If you're looking for a way to enjoy music with the whole family, this is a great option! It has Bluetooth built in which makes playing music right from your phone or laptop super easy! Also wanted a soundbar that mounted flat on the wall. Sound is amazing for 200.00 budget. Bass is lacking so don't expect anything great and you will be impressed. Overall another great product by Yamaha!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sound I use as part of my home theatre. The tones are rich and clear, and the subwoofers do a great job on the bottom ranges. The build quality is excellent(no surprise there, because I have a Yamaha receiver,)and it fits well in it's space. I use this with my Samsung QLED TV, and it adapts well with Alexa.

They are easy to use out of the box and pair easily to my phone with Bluetooth. The bass is great, and the sound is rich and enjoyable. I'm really impressed and will get another for my kid's room. The soundbar is sleek and minimal with my 65 inch television.

When playing video games it feels like you're in the game, movies feel like I'm at a theater, and I absolutely LOVE playing music. It's amazing what a good speaker can do. You can easily control the speaker with the app, or with Alexa. I've loved being able to control the speaker with Alexa and have used that feature the most. This speaker is hands down the best speaker I've had. I've gotten many comments about it whether I have friends over to watch the game, or simply watching a show. I highly recommend this speaker for anyone looking.

The YAS-109 exceeded my expectations for sound clarity and loudness. The sound is clear and it has a Surround feature if you want to get a theater like experience, all that in a slick and modern design. Plus it has built in Alexa which we use on daily basis. I would recommend this product to my friends and family and to anyone who is looking for a quality sound bar!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I received this soundbar for free for my honest opinion. This sound bar really sounds amazing. Giving it 5 stars would mean it doesn't need improvement and there are some issues I had with it. Setting up the sound bar with Alexa was a bit of a nightmare I ultimately had to delete Alexa and the sound bar off my phone and reset the sound bar to manufacture default. Then start over multiple times until it finally was recognized by the Yamaha app. There are some other small issues I had. While using arc this sometimes does not detect any sound at all and I have to turn the tv off and on which could be the tvs fault. The lights on the top are very small and dim so to tell if clear voice or 3d surround are on is a little difficult. Other than those small issues though this sound bar is really incredible. The sound is full and accurate. Clear voice is just amazing I don't have to use subtitles as much when my kids are sleeping the bass sounds good for a sound bar but I highly recommend attaching a sub which is easy to do since this sound bar has a sub out port. Overall I am very pleased with this sound bar and it's not even comparable to the Samsung sound bar I had before it is just light years ahead of it in its quality and sound.

Alexa works perfectly and was easy to set up with the yamaha app and Alexa skills. I would 100% recommend this soundbar to all of my friends.

Would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable sound bar. I am a little spoiled with my high end sound bar but this one does great for my bedroom!

But the depth of sound is so much better, we have loved adding it to our set up for watching movies. We have also used the Alexa integration a lot for streaming spotify and getting into the Christmas vibe. ????

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honestly a little disappointed I'll start with what I do like, the voice clarity is great I can finally understand the dialogue of what's going on. The sound quality in general is just ok. What disappoints me is just in general how weak it is. I have to crank the volume way past half before I even begin to hear anything, what's the point then? Just have the volume start at 50. Cranking it all the way to 100 is almost normal listening volume. I don't know what I expected at this price point but I didn't think it would be this weak sauce.

Everything is put in protected and secured so that no damage is done even the pamphlets. This item comes with a warranty and shows you step by step on how to register. Easy to set up! Once setting up it sounds amazing!

In addition, the possibility of using it as a bluetooth speaker, or as a stereo sending songs from your mobile, spotify or amazon prime music, gives it added value. Alexa use it to request songs recognizes any voice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great compact soundbar with advanced features! I recently received this YAS-109 soundbar by Yamaha and the first thing that struck me was the sleek and modern design. It is fairly lightweight and is ideal for rooms that are lacking the space for a complete sound system. The setup was easy and intuitive and you are able to control the soundbar using the smartphone app. Another great feature of this product is the built in Alexa which allows you to operate the soundbar through voice control. The sound quality is much better than that of a television alone but not as good as a complete sound system with separate subwoofer. I used it to stream music from my Spotify and Amazon music accounts as well to watch television and movies. I would definitely recommend this product, especially to anyone who is looking for a space-saving, quality and affordable sound enhancing product with innovative features.

This soundbar is very slim and looks sleek under my TV and powerful sound that makes me feel like I'm in the scene of the movie. I personally would love to experience this soundbar with a wireless subwoofer as I think that's the only thing lacking from this device. The soundbar offers a variety of ports to connect to external devices and I was able to set up and use the soundbar in minutes after opening the box. Very easy setup!

It only took about 5 minutes from opening the box to fully installed so very easy to set up. The bass is great for music and action movies, while the mid to highs are excellent for football games and tv shows. Only negative is the remote and app are too simplistic but still easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You Need This! First of all this sound bar is absolutely amazing. Getting it set up was incredibly easy. It has an app that it pairs with where you can connect your Spotify and Alexa accounts. It has amazing sound quality. This sound bar can go extremely loud and not sound distorted at all. It has really good bass that is adjustable to your preference. When using the sound bar for watching tv or gaming it creates such an immersive experience. It also has a surround sound setting that you can turn on and off. I love how easy it was to mount this on the wall, it came with a template that really simplified the process. I really do not have anything bad to say about the YAS-109 Sound Bar. I highly recommend this.

Annoying that it only supports Alexa though, since I have a Google household. I also was unable to get the sound bar to connect to the app to get Alexa working either. So no smart feature for me.

As nearly as I can tell, the remote sensor must be on the top instead of the front. I have the bar sitting just in front of the TV pedestal. From my sofa, the bar can't receive signal from the remote unless I get up and hold the remote high shooting toward the top of the bar. This is a real pain. Everything else is great though !! I especially love that I can use any brand of subwoofer !!!
