Rated 5 out of 5 byjrsbat from Perfect for single laptop protection - portable, well madeOriginally used with HDTV in guest room. When I had to add a cable box I swapped this with its 3 outlet sibling I was using for a laptop. This also works well with the laptop. It provides great protection and is very portable - easy to take along with the laptop.

Rated 5 out of 5 bydrofgolf from Spikecube is greatThe "Spikecube" was one of the items that we purchased when we set up our Surge protection setups for all of our computers, peripherals, flat screens, DVDs, and all of the other important electrical items in the house. It's easy to use, just plug it in and the LEDs let you know that you are protected. I definitely would recommend this item to anyone looking for surge protection.

On new garage door openers I decided to spend a little more and protect the units by buying the Tripp Spikecubes.Hopefully We'll never take a hit but I know I've done my best to protect my investments.

Rated 5 out of 5 byCulliganman from Works like a charmCurrently using in a setup where we have a weatherproof box affixed to a telephone pole outdoors and an outlet ran into the box. There's not enough room for a full power strip and I came across this little guy and he works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 byGroundedInHell from Good ProductA nice little product that I like to use in my kitchen for a lot of the little appliances like my coffeemaker. It's indicator LEDs make it easy to know that the appliances are protected at a glance. After doing a lot of research on the different surge protector manufacturers out there, Tripp Lite was the only company I felt I could trust. I don't work for them or anything, just someone who had trouble with surge suppressors in the past, and realized quickly that the products are only as good as the company that stands behind them. For future upgrades to the product, I would like something that easily plugs into both outlets at the same time and provides you with two outputs to match the typical wall electrical outlet.

Rated 5 out of 5 byOldManFromIdaho from SpikeCube, perfect sizePurchased the SpikeCube for my garage door opener. As electronics market enters the garage, I wanted my new purchase to be well protected. I chose the familiar name of Tripp-Lite to protect my garage door opener. I like the small size and the green and red lights that can easily be seen. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I haven't had a power surge to verify it provides the protection I purchased it for. It is a perfect solution for my opener.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJason from Orlando from Perfect for what I was looking forI was looking for a small surge protector for a place where I didn't have room for a power strip style surge protector, but I wanted to protect a small powered speaker in case of a surge. Rated 5 out of 5 byDennis from Did it's job !Within six months of purchasing several of these Spikecubes we experienced a thunderstorm with severe lightning, four of the spikecubes were fried, saving the appliances that were plug into them. They saved me untold amounts of money and aggravation. When I contacted Tripp-lite they sent me replacement spikecubes. Great product and amazing customer service. I highly recommend Tripp-lite products.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMarinewife from Small but effectiveI have a few of these and they are great for providing protection for small appliances, iPod chargers, coffee pots and lots more! If you have something to plug in, use one of these to safeguard them from power spikes. Living in Florida where we have lots of thunderstorms that pop up, these are great protection from power spikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBonnie from An affordable solution for additional protectionWe have a whole house surge protector but decided to purchase the spike cube to protect the microwave and garage door opener. We also placed them in our guest room to protect the electronics of our guests. We feel the additional protection is worth the money spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBruce from Great for tripsI use this small device when I travel. It doesn't take up too much room and appears to do the job. I can't be sure because I don't know if I've had a surge or not, but it's nice to know it's there if it does happen. Only improvement I can think of is I wish it could handle 220v. Blew a circuit breaker at the Intercontinental in London because I plugged it into a three prong without realizing it was 220v instead of 120v. There were two three prong and I had been using the one that was 120v. Found out the other one was 220v.
