Rated 5 out of 5 by from Charges fast! My wife has a Samsung S8+, and I have an iPhone X. The Boost Up pad works great with both. With the recent iOS 11.2 update, fast wireless charging is now supported for the iPhone X. Setup is brainless. Just plug in the cable and plug it in the wall. Depending on your phone, you may need to move it a little bit to get the charging coils aligned. The iPhone X is very forgiving in this respect. Once positioned correctly, a little green LED lights, and your phone is charging. It can't be any easier. A rubber ring on the pad keeps your device from sliding off. I don't like the wear and tear you get from repeatedly plugging in a cable to charge, so although it takes a little longer than using a wall charger, the convenience aspect is well worth it.

But my phones battery doesn’t seem to last as long with wireless charging than it does with the lightening cable. I don’t know if this is a flaw with all wireless chargers, my phone, or this specific product. Overall a good product and would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, missing one thing for me I really enjoy this charger and it works with my iPhone XS Max in a life proof case, unlike some other wireless chargers I’ve tried. Really the only downside to me is that there is only an ac adapted to wall outlet cord. I would love to have a cord with a usb so I can have more versatility with where I plug it in. For example my lamps on my end tables habe USB ports and I cannot plug it in there like my boyfriend can with his wireless charger.

Just laying the phone on it next to my bed gives me full access to the phone in the dark and a 100% charged phone to start my day. Never thought eliminating the charge cord would be so wonderful!!!

Simple to use, and charges quickly. No skid suffice helps too with the slippery iPhone X. I just purchased a case and it charges just as well.

I like the idea and it worked great until I put on the phone cover. then the Belkin charger stopped working. The user guides say it will power through up to 3mm thick phone covers, but it doesn't power through the cover I bought. This is unfortunate and in order for me to use it, I would have to peel the cover every time I need to charge, which negates the convenience of the charger. I'm back to using a power cord.

Charging stops, but it goes back green and then amber every few minutes. This is much too expensive to have these types of issues.

The wireless charging with Boost Up is a game changer for me! No need to plug my phone in the office between meetings. Boost Up is increasingly easy to set up (plug-in), then set it iPhone down and forget about cables! I am certainly getting another one for my kitchen! I haven’t had any problems in the month I’ve been using it. Although, I’m sure it gets plenty of use from my coworkers as well! I received this item free to review for my honest opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Charging Accessory! This, being my first induction charger I was a little apprehensive about it. However, like my other Belkin products, PowerAuthority II, circa 1999, and the UPS VA1100 circa 2005 (both of which are still in use). I have to say that this little charger does not disappoint. If it lasts a 10th as long as my other Belkin products, I will have gotten my money's worth. I am using it with my iPhone 8, which is in an iPhone case. I have had no problems with charging. Indeed, from experimenting, once a charge has started I can hold the iPhone about 1/4" above the charger with no ill effects to the charging. It would be interesting to try this Belkin charger with a thicker iPhone case. I suspect that it would also have no issues charging with that case. The only downside is it seems to take slightly longer to charge, when compared to a standard USB or adapter charger via cord. However, this may be because of the case. Other than that, It is an excellent charger and I would recommend it without a second thought. In conclusion, I love my Belkin Boost Up Qi charger!

It only has a wall charger when it needs to be an option for USB or wall charger that you can plug into the wall. If had that option you have more options where to plug it in at (i.e. laptop, pc, USB charger, or USB outlet)

It’s super easy to use and works just as advertised. I wish the charging indicator light was a little brighter but not a big deal. Only real gripe I have is that the charger uses a proprietary power cable instead of a usb connection. Just means one more cable to carry with me when I travel. If you keep the charger beside your bed or on the counter all the time, then no big deal... Overall i’d definitely reccomend this charge.

Easy to use, have it on my nightstand. but, one if you don't place it correctly and the green light doesn't come on, it won't charge. now for the last two nights, it sets my phone's time back 2 hours. So for instance, i thought i was getting up early, 5:46am, but when i went to my regular clock it was 7:46am. Two days in a row. Tonight i will used a standard charger to see if it can be possible that it is the phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Charges fast, reliably Ok, I've had this this new Belkin Boostup charger about 3 weeks and it's perfect match for the iPhone 8+ the phone stays connected to the charger while charging, the led glows green during charging, and stops glowing when charging in completed. It is very simple to use and operate; but you do have to be careful centering the phone on the pad, but it's "2yr old easy to do". I have a clear silicon case on my phone and it has no effect on the charging capaibilty. I've tried to time the length of time it takes this charger and charging via a 2a USB charger. And all I can say it hard to measure precisely. With this charger and a direct USB connection, the phone moves from somewhat empty (say 20-30% left) to 80% very quickly (in under 20 minutes), then it takes much longer to charge the remaining 20%. In my tests I'd say the Belking Boostup is SLIGHTLY faster than a USB connection, both went from ~30% to 100% in a little less than 2hrs (with iOS 11.2 installed - its said to improved wireless charging), Boostup hit the 80% mark in just under 30m and my iPhone 8+ showed 100% just after 100 minutes, but the charger's led did not go solid until 105 minutes. With the USB charger the phone showed 100% after 110 minutes. All and all I'm pleased, maybe even suprised by the overall performace, PS On a whim I tried charging my wife's Android phone, which she has in failrly thick wallet case (see picture). Much to my suprise when I got the phone properly centered, the phone displayed a "charging" ring on the screen for a for few seconds and it continued to charge. So for those wondering if the BoostUp will work with other Qi compatible phones, it does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice design, stable The Boost Up has a very clean design...looks like it was designed by Apple...even the power cord is sculpted instead of round...this keeps the design from being interrupted. I use it on my X. The X stays attached and doesn’t easily get bumped off.

My charger sits next to my bed and I place my iPhone X on it every night and have not had any problems whatsoever. I just set my phone down and go to sleep. The green light on top of the pad was a great idea so I can easily see it without having to try and look under my iPhone. The only thing I wish was different was the power adapter. The cable is fixed to it and it would be nice to have extra flexibility if it were USB-C on the adapter end so it could be removable, but it's not a too big of a deal since I haven't had any problems. All-in-all, this is a great companion for your iPhone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works just like it should! I bough this at the Apple store with some reservations over the reviews. I have had no problems whatsoever with my iPhone 8 Plus. It works great with a this case or without. One of the best features is the "magnet" (or whatever it is) that holds the phone in place (make sure that it is centered appropriately). The phone will not vibrate off of the charging pad when it rings while on the pad. My iPhone 8 vibrated itself off my nightstand (without a cover on) before I got the charging pad, so I was a little nervous, but no problems at all. Yes, you do need to take a bit of care to place the 8plus on the pad because it will charge in the majority of positions, but not all, so a little bit of care is needed. I don't have an 8 so I am not sure if the smaller phone does not have the same issue. Charges fast and easy. (Note: some people will balk because it has its own cord that needs to be plugged into an outlet and not just a USB to plug into a charging block or your own wall charger; that was not enough for me to take a star away, but it may be a deal breaker for some)

THIS COMPANY SUCKS I have never had something work so terribly and inneffect before and if that wasn't enough this is my second time asking for a replacement and yeah I'm being stingy about not wanting to pay 14 dollars for shipping just for it to stop working a month later. However, I am impressed with the charging speed and quick response the green light popped on to show me it was charging. The light is greatly beneficial without having to check the phone screen. The lower profile and gripping surface ensures the phone is secure.

And there is no substantial difference between plugging your phone in to an old-style charger or plugging in the wireless charger to an outlet and then putting your phone on top of it.

Due to the slant of the charger I have been unable to keep my phone on it without placing something next to it to keep the phone from sliding to the floor. Very disappointing !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Awesome. So I just got to bust this out today since its Xmas! Finally got my iphone8 plus in. So from a charging standpoint, it's about 0.3% battery life a min. I started around 9:14pm with 28%, now i'm at 60% at 10:43pm. It does get a bit warm while its on there but its expected due to the conduction element and not something i'm worried about. I'm using a thin plastic case on it currently and it's charging fine. I haven't tried it naked, which I'm no going to try as I'm not expecting to use it ever in that way. If i recall based on other products and reviews, the charge speed is on par with everything out there. I've seen coworkers have this on their desk and it's a great addition to office space if you are allowed to have your phone out. Nothing easier than plugging it in and setting it on the plate. One issue i have would be the short power cable. Doesn't seem like it allows for much choice in placing if you have plug distance restrictions. The Charging pad out of the box is like any belkin product. Packaging is sleek and the charger feels sturdy for sure.

I’ve had it for 2ish weeks now and I’ve had non stop problems getting it to charge. I have to move it around multiple times and all over for it to get charging. There have been a few time where the charger doesn’t even charge my phone. It could be a 5 start of it only would actually charge it every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Charger, Not My Favorite Full disclosure: I was sent this product to review it. Since I purchased my iPhone 8 Plus I have also purchased a few different wireless charging devices. Overall I like the Boost Up, but I've found that there's just a few things that could be better. The size and weight of the charger is great, but it can also be a weakness at times. I have other chargers whose widths only slightly differ from my phone's width and have never had an issue with placing my phone on them and it not being lined up well enough to charge. I know I need to line my phone up with the rubber ring in the center of the Boost Up, but I don't always do that. If I'm not paying attention to if the LED lights up, I might think my phone is charging when it isn't. Over time I've gotten used to how my phone needs to be placed and now I place it correctly about 99% of the time. This was frustrating at first. The size and shape of the Boost Up does make it so I can still use my phone, but it is not the most convenient charger I've found. It's a little awkward, but I can still access/press the home button and use the phone normally. I've found another charger that charges the phone in an upright/standing position. That is currently my favorite charger because it is the best way to wirelessly charge the phone while it is still easily usable. One of my favorite features of qi charging is that the charges turn off and stop charging your phone when it is fully charged. This was the second shortcoming I found with the Boost Up. According to the FAQ, the Boost Up will stop charging when the phone is fully charged. I purposely left my iPhone on the charger to see if this would happen. A half hour after the phone displayed 100% charge, the charging LED was still lit and the "charging" indicator was still on on the iPhone. I know the iPhone goes down to a trickle charge when it reaches around 99%, but it still felt like half an hour should have been enough time to kick over to standby. Overall this is a good charger. It works well and looks nice. There are many options out there, just make sure to get a charger that meets your needs.

How exactly is it wireless if the station actually has to always be plugged in ? There's no difference from the regular charger !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Product from Belkin... This is another great product from Belkin. Overall, this is a great product with a solid build, great performance, and looks great. Is this product built well and will last? Yes, this is another well-built product from Belkin. How is the performance compared to other products? It works as well or better than my other wireless charging products. I have never had an issue with charging with this product. How does it look? In regards to aesthetics, it's tough to move away from this form factor, but it's a nice slim, low-footprint product. I like how Belkin keeps their products consistent in designs and at times follows the Apple-esque designs. My only issue with this product, but I can see why they did this, is that it only has a single power source through an AC adapter. I'm not a design engineer, but I can why this may be an issue, as some USB connections may not hold the optimal/proper power to quick charge with this product. I could be wrong, but if they can figure this out, this would also be a great portable device I could throw in my computer bag and even plug into a battery pack. That being said, I can't give this product a hit for it, as most other competing products do not have this feature. That being said, I would recommend this product.

If I had to complain about anything it would be the "comparably" large power supply, I was hoping that it would have a USB conector but I do like the charging speed so is an OK tradeoff

I have to readjust my phone about 5 times before it even starts charging no matter where I put the phone each night and then when it says it’s charging I’ll go to sleep and wake up 12 hours later and it’s no longer charging and the battery is only at 30%. EVERY NIGHT. It’s like it gives up charging halfway through.

The two obstacles that I find: the green light does not go off automatically at 100% charged or a light of a different color does not indicate when fully charged.

Designed, and Executed. Charges reliably and the LED on the pad lights up to show you it’s charging. The only thing that would make it perfect is if it tilted up to allow upright as well as flat charging, but I don’t see that as a big deal. No regrets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Causing issue with iPhone XR Its very bad!!.. my iPhone XR was working good before this purchase of wireless charger, it has been 15 days I bought this charger in Dell Online, I can see my phone battery starting causing serious issues. After a full charging and once the phone battery degrades to less than 20%, my phone suddenly shutdowns and when I connect the charger to phone again, phone reboots on its own for multiple times and starts charging. I seriously think this is just because of wireless charging. Very disappointed.

This way u don’t have broken cords from bending while charging and using your phone. I decided to give it a try and I am so glad that I did. The Charging Pad is so easy to use. Also, what I really like is that the full charge seems to be lasting longer than a full charge using the lightning connector. Excellent product Belkin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good wireless charger! Upon opening the box, I was greeted with a “apple-esque” white wireless charger. The cable fit flush in the back side and has a 5 foot reach. (Longer than the apple included cable) The charger’s surface had a bit of a rubbery feel to it which keeps the phone from sliding around. No matter how I have placed it down on the charger it activates the charger. I’m excited to not have scratches at the bottom of the phone from missing the plug. This wireless charger will also charge your compatible android phones that have wireless capabilities.

I was concerned that it might not work with my HitCase Pro Case but it works perfectly. I just lay the phone down on the charger and "Bling" it starts charging immediately. I have it placed on a shelf in my office and it's great not to have to deal with plugging and unplugging charging cables.

The pad was protected well within the box and all the components were stored away in a separate compartment. After removing the pad I was first impressed at how rounded The device truly is. The pad itself is lightweight and the top and bottom feature a rubber material which deters the pad from sliding, or your device sliding off. The pad is perfectly sized to easily rest your iPhone at the correct angle. It’s evident that Belkin worked with Apple to design a product that works seamlessly with your iPhone 8, 8+, or X. while charging my iPhone X I could tell that the pad charged it quicker than I thought it would, and the green LED made it clear that there was a positive connection between the pad and my phone. While charging I kept checking to see if either the phone or pad got warm to the touch, and was amazed to see that neither my phone or pad heated at all; they were cool to the touch! Also, I was worried that I may not get a connection through my case, which is rather thick considering it is an otterbox, but Was delighted and impressed that there were no issues and the pad was charging my phone through my case! Just like all Belkin products I’ve gotten so far, this one has surpassed my expectations. If you’re In the market for a high quality charging pad, then look no further; purchase the Belkin boost up.

Can't change it because it's proprietary - why not just use a standard USB charger?? Also when putting the iPhone 8 (with Apple leather cover) on then it charges (of course), but then after X minutes suddenly a new charging sound comes from the iPhone as if I had just put it there. Then some minutes after again and again and... Like the iPhone is constantly loosing contact with the charger and the connects to it again. Over and over again. It was also expensive but I thought Belkin to be good quality. Wish I had never bought it :-(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Camper with my Belkin Boost Up Charging pad I purchased the Belkin wireless charger when i purchased my iPhone X about 10 months ago and have had nothing but perfect charging every time i lay the iPhone on the charger. i am 100% satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend this charger to anyone who buys the newer i Phones.. i had several chargers in mind when purchasing the iPhone X but was persuaded by the associate who sold me the iPhone X to add the Belkin Boost Up as an add on..I highly recommend it to anyone.. lastly the Charging pad charges my iPhone very fast.. From 5% charge to 100% in less than 40 minutes.

This makes the charger stable and will prevent it from slipping off slick surfaces. The same material is in the form of a ring on the top which also helps stabilize your phone from slipping off the charger accidentally. The boost up look is pretty cool And it reminds me of a flying saucer. My phone charge is very fast . Stop looking as this is the best most convenient charger on the market.

I have this charger for few days now and i have done few tests to see how fast this charges is. My phone is in a really thin rubber material case. i had that phone on the charger for 4 hours and it charged from 35% to 83%. Meanwhile on a regular charger my phone would fully charge from low to Full in 2-3 hrs. This charger is not strong enough to rapidly charge the phone

It's so much easier than plugging my phone in and it charges really fast. Just like it was easy to get used to not having a home button on the iPhone X, it was easy to get used to simply setting my phone down on the dock. I like swipe feature of the X and the Belkin Boost Wireless Charging Pad makes life even simpler.

Come on, how hard is it set your phone down on a charger, and see the green light. If light does not come on green, then reposition your phone until it does. Doesn’t take a rocket surgeon or brain scientist to do. A five year fan figure this one out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good charger It is a well done charger, but a little expensive. No issues using it with my Iphone X. Full charge fron 10% battery wil take about 3-4 hours. I assume that is the best option for IOS since the maximum supported power is 7.5W. It should have an USB wall charger (and a lightning or micro usb port)

It takes to long to charge my phone and if you do not place phone "just so" it will not charge at all. Nothing worse then setting your phone down to charge and realizing it never charged at all. Also phone gets very hot while charging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 'Wireless' Charger is Misleading Only con, but it's a big one, is the 'wireless' charge pad requires it be plugged into a power outlet to work, so it in effect is a corded charging pad that will charge your phone when phone is laid on the 'plugged in' charging pad. If you could plug in the charging pad to get a full charge on it then unplug it to be an actual wireless charging pad for devices, it would be a worthwhile product, but as it is, it's the same as plugging your phone into the side of your laptop for a charge vs. directly into a power outlet via cord, except you can actually charge your phone by plugging it into a laptop that's not plugged in if that laptop has a charge. This is a corded charging pad.

It is easy, available, and ready to go when I am. No longer do I have to remember to charge, find the cord, or even where I put my phone. Chargers should charge and this one does quickly with no fuss.

One of them is bulky(5mm).I tried it with magnetic car plate that you stick on the case and surprisingly worked! Its just perfect for my need, charging speed that takes around 2 & half hours (20% in 30 min). Output: 15V/1.5A. Officially support 7.5W fast charging upgrade (Via software upgrade from Apple; iOS 11.2). Its simply convenient when you need to charge it overnight. Love the tiny green indicator that doesn’t disturb my eyes at night. Apple only support Belkin and another company, that made me feel safe using Belkin Qi charger as its recommended by Apple. Operation is simple, just (center) the iphone on top of it, will not slip because of the nice soft rubber ring on top, with additional rubber pad on the base to keep the charger from sliding. Honestly i dont see any downside so far, as Belkin accessories have always worked for my other Apple devices. Enough to say no more fumbling around in the dark trying to locate a tiny lightning cord. Summary: It works with any Qi certified device. Approved by (Apple) to boost SAFELY 7.5W; Temperature control, surge protection, short-circuit prevention and more protect you and your expensive iphone..36 Months warranty when registered online.No plug or connector to wear out. Couldnt expect more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BROKEN AFTER 3 MONTHS! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I have one that is less than 3 months old, and is now broken, for now apparent reason whatsoever. Literally plugged it in to my wall, and used it every night, than out of no where it just stopped working, for no reason. I was not rough with it or anything, it just sat there plugged in, in the same spot for 3 months and just died for no reason. This product is a piece of garbage and I would not recommend it to anyone. Worst thing is, is that I assumed it wasn't a piece of trash, so I threw out the box without registering it, so I can't even use the warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutting Edge for Apple - FUN I recently upgraded to an iPhone 8 Plus from my 5-year-old iPhone 5. I was wondering why the big deal about wireless charging. When I was talking to Apple support on a set up question, the technical person gave me a several good reasons that wireless charging was such a plus - first is convenience - can pick up the phone to use it while it's charging and then put back on the base - then it reduces the use of the lightening connector. While some people don't keep their phones for a long time, I do, and I was having issues with the lightening connector and having to make sure it was in at the "right angle" to charge. This base is easy to us and the green light gives you a visual confirmation that the phone is being charged as needed.

Later, and orange LED lights up and my phone stops charging. I cannot get a 100% charge. Bug in Belling wireless charger or Apple iOS 11.

The sweet spot is a bit tough to land (I woke up in the morning multiple times with a dead phone and no charge), but once you get it, it's just fine. Biggest complaint: The white surface has a brown spot below the Belkin logo from where I think the charging piece is located. It's almost resembles a small burn mark. It makes the accessory look pretty cheap and I've only owned this charger for about a two months. I'm not sure if others run into this issue, but it should be known. (screenshot attached)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use but takes forever to charge IPhone XR I bought this as a recommendation from a fellow shopper when I upgraded my phone. I place it on, lights up green, yet is the slowest charger I’ve ever used. It can be on all day or night and only go up 45-50%. I recently decided to give it another go around, and sometimes without moving, the light goes off or changes to orange. Maybe the magnet for the car holder can be the reason for slow/no charge, but handheld car access is more valuable than this charger. Sticking with a classic plug in charger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works great! It has been working great since I have used the BOOST UP battery from Belkin. The only issue I do have is that I the cord is a little sensitive. Sometimes it will charge my battery and then not charge, but repeatedly over. It has only happened once so I cannot say for sure that's it Belkin. I love the color white, so I am pleased to be using this product. It has a really cool, upbeat and modern model. This is unlike anything else I have seen before. I really think this BOOST UP battery from Belkin is quite neat.
