The Extreme Networks™ G2 X440-G2-12p-10GE4 Switch comes with 12 PoE+ ports of 10/100/1000BASE-T on the front panel. All 12 ports support half-duplex and full-duplex communication. Four unpopulated 1GBASE-X SFP+ ports can also function as 1 GB ports. Users can upgrade these to 10 GB ports via additional licensing. Users can also convert two of the 1GBASE-X SFP+ ports to stacking ports when scaling their networks. This managed switch runs ExtremeXOS®, which is easy to use for on-premise and cloud-based configuration and oversight.

The ExtremeSwitching X440-G2 switch also supports Fabric Attach and role-based policies for automated and secure access to specific network applications and resources. Admins get the capability to fine-grain control over traffic flows and access to particular applications and network services thanks to the sophisticated and intelligent Layer 2 Switching and Layer 3 IPv4/IPv6 routing. This PoE+ switch also supports IEEE 802.1 audio video bridging, enabling reliable video and audio transmission over Ethernet. It comes with a 264-watt internal power supply.
