Wireless Router
The main reason I bought this router (AX6000) dual Band Gigabit Router was that, I was looking for a router that will enable me to connect external USB hard drives of which in turn will I may be able to save my important data to those hard drives and retrieve those data from within my local Network. I was able to connect 4X4TB to the router's USB port via 3.0 USB Hub but the bad news was that this Router Model couldn't read recognize any of the external Had Drives that I connected
I worked the Asus Technical Supports for couple of days both the Level 1 and Level 2 but it was to no avail. Therefore I had not choice but to return the product for a refund. I used the refund money and purchase a competitor router but never had any issue in connecting my 4X4TB external USB drives.
Therefore in regards to rating this router, I think it deserves 5 stars especially when it comes to 1) setups: very easy to setup. 2) The QOS: I like the design of the QOS. It has the best in market. 3) Anti-Virus: it is great! I will give 2 thumps up I will recommend it to anybody. 4) Range: If you're looking for wireless with a wide range, this is the router. and finally but not the least 6) The Looks: This router looks very sharp.
I gave it 4 stars because it did not serve or meet my requirement or my purpose, and the Tech Support did all they could, but as I said earlier it was to NO Avail.

No issues
No issues at all. Love the 8 port rear for all the extra stuff I use it for. Software always works and never gave issues.

Great for Streaming and Working from Home
This router replaces a Linksys purchased earlier in the year that had problems with the WAN port staying connected. After working from home since March, I needed a router that would stay connected with no problems and not need to be rebooted 2-3 times per week because the WAN port dropped the connection to the modem. I also like the automated band steering and the ability to have the router powercycle on a schedule. I have mine set to powercycle weekly just to clear out any stray bits and bytes that could cause an issue.
If you just need a solid router for streaming and working from home this one will fit the bill without breaking the bank!

This is one great router from Asus. I use their motherboards and they never seem to let me down. Set up was easy and navigation within the router is pretty easy to do. I have some cameras and set them to assigned ip's and it really works. I had a competitors router and would not hold any of the settings you put in. This is my first Asus router and I think this is all I will buy in the future. A great purchase you won't regret.

this is one of the worst products
this is most likely the worst thing i ever had the displeasure of using. I was ready to either return it or throw it in the river. I was finally to get it to work. I am a rather experiance user , mac since the 128k mac. I would discourage anyone from buying a product from you.

Excellent ,Speed Response,and Wi Fi 6 Features
"I bought two of these Router's and they are,the best Routers I have ever experienced,so far....They were worth the investment to improve my 8600 square ft property,being that I refurbish and redo ,Laptops, and Notebooks and build desktops as well.""With all of the features for gaming and,the WiFi 6 ,it does improve the 5G signal better than conventional for speed for streaming,like Asus claimed.....For a serious well budgeted,router that serves it's well developed purpose, the mesh system is the best, especially if you do like I dId and bought two of the same router and merged the signal and Asus makes that an easy chore,no more finding IP addresses and static ip's to merge the same network,you "ROCK. Asus'......I recommend this router highly"To bad that Asus didn't include turning off the router,by the app that is developed for your phone,that included in their software to keep you from having to go to the router to turn it off to reset the signal,in your network,the software in the phone lets you do,when resetting the main router that is hooked to your modem" Also keeps you from manually doing the resetting from the router'"That's the only feature that is missing,from this Router...."Other than that this a excellent router".......

Great performance
I've used this router for some light home usage but deployed this for some wireless gaming on an Xbox and a laptop. Performance was outstanding for my needs device was easy to setup.

Never had an issue
I have the ISP modem running to it, and then to two switches that go to everything else. I have never had a speed or connectivity issue hardlined, or on either band.
The interface accommodated everything I wanted to do, and was easy to use.
