Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact, quiet and easy to useAfter receiving this PIXMA TS6120 BK Printer free to review I was very impressed. Out of box was very simple. The loose parts were securely taped and well padded. Set up was easy as well. One thing I did notice was the top lid is very thin. I guess I am used to having a heavier lid with a feeder. It is a compact size so it does fit in smaller spaces. I did not connect it to my computer. It is a stand alone printer used mainly by my children's chromebooks and our personal devices/phones. The instructions provided are easy to follow. I did have to research how to connect the chromebooks. This is a newer printer so it is not listed. I am sure it will be listed later. When I want to print I lift the front panel and turn it on. I select the printer on my device and out it comes. It is quiet too. I am impressed with the quality and ease of use. I would recommend this printer to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for simple printing PIXMA TS6120 BK PrinterI received this printer for free in exchange for writing a review. It worked well, was easy to assemble (basically take out of box, take off tape and plastic) and printed clearly in black and color. The ink cartridges were easy to install. I did have trouble connecting it to my Wi-Fi and spent quite a while trying to troubleshoot. I never could connect it to my Bluetooth, although that could be my phone. I think the paper tray could be larger since it doesn`t hold too much paper. It also doesn`t print envelopes which is a major design flaw in my opinion. I you are planning to use this for small batches of printing, I would recommend it. If you are planning to print a large amount, I would not recommend it. Overall, this is a decent, printer for simple printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Compact printerAfter using the Canon printer for a little over a week there are some things I like about but also some things that could be improved. I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review.First the pros- Its compact, that was my first thought in putting it together and using it. I think its great for a small office, dorm room type situation where you are needing to save space. Also, its relatively quiet, so if your sharing an office space or using it in a dorm room it should be disturbing to others. The quality of the printed work is good nothing out of the ordinary. It prints quicker than I expected which is nice as well. One thing I like about the set up is the screen on the front showed pictures of the next step sometimes and that was helpful when looking where something was etc. The cons- Because I was not in need of something super compact I don’t love how compact it is. The paper tray that the paper comes out on is directly over where you put paper in and I find that inconvenient if Im trying to load something like labels, which I need to put a couple sheets, maybe don’t use all of them and take them out . Also the screen and buttons must be flipped up if you are printing, its not always the best set up when its at a 180 degrees lying flat Id rather have it at a 90 degree if I’m trying to view something on it but you cant do that if you are in the act of printing. My last complaint is that the top feels flimsy, its so that you are able to scan or copy something thicket than just a piece of paper but it makes the printer appear lesser quality than it is. Other thoughts on the printer- Its easy to assemble and I liked that it gave instructions to set up on a smart phone. Over all I like it, would I buy it for myself? Probably not. Id want something a little bigger and sturdy. But I would absolutely buy it for my child or would recommend it to someone who is tight on space and needs a printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overly-complicated machineI received this printer for free through a program in exchange for the review below. My household has both a custom-built desktop PC running Windows 8.1 and a Mac OSX laptop. Initially, the printer was easy to connect to the PC via a wired USB connection (via a cable that was NOT included in the package and I needed to take from an older printer I`ve owned). Connecting it to the PC via wireless through my router proved difficult, which resulted in me doing the wired connection. The included installation CD is only compatible with windows OSes and includes a lot of bloatware, but it did provide for a quick installation. Shortly after connecting the printer and running the CD, I was printing and scanning on my PC.To this date, after about two weeks, I have been incapable of connecting the printer to my Mac laptop via wireless connection. The included installation CD does not work with it and no drivers are available from the manufacturer`s website. The printer has a strange form factor with many portions that slide in and out for everyday functions like document feeding or printing. To even print a single page you need to effectively grab the front of the machine where the screen and buttons reside and flip it up so that printed paper can come out. With the front of the machine flipped up, the previously smooth and featureless form factor looks ugly, but with it closed you cannot leave it open for printing (which proves difficult if you, for instance, keep your printer in a room away from your computer). The same goes for the document feeder in the back of the machine. Printing itself, however, is quite fast, and resolution and quality are high. The biggest issue I have with the printer, however, comes from scanning. Selecting `scan` on the printer itself, always saves images as PDFs instead of other image formats. I have fiddled with the software settings on my computer and settings on the PC itself and there is no way to alter this behavior. If you scan from the printer, or select the `auto scan` function on the included software, it will be an automatically cropped PDF, which is not always a good idea. It is incredibly complicated and requires you to spend a long time sifting through the software options to be able to scan as a JPEG or other image, and it`s intuitive to find which scanning function will actually follow your preference for a JPEG and produce one. This printer appears to lack an audo-document scanning feature for multiple pages. The printer`s ink wells are small and non-refillable. Having printed fewer than ten pages of documents since I received my printer, I`ve already seen a noticeable dip in the ink well levels.Overall, it`s a serviceable and pretty printer with many issues. I would not have purchased this with my own money if given the chance and allowed to comparison shop. 2/5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good cheap printerI received this promo unit for free to write a review. I was the very pleased with this printer even though it is a low end printer. The good:1. Easy to unbox2. Nice aesthetics3. Print quality is very good for a 100$ printer4. Light weightThe Bad 1. Printer feels cheap2. Setup is awful, buggy Canon software. Requires you to be logged in as the local administrator even if you are logging in with administrative rights. 3. Goes through ink fastOverall I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a low cost printer. The good outweighs the bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Low-end document and photo printerI received this printer for free in exchange for agreeing to write a review. This is the first printer I've ever owned and I am pleased at how well this works for a low-end printer. The quality of the print is really good and there is not hassle for drying even when printing images. I will def be using this to print photos to frame and give as gifts for the holidays. Setup is really easy so long as you know all your wifi credentials. Also my iphone recognized it really quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Printer!I was sent this printer as a free sample to review. The printer was very easy to set up as long as you follow the directions. I have apple products (Mac & iPhone), and I had no problems with set up for either. On the iPhone you download an app and its easy from there. My favorite feature is probably the print from the iPhone. I work a lot from my cell phone, so its nice to be able to print documents on the fly. There was not much assembly, take it out of the box, take off the plastic and plug it in. I do think the printer prints documents a bit on the slow side, so if you`re in a hurry, this could be very frustrating. Overall, I was very happy with the printer and I definitely would recommend it from a small home office, but definitely would not recommend as a professional printer.
