I love the design, slim, holds my iPad in almost any position or flat and I can remove the keyboard... LOVE IT!! The first one finally broke (at the hinges) after nearly 2 years of use. Feels well protected, very happy with this product.

Did a warranty claim but we have to pay for shipping to replace one broken when we got it. Not happy at all. Awaiting new one to see if it shipped broken too.

Here’s what I like: full corner protection, a place to securely store the pencil, extra width allows a better grip when using the tablet, stand allows much greater control of viewing angle (especially helpful when making FaceTime calls).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deceptive Photos Be very sure you are ordering what you need, and don't rely on the photos to be accurate. I ordered the Gen. 3 because I honestly thought my iPad was a Gen. 3, and when that option was selected, the photos matched. What I received did not fit my iPad, so I contacted customer service. The service rep sent me a shipping label to return the incorrect device and said it will be refunded when it is received back to them, and then I had to place an order with her for the correct one, which was more expensive. That's fine, the more expensive one was the one I needed, no problem on that, but I asked if we could maybe meet in the middle (one was $30, the other was $50, I was asking for it to be $40). She said no, that the best she could offer was 10% off ($5 off) and upgrade the shipping. I asked if I could talk to a supervisor and she said that would do no good, "no one can touch the pricing, Zagg won't let them". I did receive the correct case the other day, and it is fine, but it doesn't cover the camera area, and the instruction booklet makes it read like a charging cord comes with, but it does not. We've been loyal Zagg customers for years, but I think it's time for us to find another company...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some good, some less good I will preface this with the fact that I have and love the Rugged Book Go. However, the hinge broke after a year, and the Slim Book Go was on sale, so I took a chance on it. Pros: I love the case part on the Slim Book Go more than the Rugged Book Go. It is more protective and feels easier to insert. Cons: The keyboard is not nearly as nice as the Rugged Book Go. Rugged Book Go attaches in a better way and rests at an incline which makes for better typing experience (more ergonomic). The Slim Book Go keyboard sits flat, and the magnets that attach it are too weak. I do not like the feel of typing on it. Conclusion: I like the top case for standalone use. I ultimately just bought another case because the keyboard is annoying. I would recommend the Rugged Book Go over the Slim Book Go. If they could take the keyboard from the Rugged Book Go and pair it with the case part of the Slim Book Go--that would be perfection.

I ordered a replacement and the one they sent me is more broken than mine!! Almost a $200CAD case for it to break this quickly and then send me a broken one? not happy at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super produit Le clavier est arrivé très vite chez moi, la compagnie qui s’est occupée de la livraison était très pro je me suis trompée d’adresse ils m’ont contacté par téléphone pour la modifier. Le colis était très bien emballer vraiment top. Pour ce qui est du clavier il est vraiment bien, toutes les fonctionnalités sont présentes, voire même plus je trouve qu’il est sous-estimé par la marque ! Il est indiqué que la coque peut prendre seulement une position mais non, vous pouvez incliner la tablette comme vous voulez (jusqu’à un angle possible) et elle tient très bien, vous pouvez utiliser l’Apple pencil avec, la tablette vacille seulement un peu. Le creux dans la coque pour mettre l’Apple pencil ne le charge pas, mais il y a un espace exprès sur la coque là où le stylet doit charger, tout est bien pensé ! Attention en revanche j’ai eu des difficultés a insérer l’IPad dans la coque tellement la coque est rigide et épaisse, mais cela signifie que ma tablette est bien protégée ! Le clavier seul est extrêmement léger mais la coque sur l’IPad est excessivement lourde j’ai été surprise en le recevant, mais c’est le seul bémol que j’ai trouvé sur ce produit. Le clavier a un super design, tellement que lorsque que je l’utilise j’ai tendance à mettre mon doigt pour bouger la souris sur le pad alors qu’il y en a pas ! Je ne peux que vous recommander ce clavier il est super il se connecte très facilement mais le seul problème c’est qu’il pèse très lourd .

In combination with a gorilla glass screen protection it’s very resistant, durable and offers real protection for your device. The only negativ thing I observed is, that the keyboard which is attached with a magnet, can not be locked and might go off even if you don’t want it to. I am also not quiet sure how the magnet will behave over time!? Since it’s a magnet, it might loose its strength and the keyboard might flip of even easier (unwanted). Maybe a lock function would solve this issue in the next product generation. But so far I am really happy with it.

I love the stand (can use at many angles and strong), and that the keyboard is removable (great for video conferences and to use as a regular writing pad with the Apple Pencil). I preferred this over the rugged one. It does not have a mouse, but I got a small wireless one, which I love. I hate apple’s cover for the iPad (expensive, can’t use flat with Apple Pencil). There is no downside to this. I have had it for 3 months and charged it once. Great buy.

I have demonstrated the protection of the ipad this offers to clients at work. I drop a 10" ipad air on it's corner from about 6 feet. It bounces....nothing damaged on the ipad. I've done this at least 20 times. Zero problems with the ipad. This device changed my relationship with the ipad. This is a must have compliment to the iPad for anyone who: -Types in a dark environment. (it's backlit) -Knows how to type.(more productive as you don't have to use apples on screen keyboard. - Has limited space for keyboard and ipad. -This device splits allowing you to put the ipad on a shelf and type anywhere within blue tooth range. One of my favorite features. If you're looking for a type surface, yes....apple's is spill proof.....get a camelback......this is what you want. Mine's missing the charging cable, but knowing the quality company Zagg is, I'm sure they'll send me one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not the best design I’ve been waiting for Zagg to release a case for my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9” since I purchased it. I saw this one and was so excited to get it until it came. The design is horrible. My husband also has a 12.9” iPad that is older and has a keyboard case that is a much better design. On his the keyboard flap folds in half leaving only the keyboard reducing the footprint of the iPad with the stand flap engaged where the Zagg Slim Book Go does not. I have found it impossible to use the case with the keyboard attached to the iPad while using a lap desk (which is where I use it 90% of the time). I’d love to return it but I think my time to do so has passed. I love Zagg products, but this one misses the mark, BIG TIME.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It'll do I wasn't so impressed with the case based on the price point. It's not an automatic magnetic connection it has to be forced in. Also, there is a lip on one side that's to protect the apple pencil when it's connected to the iPad and everything is closed up- but it feels like it's going to break easily if the apple pencil isn't in there. Also, the holder for the pencil that was made into the case is loose and the pencil falls out of it constantly. I just felt like for the price, these things would have been better engineered. I'm not going to return it, but I'm eventually going to switch cases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product with a weakness This is my third Zag cover purchased for my iPad Pro - so obviously I like it a lot, but since this is #3, there is a weakness. I haven't found another cover that rivals this. It fits great, provides excellent protection, and the detachable keyboard is excellent. Since I have large fingers I appreciate a larger keyboard. The cover does add weight - the added heft might bother some users though. The issue/weakness is that the pivot points on the foldable metal stand have a tendency to break. I tried to fix it with super glue, etc. but it didn't work. To their credit, the Zagg warranty is great. My first one was replaced under warranty - all I had to do was pay shipping. #2 broke exactly like the first, and unfortunately I was two days out of the one-year warranty - but there was a huge price drop, so purchasing #3 was pretty painless.

I had to pay for a replacement shipment, and replace set came DAMAGED GOODS TOO! The battery last less than 4 hours, red light on on/off button keeps blinking + backlit not working. Going to return all stocks and ask for refund! Wasting time and energy plus I had to pay for all shipment. Support team is not responsive. It takes days for them to reply email. Their phone support in Asia can only speak mandarin. In the first place stock should be checked before sending out! And now I wasted all the postage and added frustration plus delay. Full of nonsense.

This one fits the 4th generation perfectly. I like the fact it has its own stand and the keyboard is detachable and is backlit which makes it easy to see in bad lighting.

The engineering / design was not well executed. Had to buy another keyboard/case set. Extra Keyboard is not needed.

It would be a winner except for the footprint of the keyboard. It was so big when attached and the back support is extended. I went with the Rugged Book because it was more compact on this issue.

I actually dropped it the keyboard popped off but I put it back on and the iPad was unharmed. Overall great investment

Provides good protection to corners and allows for a solid grip while handling. kickstand is perfect for the too many Zoom meetings we all have lately. I also purchased the ZAGG Pro Stylus and InvisibleShield Glass. Both also a great buy.

It feels a little insecure to me to carry it around. If it is in the other spot, when opened up it could fall out. Overall a high quality product.

The keyboard is ergonomically superior to most Ipad keyboard since it fits the adult male hands perfectly. The detachaeble feature, backlight, rear kickstand and ability to switch to multiple devices is extremely useful. Makes is easy to quickly transition from business use to fun. Great value and features that you will not find with the Apple keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good solid keyboard Nice feel with the keys. Reliable bluetooth connection and long battery life. Only gripe is there is a slot for the Apple pencil which is too big for the Apple Pencil 2. But the Apple Pencil can be charged and stored on the top of the case as well.
