Epson Moverio BT-300 glasses is rated4.40 out of5 by5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mavic ProI bought the Moverio BT-300 to fly with my Mavic Pro. I use my quad professionally so needed a solution that allowed me to comply with the FAA VLOS guidance. It took a bit of work to get the device working perfectly (there's a Maps hack on the Moverio FB group); but now I couldn't imagine going back to my phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 Stars for the 3rd Pair in 2 Months! On my first pair, the charging port to the main board was loose and was Done.Second Pair I got to use for another 12 hours or so before, I believe, it got too warm i feel,. I simply shut the screen off for an hour or so and when I came back it was Done. The third pair made it through the first day so far, and I did notice that only after Thirty Minutes of use, it gets pretty Warm. I guess is normal, as is rendering the loads out of video and such, but I notice there is not cooling mechanism, I hope when they get the bugs worked out they will exchange these faulty first production models!I still love the thing to death, but we should be warned of this, and makes me scared to be out there flying my drone and the thing go dead on me after an hour from overheat, may put ice pack under it! No, REALLYHolt

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Welcome to the future of flightI have owned these since December. I have the developer version which is the same as the FPV version here. These are truly a huge advancement in monitoring your DJI drone flights. The glasses are comfortable and the si-OLED display is outstanding. There is a learning curve in viewing with these as you much train your eyes to see this amazing display while keeping your flying in the distance in view much the same as viewing a site and distant target when target shooting with a gun. I would give the BT 300 5 stars if it were not for a couple of issues that need to be addressed. Currently (March 29, 2017) there are huge latency issues with the DJI GO App which makes them unusable if you fly an Inspire 1 Pro v2. I am currently waiting for the fix. The GO 4 works fine. Then there is the fact that you can't load any 3rd party flight controller or information apps such as Litchi, Hover, Airflight, Drone Deploy etc which then makes this a really expensive and fragile monitor and doesn't help to eliminate gear in the field. It actually adds to your gear list since you will need a tablet to control and monitor those apps aside from the glasses. You can't use the glasses together with an iPad or Android device at the same time so if you use other tools you are switching them out risking damage to these REALLY expensive glasses / monitors. Overall this is an amazing tool but needs to be much more versatile in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS THING..!!!!!!!!!!!!!I purchased mine 2 weeks ago. Love it...! It is capable of doing so many things. Wish there was more APPS in the APP store but with a little savyness you can put as many APPS on the device as you can. Looking forward to using it much much more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So I bought these and wowOk so I'm into my mavic pro some dude made a video and one person made a snappy comment and I got a little offended, the guy was being a smarty pants, well he mentioned these epson bt 300 glasses, so I love them up and it was very hard to find a video of what the person was seeing wearing the glasses so I hunt and hunt and found one that I believe is what they saw... I could hunt for it but it's a guy from France it something, The controller needs a little more work as far as holding it it's not bad but makes something to separate the touch pad and the clock motion sensor wheel because I've hit the O button on accident while trying to move around. It's slightly annoying I got a little this like of tape and put it down the middle to separate it by touch, but that's for epsons team of Dev to consider. Not using tape but maybe a small line that lumps the 2 apart. Also epson should make interchangeable lenses or cameras for the users, they are expensive I'd like to see options for them to aide in the feel that I got my

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome quality, at a cost.Call me when you support analog, I'll buy dozens. Latency is unfortunate however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product overallI ordered AR glasses a month ago and overall am very satisfied with it. Hopefully a few more key enhancement will come in the form of downloadable updates to make them amazing. I bought the glasses to reduce the risk of losing sight of my UAV in the after looking down at my tablet. I take a lot of video of rock climbers and have to get pretty close to climbers, cliffs and trees. I've had a number of close calls when flying in those tight canyons and near cliffs and trees especially with cross winds. Using the AR glasses made a huge difference as I am now able to keep line of sight on my UAV and still see all my telemetries and video without taking my eyes off the UAV. It only took about two flights to get used to using the glasses and now I can't imagine flying without them. Definitely a game changer in the UAV world. I am able to fly with more confidence and get better smoother video using the glasses as I never have to look down at my tablet and can easily keep line of sight, frame video and keep an eye on my telemetries. The shipping was very fast, only took 3 days to arrive. Although I have to pay extra for that, it was awesome! I am using the glasses with a Mavic Pro UAV so I had to order a 3rd party adapter to hold the unit in the Mavic Pro remote as Espon doesn't offer one. I also had to down load and install the DJI Go4 app. The system comes with DJI Go installed, but that app doesn't work with the Mavic Pro. At first it install crashed so I had to uninstall it and reinstall to get it to work. Works fine now.The glasses are reasonably light... but I wear prescription lenses so the AR glasses fit over my prescription lenses but the added weight is noticeable and the space on the bridge of my nose it limited and doesn't allow for full range of adjustment.I find the corners and edges of the display can be vary hard to read sometimes. When I adjust where the AR glasses sit on my nose helps but is still not perfect. It's possible that this may improve for those that do not have to wear prescription lenses. The glasses come with plastic frames for prescription lenses that clip in to the AR glasses. I will get those fitted for lenses soon and see if there is any improvement. The AR glasses also come with 2 tinted lens covers, one medium and one dark to use in brighter skies and are necessary to be able to see the display on those bright days.I do find using the touch pad challenging especially while flying. I often will accidently touch the pad which is like a mouse click and activate things I don't want activated or minimize the DJI app. I will like to see something a little more user friendly to use while flying that would prevent that from happening.Other features I would like to see:* Have the screen, via GPS, track the UAV and give direction indicators incase you loose sight of the UAV.* Lenses that are light sensitive to auto darken like my rearview mirror. The clip on shades do not have and protective holders and I see them getting lost, broken or scratched over time. They are also a pain to have to switch out as sometimes you are flying and the brightness changes depending on which direction you are looking.* Improved vision near edges of screen* Faster startup time * hardware adjustment dial for display brightnessI would highly recommend these glasses as there are, but adding these enhancements will make an already amazing product to a must have for all UAV pilots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inspire 1 drone pilot.Have been using the product for over a month for flying my DJI INSPIRE 1 drone. It took me about 1/2 hr to get use to focus between the head up display(HUD) of all the control and the line of sight of the drone. Once my visual and my brain adapted to the smart glass it was then I enjoy the reason I purchase the Moverio BT-300FPV. This unit is not only lightweight and compact but is also useful as a cinematic for watching movies and surfing the web. I am still trying out it usage for drone racing and it looks way cooler than the bulky ones out in the market. Best investment I made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nightmare to start but great once working !!Arrived today and really looking forward to using them with my DJI drone. Unfortunatley getting wifi connected, then logging into the Moverio system is an absolute nightmare using the touchpad. It is so sensitive and difficult to use it took me 2 hours nearly just to login and find the DJI app. Then it got dark so no flying today.Once the app was downloaded I was very pleased by the clarity and functionality and am looking forward to tomorrow for the first flight. As a commercial operator this should be very beneficial when flying and keeping within the regulations. You need to be very patient when you open the box !!Otherwise - GREAT

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product after some setupConfiguring the Epson BT-300 with the DJI GO app took a little bit of time for me. Not as easy as setting up GO on a tablet. Once configured the glasses are easy to use, provide a good pilot experience, and make for simple photography. Pros1. Good field of view2. New piloting experience3. Lightweight and comfortable Cons1. Needs native HDMI port2. Sore neck from constantly watching sky and no longer looking at controller
