options or just replace the printer....

Easy replacement
Picked this up after talking to HP about an issue with the printer.Part was easy to access and easy to remove and replace. Shipping was quick and I found that the pricing was very competitive even to Amazon. Would definitely looks to HP directly again for any issue. printer head came with new print cartridges to assure a clean transition back to normal operation.
