Folio 2 is just right!
The Folio 2 is just right for me. My hands are not real steady and the absence of a touch pad really helps. This model also secures the i-Pad in the upright position much more effectively than the previous model that I had.

Adequate keyboard
Pro: easy to use and set up (I am not very computer savvy). Price was great.
Con: my biggest complaint is the sharp edges, even though it’s a rubber-like material. Every time I reach to use the touchpad, the edge of the keyboard scrapes my forearm.
I do think the keyboard looks a bit cheap against the iPad but it works well. I do wish it was a bit quieter when typing (I wouldn’t want to use it in a quiet lecture hall).

A Great Keyboard
As always, my newest Zagg keyboard is easy to set up and easy to use. No complaints whatsoever (except that I would have preferred a black case instead of gray). Zagg keyboards are a great product.

The keyboard is awesome but the pitch of the iPad is bad. The angle needs to be about 10 degrees more as it is not comfortable to view and type at the same time.

Deficient
You can’t use the fingerprint technology to open the iPad with this keyboard attached. When I pointed this out to customer service they said I had 30 days to return it, but had to pay for shipping myself.

This keyboard works well with an iPad. I’d recommend purchasing this instead of buying one from Apple. The quality is great and you’d saved a lot of money.

Not as great as my previous rugged case
I gave my recent purchase of a keyboard/case for my Ipad 3 stars because it's just not as great as my previous rugged case. I miss not being able to have a hinged back for my ipad so that I can adjust the back/forward movement of the screen. Not a fan of the current one where you click the screen into a slot and there is no back/forth adjusting of the screen for best reading advantage.

The older Folio I have
The older Folio I have had a separate case for the iPad and I thought it sounded like this one did but it does not it has to be taken out of the case to carry it separately and has no protection and it is slick. I like the older one better

Zagg, you’ve muffed it
I’ve used Zagg Messenger Folios with previoius generations of iPad, and I’ve gotten several other people to buy them based on my recommendation.
I cannot believe that you’ve set up this version so as to make the biometric touch switch unusable while the iPad is in the case. I even printed my pinkie finger to see if that would be narrow enough, but no.
Did nobody actually test that this worked? I’m really disappointed with the design quality of the product.

So nice to have a keyboard that is super easy to pair with the iPad . Only concern is the flexibility in the keyboard. I had a problem with the space bar not working properly. All is well now and no issues.

Great Purchase
My first experience with ZAGG case was a great one. I had the rugged version for a work IPAD. Therefore, I knew what brand of case I wanted for my new IPAD purchase.
This case is easy to install and stays in place well. The keyboard has a great layout for comfortable typing. This feature makes my IPAD feel more like a laptop when needed. If you use your IPAD more like a tablet, this may annoy you. You will have the keyboard in your hand when in portrait mode.
Great purchase for my needs. The battery life for the keyboard will last for many days. Both IPAD and keyboard both use C Type chargers.
