VGA + Audio 3.5mm was needed in a metal backed decora insert for a commercial installation. The metal part was easily painted to match the requirements of the facility.

It works
Useful and got the job done. Unfortunately, the paint (finish) is not durable so don't rub it on the edges and be careful when putting on the trim plate (not included).

Robust wall plate insert
We used this product to replace an old, cracked plastic video connector in our business conference room. The old wall plate looked terrible, held together by tape. This plate is metal and worked great. We also got a decorative single gang wall plate to go over it and now the connection (which goes through the wall, into the ceiling, for a overhead projector) looks very professional.

Both attractive and sturdy
We've been using these in a High School environment. They are very clean looking and rugged. They aren't cheap -- but they look great and are holding up even better. We typically use these when installing classroom projectors with long HD15 M/M UXGA Monitor Cable with 3.5mm Audio.

I Want An LCD Display in Every Room from
perfect thing to install LCD on wall
When I installed a PC into the cupboard above the fridge, I fished the cable for the monitor and the audio through the wall into an electrical box. This product is the perfect finish to this project, and I will use it in other installation jobs in the future.

Cleans up the clutter
I installed this in my banquet facility to hook to our projector and sound system. It cleaned up some loose wires we had, and made it very simple for our customers to plug their laptops into our system. Don't forget to order both cables to hook a laptop up to the plate so you will have them on hand for your customers.

Great product
Used this in our church to put video cable below the stage. We use computer screens to display the music to the worship team, so there were cords everywhere. Using these added a clean professional look to the stage. I expect them to be long lasting based on the duable metal construction. Overall, very satisfied.

Being metal I was concerned about the true ivory color. It matched the plastic plate very well. Great peice. I like that the audio connector is on a wire so there is no trouble woth block walls.
