Belkin Miracast Video Adapter - wireless video/audio extender - IEEE 802.11 is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok I brought 2 of these in December 2014, the first one I setup worked perfectly still having no problems and it was an easy setup really just plug and playOh but the second one wouldn't work at all on one of my sets and one the se it worked on it worked a little to hard. It would turn my set on all hours of the day and night, my wife thought we had a spirit it the house. Trying to get a replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from does what its expected to do worked on lumia 635 phone with shipped firmware v2.4applied v2.5 update based on other reviewer comments and did note that it took appx 20 mins for firmware file update to complete, versus documented 5-10 mins, which may have been a matter specific to my environmentcouldn't test with surface and ultrabook as they are both running windows 10 january technical preview which I expect is in flux wrt miracast display projection updatesdocumentation suggested I changing wireless access point [ap] to use 5GHz, if it was currently configured to use 2.4GHz, for best miracast results. seemed odd given miracast connection is supposed to be peer2peer and so it seems that may be how device decides what frequency to use on peer2peer connection. if so would rather configuration boot environment option for controlling that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Belkin Miracast adapter does not work well My experience with the Belkin Miracast adapter is similar to other poor reviews, initial setup and connection was super easy, both my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and Nokia Lumia 1520 connected quickly and the initial display quality was very good, audio and video sync was perfect, slight lag with mouse pointer but that is expected. However, after about 3-5 minutes, the display and audio starts to stutter, then freeze, then complete disconnect. I thought at first it could be the signal strength, so I moved my phone or tablet closer, sometimes as close as just one foot (30 cm), and then used the dongle extender, all to no avail. Perhaps as others pointed out, the dongle gets hot and this might be affecting its operation, not sure. Either way, the product is unusable, since myself and probably most people like to stay connected more than 3-5 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Belkin HDMI ireless Adapter in 30 Minutes or Less I used the "Wireless Display" Or Mirror Display to Hook up to and secure connections with Samsung 2 Galaxy' Samsung Note 4; Microsoft Surface Tablet; Microsoft Surface Tablet 2; Envizen 10.1 Android Tablet; Azpen 10.1 Android Tablet; Irulu 10.1 Andorid Tablet; and HP Pavilion DV4-1435DX and my main machine HP ENVY M7-J120DX. I forgot and the neighbors Motorola bottom of the line cell phone. ALL of this with HDMI 1 with the Belkin Wireless Adaper; HDMI Hard Wire to Desktop Unit; HDMI 3 the NEW Firestick from Amazon. I am physically challenged so all of these units and 24 TBS of Hard Drives are in one 6x8 space with a LG 60" 60mgz older 1080p LCD. ALL in 30 minutes one after the other. I am buying ones for my family right now as I had just bought them all mini HDMIs for the tablets I bought them for Christmas. BOOM! Go to the website. Follow the directions and enjoy the Belkin. It is the best in its class period!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for group presentations Running HDMI cables to my HDTV, and then removing them was a pain. Now that's gone. Now both my Android phone and my Dell tablet deliver bright HD images to viewers... with sound. One drawback: if you plan to watch streaming video via your smartphone or tablet, be aware there could be a lag. But I prefer to watch it via the TV itself, so it's not a problem for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update Belkin firmware Device works great with my Surface 2 RT, projecting is simple and it plays movies perfectly at 1920 x 1080. However when I first got the device I almost sent it back because it was not working. It came with firmware version 2.3 which does not support Windows 8.1. I had to upgrade to firmware 2.5.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Product I bought this product a while back and it never worked. I was hoping that with updates that they would work out the kinks. I just gave it a try again after updating to the latest 2.5 version of the firmware and it still doesn't work with my Surface Pro 2. Don't waste your money.
