Great WFH Solution
I bought this last month and I love it. I only have to plug in one cable into my notebook and I get 2 monitors and don't have to worry about finding my charger.

Disappointing and over-priced
This is a highly overpriced, underpowered, and glitchy product. While it comes with a 100w power supply, the dock only delivers 85w to the computer. And while it can drive multiple monitors, it is not easy to setup as you have to find the right configuration of hdmi/display ports to use. Finally, once you get all of that worked out, it still flickers.

Good Little Docking Station
The only thing missing is a power button to turn the laptop on without opening it. Otherwise, it has everything I needed.

Works great!
The only complaint I have about this unit is not enough USB Type C ports. It has two - one for power in and one to connect to the laptop. That leaves zero for a Type C external drive.

Small but Powerful
I love this little docking station, it is small but powerful. I inadvertently purchased the Dell D3100 not realizing that it did not provide power. This perfectly suits my needs!

VisionTek USB-C Docking Station
The USB-C docking station seems to work well with my laptop and my devices. The only improvement I could think would be for the USB-C cord connecting the laptop to the dock, needs to be longer or the power cord to the dock needs to be longer. The dock just seems to be stuck right in the middle when all plugged in. But I must say, It does work just fine.

Meh. It's OK. Probably wouldn't buy again.
The touchpad is inconsistent. I HAVE to use a USB mouse. It's just not worth pursuing a correction or replacement. Also, and I knew this, but it's a pain in the backside to not have USB ports. The dongles are not clean or fast to work with. I find it inconvenient to extricate my laptop from the dongle, power, lock etc and just take it in the other room. But that's my own fault I guess.

Terrible
This device actually crashed my entire shop and server. The signal was going in a continuous loop and not actually going where it needed to go. It might work for a small operation, but it certainly did not for me. It actually cost me thousands of dollars when I had to shut my shop down and send my employees home until it was assessed and fixed. By fixed I mean we stopped using it.

Quite disappointing. Had hoped to connect my laptop to 2 monitors. Tried using HDMI and Display Port connection--even purchased some new DP cables, hoping that might alter the outcome. Always experienced a vibrating display--swapped connections to confirm that both display were good.

Purchased 6 of these. One DOA. The others constantly having issues, monitors blink on and off, keyboard gets stuck frequently and pumps out a few dozen of the same letter, requires power cycling the docking station multiple times per day and a sometimes even a reboot of the laptop most days. Basically unusable.

Stopped working after 2 weeks :(
Failed after two weeks. Monitor output became intermittent and the ethernet port stopped working altogether. The ethernet port failed in such a way that it brought down the entire network until the docking station ethernet cable was unplugged. Returned, yet Dell has been slow to issue my refund. Disappointed.

Works well - good value
Simple plug and play docking station that I am using to add external monitors, wireless keyboard and mouse to my Dell XPS 13. Easy to set up, has enough ports and was priced right. My real issue is with the XPS itself. Only 2 USB-C ports (one that is required for power)? Come on Dell! Not everyone who uses a small laptop is a road warrior 100% of the time.

Was able to add 2 monitors, web cam, Mic, mouse and keyboard as well as external HDD and still have ports open to use for other items...plus it powers my laptop and charges it as well.

One of my favorites, improved!
I've been working from home for over 9 months now. Fortunately, docking stations have made working from home a smooth ride. Now, VisionTek has the VT2500 which is much the same as the VT2000 I have been using all this time, but now, it has it's own power supply!
I picked up the VT2500 for my husband since his system's power supply died and he wasn't able to pick a new one up from his company. Not only is he nicely set up with additional monitors, full keyboard and regular mouse, but he can charge his laptop. The small footprint means the limited desk space he has isn't cluttered.
If your laptop charges over the USB-C port, this is a perfect docking station for you, I know it was the right solution for my husband's system!
