I had ordered the non convertible one and returned it because the phone wouldn't stay securely in place and placement of the phone had to be too precise.This one works great. I can easily place the phone on it in either landscape or portrait mode and it stays securely in place due to the leather-like surface which gives it some grip. I also like the look -- it's not the typical shiny plastic, but more of a professional look.Generally, I've been keeping it in the full open/extended position, but the ability to collapse the base will make it really easy to travel.Wireless charging is fast. It is not as fast as a fast charger via USB-C, but it's just so convenient to place the phone on the charging pad by my laptop that it's not an issue.I also like that it comes with a fast charger plug and USB-C cable, which allows me to use the charging plug with or without the wireless stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 byChico girl from I truly like Samsung products but.....I purchased This product about a month ago and I find that my Galaxy S8 plus heats up incredibly hot add the charging is very slow not at all what I feel it should be in performance. The look of the charger it is nice but over all I would only give it 2 to 2 and a 1/2 stars

This one charges per say and keeps my phone at 1% battery. Very disappointed and unsatisfied. I use the charging cable tho. Just not the wireless hub. Sad.

The convince of having this on my nightstand is priceless. Plus this gen is even more amazing because of the usb-c and convertible layout.
