Canon RC-6 wireless remote control
After taking pictures where I ran to the group after engaging the timer on my camera, I finally purchased a remote control to do the job. Works great and I should have purchased this years ago!

No Fuss remote
This has been a great addition to my camera gear. I have a 5D markIII, and a 60D, and it works on both cameras. I have had several remotes that have had issues when I needed to use them. This one has been great and sinks right to the camera without having to plug into it, or having multiple pieces, that each take different batteries.

There are two remote controls for these DSLR cameras: (1) the wired remote for when you are behind the camera and want to use the Bulb feature while doing time-lapse pictures and (2) the infrared wireless remote for when you are in front of the camera. This wireless remote has great battery life (I've had my same battery for almost four years) and works very well. This is great if you want to take your own family pictures!
