Still works like a dream- great colors - and is extremely precise. I have even run the same artwork through it a second time to add an element, and it comes out perfectly!!!

I like HP 28 tricolor because it does an excellent print job. The colors are true. I don't generally make recommendations, but I would for this cartridge.

I was out of color ink on my older HP printer (model PSC-1210) and ordered online this "HP 28 Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge" from HP itself. On its arrival I installed the new ink and scanned a section of the nearest thing within reach for a test, a tear-off from a newspaper grocery store flier. By "scanned" I mean I made a copy. The scanned image of blues, red, yellow, whites and blacks, primarily an ad for eggs, was, is, so real looking I kept reaching for it to - it's down on the printer shelf there set aside, the copy is, in order to pick up the newspaper fragment (about 6 inches x 3 inches) to tidy up - but it's NOT the newspaper fragment, it's the image of the newspaper advertisement printed with the new HP color ink onto regular printer (copy type) paper. Man, that's good color. I have no other comments, though, since I only just installed this cartridge a week ago, except to say that the order from HP, which included other printer inks, came super-fast right to the door by some kind of mail service.

I would like to see HP come up with refilled cartridges under their logo that are more affordable. The home computer user is in need of some consideration.

I had been procrastinating about trying to use it as I had purchased a new laptop since and no longer had the software disc to get it set up on the new laptop. Having the need to print some docuements from home I bit the bullet and got started. I had ordered new printer cartridges in anticipation, knowing the old ones were most likely dried out. Once I connected the printer I found that it was extremely easy to get it set up on my laptop, which is also an HP product. I loaded the new cartriedges, turned it on and it soon printed its startup "test" page with no gaps or errors. Not only have the HP printer cartridges maintained a high level of quality over the years, but their printers are true workhorses as well, performing nicely after years of disuse! Highly recommend HP printers and supplies!
