Functions, but not as expected for the price.
It does what is advertised, but even at full adjustment for the heaviest weight tv (mine is about 80 Lbs) requires considerable force to move. It does stay where you put it, but more force is required than expected to move it. Also, when lowering the TV, when it gets to the bottom travel limit, it hits hard enough that we have to be very careful bringing it down. I would expect a softer stop - even just a piece of rubber at the bottom stop would have helped. It is just metal hitting metal. I am disappointed for the money spent.

Great TV bracket
If you want to move your TV up and down, there’s no better bracket in the market. It’s expensive but made of excellent quality and moving it up and down is very easy. The only negative comment is that the template they provide to make the holes in the wall is off by 2 mm and therefore the screws don’t line up properly and it’s hard to make the bracket fit. Difficult to believe that, having built such an engineering feat, they dropped the ball on the template.
