Nice item, a little heavy. It is said that you cannot get everything. This is a very nice item, it is a little heavy on add it to the iPad. But this is due to the fact that it is built like a tank. So if you’re looking for a good protection and a nice keyboard, this is for you.

Outstanding case & keyboard
Great design! The fabulous keyboard is easily detachable and when connected is at a comfortable angle for typing. The case for the iPad is strong and inspires confidence that it will always be protected (and the ZAGG screen protectors fit within the case perfectly), and the case even improves the sound of the tiny speakers on the iPad because they channel the sound forward. Finally, the stand permits any angle for viewing that you could ever want.

Liked, but went with slim one
I liked this cover and keypad, but it was too bulky for me. I use my tablet in an office setting and although I travel, I carry a purse. So it stays in there. Both this and the slim are better than the apple cover with keyboard by far, but this is really as the name suggests...rugged.

I Love It!
I love the fit, design, quality of this product. So far so good. I had trouble when first trying to pair it with my new iPad Pro but after restarting the iPad I got it to connect. Now it connects every time I use the iPad. Glad I found this product, it's just what I needed.

I MUST have a detachable keyboard. Sadly, no one offers one that folds like Logitech’s last version. The Zagg Rugged is the next best thing. Offers great protection and a more comfortable/functional footprint when open.

Durable and functional
This is the second Zagg Rugged Book I have purchased. The first was for an earlier version iPad. I am tough on my iPad because of the type of work I do. The Rugged Book does great. It protects my iPad, and it’s had to. It’s proven itself in battle so to speak. And the keyboard is perfect for typing. I highly recommend.

2020 Ipad Pro 12.9 Pro with Rugged Book Go
I have been using the Rugged Book with my 2020 Ipad Pro 12.9 Pro and overall I have enjoyed the keyboard and cover. For everyday and general purpose use, I have enjoyed the experience.
As an architect, one thing that might be a good add-on or as an accessory would be some sort of way to add hand or shoulder strap. Due to size and weight of cover, it would make carrying the overall product on construction site.

The description is exactly what I got. It is made well and will protect my iPad. The keyboard is great. I have purchased Zagg key boards in the past. They are reliable and have out lasted my iPads. What I would like for them to make is a skin to go over the keyboard to protect dirt or dust from settling in the keyboard.

I had trouble getting the iPad installed into the the Rugged Book Go. No instruction detailed enough. Example. If I had been told to place the iPad face down to install it into the Book I would have saved a whole evening. After spending a whole evening trying to install the iPad into the front of the Book I gave up. The next morning I place the iPad face down with the Book partially installed in the Book except for the bottom ridge. With the Book and iPad face down the iPad snap completely in place with very little pressure along the bottom edge on the back side of the Book. I think this instruction should be included in the Book package!

Great quality protective case and keyboard
I purchased a ZAGG keyboard case years ago when purchased my first iPad (IPad 2) and had always really liked that case, so this was first on my list for my new iPad Pro. I read some reviews before purchasing and seemed the only real cons about this case were the weight, the hinge, and the magnetic attachment. OK it’s a little on the heavy side but it’s still lighter than my MacBook Pro and so for me not a big deal, a trade off for protection. The hinge works fine, maybe after some time it becomes looser? I don’t know, it seems like there’s enough resistance there that this won’t happen. Also a con was, if you drop it high enough the magnet will release from the iPad portion on impact. That’s something have no experience with, yet anyway.
The quality of the case and keyboard is what I really like. It detaches easily and the keyboard function itself is intuitive, more so than the MacBook, very easy to use. It fits so well it took a little time snapping the iPad into it. Felt like would damage the iPad if pushed too much (I even tried heating it slightly with a heat gun). I ended up installing it bottom first and prying the top left front corner tabs just a little to get them around the volume and wake/sleep buttons. Went on right away then.
Only other thing would mention is that the backlight feature, even when it has green light charging left (50% or more) the color options will not work after a while. I don’t know if this is an issue with this particular one but it does seem that using the backlighting really drains the battery, because when plugged into a charger, the color option works right away.
All in all very happy with the keyboard, highly recommended.

Best IPad keyboard case
This keyboard case is the best. It protects your IPad. It holds the Apple Pencil securely, the keyboard holds a charge for a long time, and the detach feature is great when you need to lay the IPad flat or just don’t need it. The stand is perfect.

Love the product! The only negative I can give is the volume up/down and power buttons are almost impossible to use. Way to stiff. Did you guys check this before production? Otherwise love the keyboard and cover itself. Would recommend to my friends.

Mixed feelings
I was very excited at the idea of the rugged keyboard/case. It has many potentially awesome features that need further development to function as I expected them to.
LOVE the pencil tray/charger!
The keyboard is fussy when linking to the iPad and should charge when attached to the case rather than two separate plug-ins.
I do like the keyboard touch and backlight but when I try to use the iPad at my desk or on my lap, the iPad prop at the back of the case plus the keyboard with the wrist area makes the actual device nearly as deep as my desk and longer than my lap (unless I’m sitting in a recliner) so it’s difficult to use with the keyboard attached (I’m sure it’d be fine for someone with longer legs). A child would have to use the iPad keyboard if he/she was not at a desk.
The molded buttons in the case are nearly impossible to push the actual iPad pap were & volume buttons. I usually have to slip that corner out of the case if I want to use the buttons.
The way the keyboard fits onto the case also makes it difficult to pull the icon tray up to switch apps or select the split screen app. I can fit my finger in the gap between the iPad and the keyboard... my husband couldn’t even consider doing so.
I do like the idea of the removable keyboard. That feature is easy to use but should have a stronger magnet. Since the newer iPad model has the option for mouse compatibility, it’d be nice to have that option on the wrist area of the keyboard.

Rugged and more hefty
If you are reading this than you want something more than your iPad use demands something more than elegant leather folio cover. This product was a bit heavier than I expected, but given the level of protection it provides I'll happily adjust. I travel a lot internationally via many modes and this case provides me the flexibility of use (especially loving the keyboard options) and confidence in protection - yes I have dropped previous tablets. Also added the InvisibleShield Glass+ for added protection.

Feel protected
I feel my IPad is well protected. The pencil holder feels flimsy and I don’t have a use for it. The left edge feels a little sharp and all together it is somewhat heavy. So far it is doing what I expect it to.

Great heavy-duty case with detachable keyboard
iPads are not cheap, so having a strong heavy-duty case is a must for those who take their iPad with them. The Zagg case is strong, thick, and protective. The keyboard connects to the case through magnets and can be easily removed or connected without any fuss. The stand built into the case allows you to adjust the iPad viewing angle to exactly what you need - no preset angles here, you set it, it stays. The keyboard has backlighting and color options to make using in a darker room (like when watching TV) easier. Like all things with long lasting batteries, the unit feels heavy when the keyboard is closed over the iPad - it feels rock solid, but heavy like a laptop would. The keyboard itself feels great when held - it's the total weight of the cast, keyboard, and iPad that feels heavy. It's not an issue, just something to be aware of. The only issue I have run into is that the power button requires a good amount of effort to press. I have no problems myself, but both of my children seem to not be able to push the button hard enough to turn off the iPad. This could be a challenge for seniors. Zagg could easily address this in a product update - making the power button "bump" extend a little higher above the flush edge of the case. Overall, a great case/keyboard combo for the iPad. The backlighting is a must have - and the case feels like it'll protect the iPad from bumps and falls. I've tried so many keyboard cases and the Zagg tops them all within the under $200 price range.

I SEE THAT THE PEN HOLDER IS EXCLUSIVE TO APPLE PENCILS ONLY AS I HAVE ANOTHER VENDORS PRODUCT THAT MATCHES VERY SIMILAR TO THE APPLE PENCIL BUT WONT STAY IN THE HOLDER.

Must have for work!
I wasn’t too sure about this keyboard/ case before I received it. It was difficult getting the iPad on the case , but I understand it’s needed having experienced iPad Screen damage before. My toddler has an iPad Pro as well , but unfortunately she dropped it before I even got to buy a case for it! Luckily I researched this case/keyboard and got it for my work iPad Pro. So far I’m in love with it. I like the fact that it’s detachable . I can place the iPad and keyboard anywhere and honestly it makes it so much more comfortable for me since I have tech everywhere. I will definitely consider buying another once I get my daughters iPad fixed.

Excellent case
Long story short. I placed multiple orders for the same case because the delivery was taking over two weeks from the original order. I tried to cancel the second order when the first shipped, but was unable to. The second case was $20 cheaper and I retuned it upon arrival being that I finally had a cover for my iPad Pro.
The case and keyboard are great and perfect for my use. The 4 stars are for the shipping delays and contacting customer support telling them of the price difference only to be credited for the lesser amount.

The case is well made and secures the side of the iPad. The key pad is detachable and can still use the key pad when it detached from the iPad. The cost is more reasonable than other case and well worth the money.
The only downside with this case the button on the side is hard to use when turning on the IPad. But then again if you carry this in a bag, you don’t have to worry about your IPad accidentally turning on. I would recommend this product hands down.

Improved design from the Rugged book on our IPad 2 Air. It has a kick stand to place the IPad and keyboard in position similar to a laptop PC.

Great durable protective case with keyboard!
I choose not to buy Apple’s magic pad case due to the crazy price tag but I wanted to protect my expensive new iPad Pro. I got a zag screen protector and this case. I am confident it’s protected now. The case is heavy duty and feel very durable and safe. Combine that with the screen protector I added makes it extra protected. The keyboard works great. I am very happy with the value I got from
Zag compared to Apple’s options.

Zagg is the best!
I tried a couple "budget" bluetooth keyboard/covers for my iPad 12.9 and immediately regretted it.
I've had two previous versions of Zagg keyboard/covers and was always happy with them. This new one is my third Zagg and it is the best yet.
At 12.9" the keyboard feels and performs like a full size laptop keyboard. It is extremely ergonomic, durable, and functional.
I never had kickstand keyboards before and thought I wouldn't like it, but I love this one, even after extensive use.
The slot for the Apple pencil is a perfect fit, keeps it charged and protected. The magnetic attaching points for the keyboard to the cover are very strong and handy when you want to use the tablet as an e-reader or take notes with the pencil. It detaches easily, making the Zagg Rugged Book Go very versatile.
I will always turn to Zagg for tablet keyboard/cases. It is money well spent.
