Rated 5 out of 5 byA.S. from Nice Memory RAMPros: Relatively cheap for laptop ram. Great quality. I bought this to speed up my underpowered Windows Vista laptop ( as most of them seem to be). Vista immediately recognized the ram & at the right timings. Works great. Now I hae 2 gigs in my laptop & it's definitely an improvement. Cons: None.

Rated 5 out of 5 byPersonal User from Found my problemThe memory did increase my speed. However since adding it, my notebook would shutdown for no reason. After restoring it back to it's factory state and fighting with it for months, it hit me about the memory upgrade. The shutdowns were numerous to where it would shutdown 2 or 3 times in 10 minutes. I finally put back the original memory and it hasn't shutdown once and it's been over a day since I switched back to the original memory. I will be trying to exchange or get my money back as the memory has proven to be the problem causing my shutdowns.

Finally pulled the trigger, and then saw the Crucial System Scanner. Used that and within seconds got a memory upgrade recommendation, which I purchased. Almost immediately after, received an email that my order had shipped (and this was on a Saturday!) Order arrived one day early. I installed it and the results were flawless. It doesn't get any better than that.

Rated 5 out of 5 bydrlarryross from The RAM is perfect!This RAM worked perfectly with my HP NX9600 notebook which has a clock speed of 3.2 GHz, and a maximum RAM support of 2GB: it really made the computer run faster overall, because it was slow with the 1GB of RAM that was previouslt installed. Highly recommended!

With 1/2 gig of RAM it had slowed to a crawl over the years. No noticeable improvement with clean-ups and clean-outs. Installed two 2-gig kits and it performs like new.
