I’m delighted with this charge pad because it is very easy to use and charges my Galaxy phone very quickly. The only way I can get it to charge properly is to remove the case but that is ridiculous to have to remove it every night to charge your phone, I might as well plug the phone in .....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved the problem and now it works perfectly :)Th reason why this wasn't working for me initially is that I was using the charger supplied by Apple for my iPhone X. As soon as I used an iPad charger it began charging correctly, even though my Apple leather case and no amber light showed up. So that seems to have been the issue.

As if to say the phone isn’t on there properly! When it clearly is!!?? Glad I didn’t get the £55 version

It charges my wife's X, and my Galaxy, super fast without overheating them. We both have cases on our phones as well, no problem charging. I have the defender case on mine.Good wireless charger!

However, after removing the case the charger performs just as it should, doesn't charge up the quickest though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super convenient chargingBelkin's charging pad finally let me take advantage of the wireless charging for my iPhoneX and there is nothing more convenient than putting your phone on a flat surface to just let it charge. It comes with a nice long cable that lets you position it wherever you like and it's particularly nice as a bedside charger where plugging in the phone and unplugging when I have forgotten to send an email or set and alarm is a pain. Solid construction and nice LED to let you know it is successfully charging.

Easier than using a cable, if I want to check something I don’t have to unplug and plug it back in again. Only thing that I don’t love is that it picks up fingerprints pretty easily; but the surface does keep the phone from sliding around, which is nice.

I place my phone on charge and it flashes green, so I assume my phones charging and then I’ll wake up or take a glance over to find it either flashing orange or red! It seems to be fussy when it comes to positioning of the iPhone X as sometimes I could be spending hours trying to get the phone to charge! I have a iPhone X case so there shouldn’t be a problem there!

Tried a different outlet and now the device randomly starts flashing red after flashing green for a minute. Red is supposed to mean an unsupported device is connected.

I would read the below reviews with caution as it seem that all S7 owners have the same issue which might actually lie with the phone itself as I have used various phones on this pad with no issue's.

Giving it a 3 star rating simply because I'm not sure what the future will hold. I am using it for my iphone x and after reading all the reviews I'm hoping I don't have the same issues as everyone else with an iphone x.

You can charge your phone and it's easy to take a call without the hassle of unplugging a cable. Seems like the phone gets a little warmer than if you charge by cable. But it doesn't seem to have any adverse effect on the battery. Just as a side note, you do need to be sure to place your phone correctly on the charging pad to make contact with the battery. So it's a good idea to make sure the green light comes on signaling the phone is charging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from problemsI have a Samsung S7 Edge. When I went to get the Samsung charging pad they didn't have any and they talked me into getting the Belkin charging pad. It charged for 2 days then it stopped charging my phone. I movie around and plugged it into other places and it still wouldn't charge.

Sometimes I must adjust the position of the phone on the charging pad, but the flashing green light indicating charging is occurring appears immediately. The charger has never failed to work, and I was pleasantly surprised with the speed. After 6 months of use, I've been happy, and cannot imagine what a much more expensive charger would do for me.

If you don't have the charger completely flat, it will. This means your table or wherever you put it cannot have even a slight slope. It charges very slowly. Even after locating a perfectly level spot and lining it up correctly, it didn't charge adequately. Over a period of about 8 hours...it only charged around 40%. I feel like

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressively Thin and Simple to Use.The Belkin Boost Up Qi wireless charging pad is a almost flat square pad that will charge and Qi compatible phone in style. Just place the phone on the center of the pad and it charges. The LED light indicates charging has started.It works great on the iPhone but is a slow charger compared to Fast Charge pads for Android. To top off a 70% full phone battery the Belkin charger takes 1 hour and 4 minutes. The Fast Charger Pad will charge the same 70% full phone in minutes. If you are charging over night or have an iPhone choose the Belkin. If you need a quick charge for Android there are better products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good and Simple Wireless Charging PadSo I've tried many wireless charging pads and to say the least they are all tricky. You set your phone on the a millimeter off and no charge. Or you spend your time trying to find the charge. With the BOOST UP I had no such problem. I set my phone down and there it went charging it. Now I kept playing around with it and making sure I could literally just mindlessly set it down and boom charge. It did just that. Now is there any difference from other. No its the same electric current going to your phone, no fast charging but this works and if it has any problems then there are lights to tell you as such. Very user friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new wireless charger.

Will charge for about a minute then start flashing red , I then used my Samsung plug in and connected to it and it worked for about two weeks then started doing the same. Will charge for a minute then start flashing red and not charge. now the only way it will work is if its plugged into a usb port wall outlet. but you should not have to change out all your wall outlets in your house to make this thing work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not compatible with my casesMy wife and I both have iPhone X. Mine has a larger metal pad for a magnetic car mount and my wife has a smaller metal pad on the back of hers. Neither phone will charge on the Belkin charger. It is completely incompatible with phones that are set up for magnetic car mounts. I guess that's not a huge surprise considering the metal plate probably interferes with the inductive charging system, but it's a very big problem. The charger is going back. The mount is more valuable to us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don’t waste the moneyI’ve had this for like 3 months -ish, maybe more like 2. at the beginning it was pretty cool, and then it just stopped charging my phone in the middle of the night. At first it was every once in a while, now it’s a regular occurance. I just switched back to a normal charging cord. Do yourself the favor and save the money for the Apple one when it comes out (if you have an iPhone)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works just fineI've had this now for about two months charging a Motorola Droid Maxx and an S7 Edge overnight. Both charged through a case overnight to 100% in the morning. I have no idea how long it actually takes but it's always ready for me when I wake up. It does require being straight on the pad as described and I try to keep middle upper center on the device to the middle of the pad (i.e. align the top edge of the phone with the top of the pad and then leave the lower half hanging off) and it never fails to sense that it's there and starts charging (blinking green). I'd consider buying another one if it could be configured to incline for a stand up charger

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super fast charger!I replaced an old wireless charger (from the manufacturer of the phone) with this new Belkin charger. It is seriously twice as fast. I keep my swipe card for getting into the front door at my office in the back of my case, and the phone still charges with the swipe card partially in the way. It has a small light that comes on to let you know it is charging, and when your phone is at 100%, but it is not enough to light up a dark room or keep you awake at night. I like that it doesn't have any lights on while it is not charging. I tried it with my smartwatch and it charged that as well! This charger is versatile, fast, simple and looks great anywhere you put it.

I don't have a case on my phone and it is on a flat stable surface. I kept trying to move it to position it so the light stays green but it won't. Now there doesn't seem to be any lights at all... Frustrating.

All you have to do is drop it on the pad and go. Belkin continues to impress with their products. I’d definitely recommend to purchase.

It immediately began charging and the LED light on the pad illuminated and began blinking to indicate that the iPhone was charging. The pad is compatible with other wireless enabled devices too (as long as they are using the Qi standard). Overall, a simple design that functions as expected. Would recommend!

Now, it flashes red and it takes almost 15 changes of the alignment for the red light to change to green. I sometimes have to turn my phone off in order for the phone to charge. If it worked fine, then, after a month it changed.....something is wrong with this charger. Look at the other reviews....they all have a similar theme....after time this charger does not continue to perform the way it did out of the box. It may be time to go back to the drawing room! I love the idea of this charger....it just may not be technologically ready.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely slow charging with Galaxy s7I have had this device a little under 2 weeks. If I put the phone on charge at a low battery percentage, the charger is unable to completely charge the phone by morning. Last night, for example, I placed the phone on charge with 8% battery left at around 10:30PM. This morning at 7:30AM, the phone was at 36% battery. I thought, something may have went wrong in the night, but looking at the battery graph, the phone was constantly charging at a very slow pace. Another downside to this product is that there is a very narrow area where the phone has to be placed to get it to charge. I can't say whether this is a fault of the Belkin product or the phone. The bottom line is that the product is unable to charge a phone in a reasonable amount of time. 10 hours of charging for 28% battery life is not acceptable.
