CPI MegaFrame rack rail kit

As the amount of equipment in the typical network storage cabinet increases, so does the need to accommodate varying widths of equipment within the same cabinet. Whether mounting 19" or 23" wide equipment, CPI has the solution with the MegaFrame 23"-19" rail adapter kit. Already known throughout the industry for its versatility and easy scalability, the MegaFrame cabinet system now adapts to changing equipment requirements more easily with the rail adapter kit. A series of bolt-on brackets allows equipment mounting rails to be relocated from their original 23" wide mounting position, effectively creating a 19" mounting environment. Additionally, the front-to-rear pass-through created between the rail adapter and the horizontal slide rail provides more flexible cable routing possibilities than are available in cabinets with full-length rail adapters.

The rail adapter kit is designed specifically to enhance the 23" MegaFrame and does not compromise the many beneficial features of the cabinet. The option to use half rails remains viable and front to rear adjustability is maintained. In addition, the static load rating for the adapter kit is consistent with the rating of the MegaFrame - 1000 lb. Each rail adapter kit includes twelve adapters and pack-aged hardware. Rail adapters are constructed of fourteen-gauge steel and are available in three standard colors: white, gray, and black. Installation is made easy using packaged hardware and simple hand tools. Adapters can be used with CPI's standard, Multi-Mount, or HP rails and are available for all cabinet heights.
