Fortinet's FortiSwitch family of Ethernet switches deliver outstanding price, performance, and scalability to organizations with diverse operational needs. The FortiSwitch platforms are purpose-built to meet the Ethernet infrastructure and provisioning needs of today's network edge. You can scale up/out your operations' performance needs with ease of use and low cost of ownership to meet the demands of bandwidth-intensive applications from small offices to large datacenters.

The FortiSwitch 224B-POE is designed for mid-size businesses, classrooms and distributed remote locations that want to benefit from converged networking with lowest TCO. This switch offers a total of 24 usable ports: 20 10/100/1000 Mbps copper ports, and four copper 10/100/1000 ports shared with four hot-swappable Small Formfactor Pluggable (SFP) cages for optional fiber connectivity. This standards-based PoE Switch provides power and data over the same Cat-5 UTP cable along with prioritization and SNMP making it ideal for deploying access points, VoIP phones and IP-based surveillance cameras. This high performing switch features non-blocking wire-speed architecture with a 48 Gbps switching capacity for maximum data throughput. This managed switch also provides capabilities for VLAN segmentation of your voice, video, data and wireless traffic. The FortiSwitch family is packaged in a compact 1RU form factor and designed to connect network devices to the Ethernet fabric, thereby reducing your overall deployment costs.
