Urban Armor Gear Monarch Series is built with quality materials consisting of 5 protective layers. Starting with UAG's signature armor frame and shock-resistant core, layered with top-grain leather, a polycarbonate shear plate, and alloy metal hardware - all wrapped in impact-resistant rubber. Monarch cases feature upgraded side grips with honeycomb traction designed to provide a firmer grip, as well as oversized tactile buttons for precise use. The design of the camera opening provides a glare-free flash, ensuring that the case doesn't interfere with the quest for flawless photos. UAG cases are Apply Pay & wireless charging compatible and available in an array of vibrant colors.

The carbon fiber looks great as well. I also have the Plasma series case for my phone. I find the Plasma series feels better to hold, but the Monarch series looks excellent.

Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the back is a little thick along the UAG logo. I use a magnetic holder in my car, and this thickness inhibits a bit the strength of the magnetic hold. Driving on a somewhat bumpy road causes the phone to drop off its holder. This didn't happen with previous cases I've used. But overall a great looking case that is very well made!

My favorite feature are the faux carbon fiber bits, overall enhancing the appearance of the case. The corners of the phone are nicely bolstered with extra material keeping my phone secured. Pairing this case with a good screen protector will turn your phone into a tank. I strongly recommend guys!

Would definitely purchase again if needed, but don’t see that happening. It is truly bulletproof to everything that I’ve put it through so far.

I’ve purchased all of my phone cases from UAG and this is the highest quality case yet. The metal and leather combination looks extremely fancy, it adds little bulk to the phone, wireless charging, Apple Pay, and everything else work flawlessly. They look much better in person than they do in the photos online and my phone has taken a tumble several times and I have never had to file a single insurance claim on one of my devices. Highly recommended and will buy again when I buy my next phone.
