HP 17 (C6625A) Tri-color Original Ink Cartridge is rated 3.46 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a pricey product. I have used the HP 17 cartridges for about twelve years on my HP printer and they work fine, but are much higher priced than other cartridges for other printers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad Product After replacing the HP 17 Tricolor Ink Cartridge my printer will not print the color yellow. I used the printer services to clean, prime and align the cartridge. All other colors are fine. I don't recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why no twin pack available? Quality printing ink cartridge - Use it with my HP deskject 845C printer that I have had for years. Just wish it was not so expensive and that it came in a twin pack. Excellent colors on printed pictures and cards that I make for family and friends cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't find it in the stores...only at HP direct. So good to have the needed cartridge available. I went back to my old HP printer which is doing the job for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faulty cartridge Formerly, HP 17 was a "unique" cartridge (as ALL of HP cartridges appear to be). That is, it could not be used in place of any other cartridge. Now, HP 17 appears to be able to replace HP 23 as well as HP 41. The engineering required to produce such a cartridge has, at least for me, resulted in an HP 17 that caused my printer to malfunction. I discussed this situation with an HP representative and was mailed a new HP 17 that is functioning just fine. However, I will be very wary in the future of HP products with "expanded" functions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its A Trooper I have had my HP840C for ten years. It has been a trooper for me. I have never had any serious problem with it and it has printed well over 30,000 pages. The ink carts have always done their job properly. It has simply been one of those things that just keeps on working as it should. The machine lost one of its roller pins and still marches on so I have no complaints about it. Ten Years!!! Not bad for an inexpensive printer. Its been like a Chevy of the printer world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Limited by the amount of yellow ink About 20 years ago I bought a Deskjet 843C and it is still working quite good, so the review on that would be nice. Big problem, nevertheless, are the color cartridges HP 17. In contrast to the corresponding black cartridges, they are an ongoing source of annoyance, as the ink has a strong tendency to dry in the nozzles. But even more annoying is that every single cartridge up to today first run out of the yellow ink! Blue, apparently infinite supply, same with red (or whatever you call the colors), but yellow seems to be only half full EVERY SINGLE TIME. And yes, I print regular stuff, like office documents and every once in a while an image, with no particular prference for yellow. With the current price at hand (about $65) this is really a money sink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ink Cartridges I bought the same ones I always buy but the blinking light is still blinking and it wont's print, even after cleaning all contact points. It is an old 842C, maybe too old now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ink Cartridges Availavle I tried other ink cartridges from other venders that were recycles etc. and they were junk and didn’t print well at all. I’ll stick to the HP brand. It may cost a bit more but well worth it in the long run. I get quality when I stick with HP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect color very first time! I have an older (no, really old!) printer and I have tried several of the 'refurbished, reconditioned, refilled cartridges, but they don't have the vibrancy of the original HP toners. A little more money, but they work every time!
