The enTourage eDGe™ is the world’s first dualbook, combining the functions of an e-reader, tablet netbook, notepad, and audio/video recorder and player in one. It’s a comprehensive device that lets you read e-books, surf the Internet, take digital notes, send emails and instant messages, watch movies and listen to music anywhere, any time.
The e-Ink® e-reader screen is 1200x825 pixels, or 9.7” measured diagonally. This big screen makes reading ePub files or PDFs much easier than on smaller screens, reducing the number of page turns. It offers zooming capability, a glare-free screen, the ability to read in sunlight and also lets you take notes right on the book, either by hand or using the virtual keyboard. Additionally, you can create drawings with the stylus. Your notes and journals can be saved to the enTourage eDGe, to a server, or you can email them to your friends or classmates.
The color touchscreen is a tablet netbook, ready to play movies or MP3s, organize your books, notes, and pictures, or let you email/instant message your friends with the virtual keyboard. The screen is 1024x600 pixels, or 10.1” measured diagonally. You can view images from an e-book this color display. An audio recorder is included to capture lectures for later playback. It also has a video camera to record still images or movies as MP4s or 3GP files. Plug in headphones or a microphone, or use the built in speaker and recorder.
Browse the web and purchase e-books using the built in WiFi®. Utilize the email function and contacts list, calculator, alarm clock, as well as a library function to manage your books and files. The Google® Android® operating system allows you to add other applications you need.
Flexibility: you can use the tablet netbook in portrait or landscape mode, and you can flip both screens 180° so that the e-reader is on the right side, and the tablet netbook is on the left.
