My favorite thing about Avery is that their website has everything you need to help you print and create what you want with the labels. Because I use them for work purposes, I need something that can be done quickly and the Avery labels are easy to use. We also use the Avery #5161 labels. They work like a charm for our customer bags and folders! On my own time I have also used the Avery Fabric Transfer paper, Report Covers, Divider Tabs and plastic sheet covers. I've never once been disappointed. Thumbs Up, Avery!

I utilize this product by keeping preprinted address labels on hand for my use and that of my boss. This way all he has to do is go to my file pull out a pre printed label and it saves him time if I am unavailable to assist him. This works well when you have regular mailings to 5 or 6 companies. Keeps things just a little simplier in my busy work life.

They work really well when printing because the text is ALWAYS ALIGNED with the labels and they never print over the edge - so I never have to worry about wasting any labels. The labels stay adhered well and the bright white color ensures that the text is crisp and clear to read. When the artwork is displayed at school, the labels give the art a polished look like art in an art gallery or museum.

The 5163 labels are perfect for report covers titles. Gone are the days when I have to take time to peel off old labels or white them out so they didn't show through under my new labels. Not only is it the perfect shipping label for any size box or package - providing a easily seen target for the postal folks - but it serves the following size purposes... We use it to print our invoice coding labels. Our team created the coding information on the label (which can be printed or copied because we use so many). We have a template that fits perfectly for the label. By creating our own, the company saves a lot of money by not having the labels printed custom at a print shop.

Today I'm printing Labels for Goody Bags for a Golf Tournament. The thing I like is that they really do cover the previous shipping information, and in our case, we absolutely have to cover up old shipping information. I work in a domestic violence shelter and when we send letters or packages back, we do not want them to be returned, so we really need that previous shipping information covered up.

I create color designs for presentation folders and print them on these labels. They are a great size, so your design shows up really well. They print beautifully, are so easy to apply and stay put; you don't have to worry about them shifting or peeling at the corners. I love that they are so versatile and allow me to be really creative.

There are lots of great templates available and these labels work with Microsoft Publisher, too. They are the perfect size so that it doesn't detract from the title page, but still gave me enough room for my personal information and a cute graphic. Now I don't have to worry about my books I lend to friends not coming back to me.

When you ship out something, it is important that you can personalize the label and present your business well. We print on the labels and they dry fast. We like the size and cost also and have not had a label removed in the mailing. We have labels for organization in our file system and sales notebooks.We use the labels in a vast number of ways in labeling products we sell with our call back information. Pictured here, we saw your labels being used at our recent Valentine's dinner by a local University. The use of labels with the dinning party's name, reserved the table and make the event all the more special for us. Your labels have always set the standard of the HIGHEST QUALITY. Instead of printing them on paper and having to glue them on, I gave him labels to print the images. He was able to peel and stick the images where he wanted with no glue or rubber cement mess. Also, the labels prevented the edges from rolling, which sometimes happens with glued paper. This made his project much easier and neater!

We save the information on our copier and run the labels as requested. This keeps us from having to print them commercially and encountering useless labels if any information changes. Printer jams with online discount labels simply are not worth the time and cost of lost time to resolve. I have never had a jam with Avery labels.

I would make a database of my students info and simply select which information I wanted to include on the label. I used them to label folders, bins, and badges. They were great. I always kept a box of them in my bottom draw. In all the years I used Avery products, I only had one problem with printing their labels, and Avery put things right when I contacted them. Great products, great company!

While we may pinch our pennies on some items, I will not buy anything but Avery shipping labels for my mailing needs! They are extremely easy to use, the template available is true to the product and I never have to re-print due to mis-alignment.

I used the online templates and rendering and was able to easily add a graphic to the label so my postcard had a product example on the back as well as the front. At least that is how it was supposed to work! You guessed it. Folks simply discarded them. Until we started printing up these wonderful 2 X 4 inch labels with instructions to "Use liberally" and "When this bottle nears empty please return it for refilling. We'll give you a full one!"

I have created two different labels, one without return address for when I use our company stationary, and another with a return address for when I have to use a slightly bigger envelope. I use Publisher to create my labels and I love that the software has a big selection of templates I can use for this label size.

I am able to format my labels as desired, and print with ink that does not smudge. Yes, you cannot see behind the label. While these are very easy to use, however, I would not recommend using them for just one or two labels at a time because putting the sheet through the printer over and over creates a gray hue on the labels themselves. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible Printing I have never had so much trouble with Avery labels....I use these to print color labels and the print rubs off so bad you can hardly read it...also, the least bit of humidity and they curl off. Hopefully the new ones I ordered will be the "old" kind. Very annoying when you have to keep rubbing the labels back on and every time you do, more ink comes off on your hand.

I have to create labels individually sometimes and this makes it so nice and professional looking on the mailings. I just keep a template on my desktop and use it whenever I need to. These labels also feed through the printer very nice and I haven't had any problems with them getting stuck or jammed. I totally recommend using this label for any type of mailing projects.

Whenever we go to a Dr or medical facility & have to fill out forms, I just peel off and attach on the form. I also use the label to put all surgeries with dates, etc. and do the same. Leave the paper backing on and always carry a couple in your purse or wallet!

I like the fact that you can put them over a previous address label and nothing shows through. This last time i ordered I got a package of "SURE FEED". I'm not sure how long that has been around, but OH MY GOODNESS! It's made my favorite label even better. I just ran a whole package through my little brother printer, and not one single misfeed! I'm amazed! Also these labels do not curl up, or lift while going through the pinter. I will never buy a different brand of shipping label.

The labels worked GREAT! We were able to cover up the original print and you couldn't even tell there was anything underneath. Will use this product in the future.

I noticed a review by someone using a laser printer - some of them do leave a gray coating on the labels which gets darker with each feed. Inkjets do not do that but the ink can run if your label gets wet. Does anyone have solutions regarding the 'graying' of the labels with repeat sheet feeds?

They are perfect for mailing packages, large envelops, labeling large items...if you can think of it, you can use these labels for it! As I read in one of these comments though, if the same sheet is used for one or two each time, the labels gradually darken to a grayish color. Other than that, they are excellent!

When sending packages or letters for business they are simple to set up and print. My favorite use for them though is for my children - a great way to make personalized gift stickers or labels for school items! I highly recommend these labels.

When preparing travel documents for the director I regularly place all pertinent trip documents in a red folder and affix one of these labels with the travelers name, destination, meeting name/purpose, and dates of travel to the front of the folder. This label is the perfect size to accommodate all the information in large text and provides a clean look to the trip file. The label is thick enough that if I recycle trip folders I can place a new label over the top of the original and it still looks great.

Great product, prints well and easy to use. I would highly recommend this product. I also use it for other creative ideas like labeling different totes for my pantry, and bathroom closets. Shoes that I store in their orginal boxes so I know which shoes to pull to match my daily outfits. There are many things and ideas that these labels can be used for.

I use them to label my demonstration products, as well as create labels for the jams and sauces I can at home. If you print them using a laser printer, they will stay on practically forever--nothing smears them, and they stay on perfectly.

The templates are easy to set up on my laptop, I can drop in clip art or a photo, and projects instantly look more professional. Shipping labels are great for naming clear plastic containers. I print the labels, stick them to an index card, then tape the index card inside the plastic container with the text reading out. The tape peels off easily if I need to re-use the container for something else. Then I print another label, put it over the old one, and it's good to go!

My office is big on reusing boxes so I used to try and scratch off old shipping labels so I could add a new label (because labels we had in the office you could still see part of the old label). Now I just put this Avery TrueBlock label over the old label without trying to scratch it off! It works great, no see through! And yeah! my nails are saved!

At first, I tried other brands and products but these are very easy to run through my inkjet printer and the cutouts on the label backing makes them easy to remove from the page. Printed labels make correct shipments easier and you can utilize bar-coding for even faster service. It eliminates the need tor having to tape your paper labels on the your packages. I often mail out packages in bubble envelopes that have already been used. These labels will cover any kind of print or writing underneath and they are large enough to cover the area and make the address very visible. I use bold 15-point type and feel confident that the To address is clear. The label sticks so well that I don't have to cover it with a separate piece of tape. And I like only having 10 on each page because I usually only print 1-2 at a time and my printer will leave streaks after several uses. With only having 10 per page, there are never any streaks. I expect to be using these for a long time.

TrueBlock Technology is great, but the only color printer in my office won't accept these labels. My printer is new (HP CP6015dn) and I've tried all of the various paper settings and trays.

Your computer is preset with the product number. they load into any printer with ease. these labels can be used for almost anything. I do a lot of crafts. I like to use these to label my items. I like to do little joke bags at christmas with a poem typed right on the label. I put the item in the bag and put a label on it. Easy!

Sometimes it makes more sense to cover up the old labels on a file folder than to replace the folder if it's still in good condition, and the size and opacity of these do a great job at covering up the old labels. They're also great for visibility as you can print a large block of text in the center (for files that need attention). I've found that these also hold up well when mailing internationally. Sometimes overseas addresses are much longer than addresses in the US, and you can't use a smaller label.

Labels have the amazing ability to organize you and keep you organized. I use labels for so much. I use the archiving labels (2 to a sheet and go on the file box) and template which allows me to indicate date, contents and eventual destruction if required. The fact that they can be printed on virtually any printer creates a very professional appearance no matter what is being labelled. You can change the fonts, add little pictures; anything is capable with imagination. Avery also makes the label process so user friendly, anyone can follow the steps and create awesome labels for years to come. I also use labels around my home; my home computer for quick reference; for my own filing system, the list goes on.

I printed the information on the shipping labels and attached to the post cards. Much faster than hand writing and I was able to put all the necessary information on the shipping label.
