Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I built a desk out of 1 1/2" thick oak and a pair of oak filing cabinets but the keyboard and mouse height were causing pain in my right shoulder and I thought it might be due to the height and location of the keyboard and mouse. I installed the drawer this morning and worked all day without pain! This did what I needed and it's pretty sturdy.

The template to line up the screws was very helpful. The only thing I would add to the instructions is to make sure that this drawer does not prevent other drawers from opening. I needed to move mine back more after it was installed which was a pain.

Unlike many other keyboard drawer models, the Fellowes Keyboard Drawer also features a fold-away mouse tray, freeing up additional desk space while tucking away neatly while not in use. The design is sturdy and trustworthy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Packaging issue I could not use the the mouse pad extension as all the screw holes were broken when I unpacked it. I could use an extension for an adding machine but it didn't appear to be sturdy enough for that anyway. I didn't want my mouse down there so I just omitted that part. Simple solution is to not pre-assemble that part. Pressure on the screws during shipping broke the holes they were in.

The cost was a little higher than others I researched (but the quality may be a bit better than the others). The instructions were a little unclear but I worked through it. There were left over parts (I am assuming there were shipping screws and extra screws). Hopefully I didn't leave anything off. It would be helpful to mention that if it is normal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would not recomment The keyboard tray is fine; it is the attachment for the mouse that is the problem. It is a very uncomfortable distance from the keyboard and also sits much lower than the keyboard. I actually have to lean forward and turn to the side. I can't believe this keyboard was tested and approved. It does not pass the ergonomic test in my opinion.

Template provided made it easy to install under desk. Mouse tray handy, well located on either side and large enough for which ever model or size used. Easy to switch form left to right side. Would have liked to have a backstop on drawer to allow for storage of needs without worry of sliding off of backside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dependable Purchase that never goes to waste! I have been purchasing this products since I started be in charge of ordering all our company's office products. From one coworker to the other, by word of mouth have recommended this keyboard drawer. The drawer itself look nice and it does the job of making it comfortable to be able to type. The only thing that I would mention is that the bracket holders are made of plastic and overtime they start cracking. Another factor is that the bracket set is not sold separately which means you would have to purchase the item again. Maybe a suggestion would be for the bracket mounts to be made of a different material such as steel or a stronger material. Over all we would recommend this to someone who is looking for a keyboard drawer. I believe they will be satisfied with your product as well! I love your products and so keep amazing the world of all your inventions, new and old and making our office life easier to manage and organize! You guys rock!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Difficult to install The keyboard drawer is an innovative idea but it is very difficult to install due to having to lay on your back and work with your arms in an uplifted, extended position. The unit is very difficult to hold in place while attaching the screws. I used hex screws instead of the ones provided. The greatest design FLAW is the use of the nuts to fasten the brackets together. They should be molded into the plastic to prevent their falling out during installation. When I tried to adjust the drawer height later I found it an impossibility to change the setting due to the nuts falling out of the recesses and I eventually removed the unit altogether. Waste of $$$

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice! I needed a new under desk keyboard tray at work. It finally arrived and was installed. How nice to have a a quiet sliding drawer for a change and is really smooth. I am so glad to have it back. I can't have the keyboard on the desktop anymore. I would recommend this tray to anyone.
