I had an older Zagg cover with keyboard when I didn't know what Zagg was. I thought was really good and after years of use, I was sad to see this cover go once I upgraded my iPad. Wow, the new Zagg cover is just as nice, if not better and the keyboard is such an improvement. Definitely would recommend this product.

This Messenger Folio is just what I was looking for to replace my previous one. This is the 3rd one I have purchased. The 1st one, the battery lasted about 7 years, the 2nd one, only about 3 years. Hopefully this one will give better service. The people at Zagg are very good at standing behind their products if a problem should occur. You can buy their products elsewhere, but you are wiser to buy directly from their website.

I thought this would be like my previous iPad case and would be able to be removed from the keyboard. Other than that it does the job of protecting the iPad with the conveniences of a small keyboard. Just wish that I could remove the iPad from the keyboard for easy handling for searching the web and social media.

Gen 9 keyboard case
My former IPad Pro had a Logitech keyboard case. This Zagg case is easily comparable. In configuration and ease of use. The blue tooth was clumsy for the first few connections, but has now smoothed out evenly. Key strikes are solid and firm. The five star aspect is of course, the price! Logitech can’t even offer a carry case at this price point. This is the deal of the day when you want a keyboard for your new 9 gen iPad.

This keyboard is horrible. I would be typing and the keyboard didn’t even register that I typed the letters. I had to press on the letter hard to make it work. I ended up mailing it back to Zagg and I had to pay the shipping costs. This product sucks. Don’t buy it!
I had purchased a Zagg folio back in 2013 and it was the best. It worked great. They need to bring back the old folios.

bought this keyboard and it worked fine when i got it, was disappointed it didn't have a mouse but pad but thats on my end with not looking into that spec. have had it for a few days now and the delete button doesn't work anymore. not sure if its a bug but either way its bugging

Nice Keyboard case, with limitations
This case is robustly built and the keyboard feels substantial. Protection for the tablet when closed is excellent. Battery lasts forever. Esthetics are nice. Unfortunately, it can only be used in a single upright position. This makes things like using a stylus or positioning a camera for video calls difficult. But for the price point, it’s very nice.

Have purchased Zagg products in the past. Only slight (very slight) challenge is the slot the iPad sits in. It tends to slip out of position. So I am extra cautious to make sure the IPad stays properly situated. Otherwise the keyboard works perfectly.

The folio is excellent. A real value for the money and quality. However, the metal end piece on the charging cord came completely bent. I called Zagg immediately and was told to buy a new cord. This I don’t understand. It was part of the purchase. Why should I have to go out buy the replacement???

This is the forth ipad cover i bought from Zagg. They all last about 2 years and then crap out. They no longer make the heavy duty cover that i had previously. My previous cover could be opened like a book (screen at any angle you want). This one opens to only one screen position. There's nothing wrong with this cover, but when this one craps out, I'll probably buy a different cover. There's nothing terrible about this cover, it's just OK, nothing special and i'm sure there's better products out there.

This is my second keyboard/case purchase from ZAGG. The first was for my iPad mini. I had no difficulty pairing my mini or iPad 10.2. Keyboard is functional. Keys are sized well. Case is attractive. Beware, they are heavy, however this is due to them being well built and substantial. I feel they represent a significant cost savings compared to Apple products.

This one fits my ipad and does not cover up the camera. I bought the Messenger Folio and it fit the ipad but covered up the camera partially. Sent it back and bought this one which was about 30 dollars more. Was not happy about that but it works great.

I've had many different Folio models over the years and all have performed perfectly. With one a few years back, the case (not the keyboard) broke and customer service went out of their way to get me a new replacement model as my old model was no longer in production.
I bought this new Folio 2 to go with my new IPad and its working perfectly.
