This AT&T TR1909 Trimline with caller ID/call waiting can be used either in tabletop or wall installation position. The telephone can still operate with limited features when there are no batteries installed.

The TR1909 also features a 13-number memory for fast dialing and has a call log which can store up to 80 additional numbers with names. This telephone has a caller ID feature which supports caller ID with call waiting service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I worked for years in the Telecom industry as a competitor to AT&T and have fairly extensive knowledge of the AT&T Network Central Offices and product offering. The Fiber Broadband Bundle that AT&T offers is a great product. You are able to combine voice and data, with your choice of handoffs SIP, Analog, or TDM PRI all delivered by a true end to end Fiber product. The fiber network is extremely reliable with very low latency. The disadvantage is any time you wish to increase your speed a new router must be shipped to you and your voice services must be moved to the new router, this is treated as a new order, they will turn up a new port on the CPE to connect the router to and provision accordingly. This is a multi week / moth process. So no quick adjustments. The oly way around this is to order a higher speed Access Port and pay for it, while paying for less internet bandwidth. In my eyes this seems a little archaic.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from If you can negotiate a better price, go with Charter fiber. At least in the midwest you are better off avoiding AT&T because of their poor peering choices. We have seen a peering issue 3 months in a row, impacting 3 different service providers which are critical to our business needs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frequent drops in connection, yet decent performance when it's working as it's intended to do. However, those frequent drops happen about 3-4 times a day. Can be frustrating when I'm in the middle of gaming.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have learned how to get excellent support from AT&T. Just become authorized on a corporate account that has many, many cell phones, tablets, and other internet devices. I have also discovered how to learn to accept the “less then Verizon” coverage; simply have your cell phone on the corporate account. Now knowing what they are capable of accomplishing, overall, I think AT&T has the potential to overcome the negative view of them and their services.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I had AT&T personally for about two years, a few years ago. Didn't have any major problems. I also have them at my current employer and it has been reliable, but it isn't our primary connection. We usually aren't able to get a decent deal compared to competitors for speed.
