This is the same as the NUC with the same specs, and there are a few similar offerings, but I used 40 of this same model.Gigabyte has been updating the driver list in their web site. For Intel based drivers, it is best to go to Intel though.This specific version has a RealTek wifi combo card. I had to replace it in a few systems with an Intel AC one (mainly because of 5Ghz though). Opening the box and adding RAM and CPU was easy, and it has taken all 3 types of RAM I purchased (as long as it is DDR3L (low voltage, 1.35 volts)The Celeron N2807 is a decent performer, and it support QuickSync video. This made a difference against the Intel ComputeStick that we tried to replace it with.It is big, but because of the support of 2.5 drives. I have also used their Pro Brix, and the M2 only Brix.Again, the only star it loses is because of the Wifi card, which might or might not work for you (from 35 I have running I had to replace 4). Gigabyte has now an updated driver that works better, but the first year I had to suffer with lack of a decent driver.Newer models come with AC combo cards instead.Linux runs well as long as it is 3.6 Kernel (Ubuntu 14.04 and higher for example) but I did not do extensive testing.Windows will detect and install drivers automatically (8 and 10) for most of the system except LAN (RealTek also).I tested Linux Mint 14, Ubuntu 14.04, Windows 7, Windows 8 Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. I am using them mainly with 10 now. Installing the current drivers from the Gigabyte site is recommended even though Windows install the drivers.

Put a 4 gig stick of RAM and a 60 gig ssd in it, tested with Ubuntu, Lubuntu, ElementaryOS, Windows 7. They perform very well and have proven to be a very reliable piece of hardware.Also toyed with streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime and Plex. Worked well, thinking about installing a couple of these at home for the kids on their TV's to surf the web and stream
