Powershot SX620 HS
I have owned a Cannon SX230hs since 2011 and has been with me on a 10,000 mile motorcycle trip to Alaska, 18 National Parks, Sturgis, Washington DC, several cruises and many other trips. I was saddened when it started acting erratic. The SX620hs has big shoes to fill and I must say so far I have been quite pleased. It is lighter and a tab bit smaller and I notice it is made in China and feels more cheaply built but the main thing is it takes good photos, very good zoom and is easy to use. My main camera is a Cannon 60D and this one will be for hikes and motorcycle trips. Only time will tell if it can last a hard 9 years like my SX230hs.

This is a great camera if your just starting YouTube and can’t afford something like the g7x. The quality is good and it’s easy to work. Highly recommend if you want a good cheap camera.

I bought this camera to take on vacation, since my last camera is probably 10 years old. I love that I can control it with my phone. The app and a mini tripod let me take great group shots. The camera also took great shots from a moving car, and I wasn't expecting those to turn out.

Good camera for travel
I got this as a replacement for the one my wife lost on a recent trip. She loved that one so there was no need to change. The powerful zoom is great and the photos are fine for albums and sharing online.

too slow
I am very disappointed with this camera. When taking a picture then waiting to take the next picture takes long. I have tried several difference setting and still the same, take a picture and get busy waiting to take the next shot. I would returned the camera but no returns on used camera. My phone takes much better pictures and easier to work with. Sorry, if Canon makes a camera equal to the phone and maybe next time I will get one, but until then I'll stick with the phone

I bought in the past a lot of canon cameras they are very fragile & try to fix through your guys & you didn’t expect! I hope this camera will hold long bicouse you don’t have good service on the warranty!

Yes, I've been using this camera about 1-month. Arrived in a day and one half. Just days ago set my own settings. I do amateur photography. JPG files and a desktop. (WIN 10. Very satisfied as always with Canon products.

Fast, long zoom
This is an upgraded replacement for the 610 I had. The zoom is fast and incredible. I use it on ATV rides and is subjected to a lot of rough handling, dust and abuse. The 600 and it's replacement 610 lasted about 2 years each. Under the harsh conditions, they held up well and I expect the same of this 620. It also has a longer zoom for photographing (or video of the wildlife . I've been VERY happy with the last 2 cameras and I think this will do the same.

Quality has gone down for Canon
I've owned a few Canon cameras over the years and there was a period where each new model was getting better and better. Now, I guess maybe because of smartphones and cutting costs, this latest model feels like the worst quality yet. Holding my very old Powershot and this brand new one in my hands, there's no way you'd think the new one was "new." It feels light, cheap, clunky, and I don't have much confidence it will last or take the quality the older one did.
