good of you need to pug printer in for tablet, wish tablet stayed connected to the dock via bluetooth or something.

Rugged Dock
Nice design and heavy enough not to move easily when removing unit. You mount unit vertical and lean back again support. Mine is not connecting well leaned back and going to request a replacement.

Docking Station not durable
While I love the tablets themselves this docking station has proven to wear down quickly if you take the tablet off and replace it on the docking station often. We have 12 of these and I've already had to replace 4 in only a couple of years, the last one having lasted only about 6 months. The issues seems to be that the docking clamps that lock the 2 together quickly wear down from repeated use at which point then the tablet rolls back against the rest it will lose sufficient pressure on the contact pins to maintain reliable charging and use of USB devices connected to the docking station.

Almost Impossible to Find
Took way too long and too much sales chat to find. Outdated ports. Had to buy a special Dell cable to connect my Dell 7220 to my Dell monitor using this Dell dock.

Unleashing Desktop Power
The Dell dock totally beefs up my rugged tablet! It's built tough, just like the tablet, so I don't worry about bumps or spills. Plus, it hooksu p to two monitors, which is awesome for multitasking. No more tiny screen blues! It even charges two spare batteries, so I'm always powered up. It's a bit pricey, but worth it if you need a rugged desktop experience for your tablet.
