Do Not Buy Cheap Surge Protectors; Get a Tripp Lite
New to building PCs. I was building my first desktop setup for gaming and learned not to cheap out on the surge protector. After reading about how other brands released sparks or caused fires, I searched for information about quality surge protectors and Tripp Lite came highly recommended by electricians and others who work in similar industries.
I do not regret paying a little more for a Tripp Lite. The cost difference ( less than $10 ) justifies the peace of mind. The build quality is definitely sturdy, and it's reassuring that they come with a lifetime warranty as well as insurance. The model I purchased has $75,000 insurance, so I don't really worry about my PC parts being ruined by a power surge or catching on fire while I'm gone.
Definitely a safe product. I was repeatedly turning my PC on and off for tests, and I was able to switch off the current and safely do modifications to it while sitting on carpet. I would definitely recommend Tripp Lite to friends when it comes to surge protectors.

After doing much research for a good power strip I finally found this trip light it has the surge protector that I was looking for the flat right angle plug,And you're able to plug in those pesky transformers! It's stylish yet functional.It's UL listed as most of these ones out here are only European approved which doesn't do much good for me because I don't live there I live in the United States of America. Been through a bunch of them they were junk I'm really happy with this and the 1600 Jules plus the $75,000 in protection you couldn't ask for anything better yeah it only cost me 19.95 Plus the $75,000 insurance guarantee once you register your device you can't go wrong with this one.

As advertised and so far no issues (and I hope never to need their protection). I have this product on my electronics and treadmill because I trust Tripp-Lite products. Installing the protector was simple and straightforward. One feature I would like to see on the device is for the on/off switch to be lighted so it is easier to see in dim or dark lighting. Thanks.

Would definitely buy again.
Since a near lightning strike damaged 2 of my float battery chargers, I decided to add protection to my barn. After researching online, I purchased a Tripplite Super7B surge protected power strip. I picked this based on high surge level (2160 J) protection and the 7 well packaged outlets. I now have 4 of these float chargers protected and I no longer have worries when the storms roll through.
Will likely buy another for my garage; great value compared to the competition. Would not change anything in the design; easy to hang on wall

Nice unit for the price.
I purchased this to handle vintage stereo equipment and some musical gear. The low clamping voltage was the big selling point. From what I found online it is an exellent 150 volts. Hopefully that is accurate! Maybe a TrippLite representative can confirm this. The unit feels sturdy. Hopefully I never have to rely on it from a big voltage spike; but if I do, I'm hopeful it will deliver as promised.

Our IT department used Tripp Lite for all of our outlets, so I figured I'd try it out. The angled flat plug was exactly what I needed. I used this to plug my washer and other things into. The 2 plugs in the side made it Very useful for other plugs to fit. I especially like that I was able to mount the plug on my wall. All in all it's a great product.

You never know when your power company will send you unexpected surges from the transformer. Trust me, I know. This brand was recommended to me by a fire inspector I met. Peace of mind for expensive appliance
So far so good. Bought this for the protection guarantee. I hooked my new multi-thousand dollar Sleep Number bed up to it. Wanted to make sure that, if something happened electrically, I wasn't on the hook to replace these expensive parts.
The outlets on the side of the strip are an added bonus, they provide room to connect the device chargers I have next to my bed with room for more expansion.

I love the side outlets to keep it flat under furniture
We use it on a new treadmill. It met the treadmill manufacturer specifications and the side plug keep it flat so it can be concealed just under adjacent furniture. We get many many violent thunderstorms here in the desert southwest and we need and use protectors on all of our more expensive equipment. None have been damaged so far.

I am using this product for a computer, modem and router. I needed a better surge protector because my modem was fried from the last one I had that did not protect my equipment. I really like the way the 2 end plugs are situated because my router doesn't always stay plugged in. Gravity takes over and if it gets bumped it falls out of the outlet. This power strip allows me to plug it into the top plug (I have it hung sideways) and now it is secure!!. I am very glad I bought this.

I will buy this again to protect other equipment in the house. I bought it to protect my new flatscreen TV - the old generic brand protector was blinking and I figured it wasn't good anymore. When I plugged the Tripp-lite in, the protected light didn't light. Sure enough, when I checked the outlet, it was wired for reverse polarity. I wouldn't have known that without this product, and probably would have had other electronics such as my new TV, DVR and Blueray player fail prematurely. Probably won't need the insurance now, but glad to know its there.

I use this surge protector in my bedroom. This is the first real "surge protector" that I've owned. Before, I only used "power strips" with no true protection. I had no idea there was a difference! I feel so much more secure knowing that my electronic items are plugged into this Tripp Lite protector!

I definitely recommend this product
I have this surge protector installed into my living room entertainment system. We had a lightning storm about a month ago (shortly after purchasing this product).
Lightning struck the lines in my neighbors backyard and surged into our house. Everything in the kitchen and one of our kids room was fried. The breaker that goes to the kids room also controls the plug that my living room entertainment system is plugged into. The surge protector did it's job and protected everything plugged up to it. Home owners insurance covered the rest fortunately. But I will definitely be buying more of these for the rest of the house

Good and reliable power cord and surge protector
I experience frequent power outages in my area and needed to protect my electronic equipment. I purchased 3 cords to use for my sensitive devices. I like these because they have indicator light which will tell you when the cord has lost its surge protection.

Circuit breaker issues. Disappointment.
After less than a month of use this SUPER7B Surge Protector would continually trip my circuit breaker no matter what. Had to swap it out with the older surge protector I was hoping to replace and which has not caused any similar breaker issues since. Unable to get a replacement so far. Disappointed since I've been happy with other Tripp Lite surge protector purchases in the past.

I needed replacement surge protectors for computers and tvs with related equipment. Most on the market did not have acceptable clamping voltage. This one was nearly perfect…. My only issue was the right-angle plug. In our area, code is to install sockets with ground prong on top, which means the cord does not go down along the wall as intended. How about rotating flat plugs?

Best surge protectors I've used
I use this to plug in all my battery chargers at once. It's seemingly the only reliable surge protector with this many ports and the side ones that allows me to do so. I won't buy any other brand as long as Tripp-Lite builds long lasting items like this.

Can't go wrong with Tripp Lite!
I used the Tripp Lite surge protector in my office so when I retired I purchased one for my home computer and internet modem. I wanted a reliable surge protector and knowing how well it protected my office equipment I purchased the Tripp Lite brand.

I would buy this product again And recommend it to others.
I think this product is very well thought out. It is made of very high-quality materials. I use this as an extension to be able to reach my outlet because of built in shelving. My old surge protector kept popping every time I turned on my compressor. This allows me to plug several different electrical units into it without tripping a circuit.

Wanted black so not noticeable behind out tv with about 6 things plugged in. Looks sharp now with black cords etc. nice end piece so there is room for bug plugs like chargers/transformer. You get what you pay for folks.

Accept No Substitutes
After losing a PS5 to a power surge and it being entirely unrepairable, I now have peace of mind being able to see that the strip is both "grounded" and "protected", and equally have a sense of when I may need to replace the whole thing (covered by TrippLite). Could not be happier despite the incident!

Great protection for narrow space

Perfect for my special needs
I was looking for a surge protector for my computer and other devices I use while on the couch. I needed one of the correct to fit under the couch. Narrowness was a factor so I could turn it sideways so it would slide under the couch with the plugs facing forward. This TRIPP was perfect for my needs as is fit just the ay I needed it without binding. I will soon replace other surge protectors in my home with this same model.

A Surge Protector You Can Be Confident In Using
This is working perfectly. I work as a computer technician and we use Trip-Lite products all the time for our battery backups, so it was a no brainer that when came to needing a product for home I would use this product. I trust them and their brand. I highly recommend this one. I bought it to protect my new 49" TV.

Tripp Lite a quality product
I bought this surge protector on reviews I read about Tripp lite. It will be used to protect our Husqvarna Embroidery machine. The machine is valued at $14,999.00, so I need a great product to protect our investment. It arrived with in a few days and came neatly packaged. I feel very good about my choice.

After repeatedly researching the internet for something I could trust, the Tripp-Lite name kept popping up with high marks. Great, compact, powerful and reliable that's how Id describe their products. I own a few of these babies and couldn't be happier, they just put out and last. How do I know? I have one running my PC, Printer, Monitor and speakers for 5 years and it's still going strong. I own this model too and wanted to protect a 1000. stereo system so I bought it and can relax and have peace of mind. If you're looking for protection and can't decide on what to buy, nothing on the market beats a Tripp-Lite.

7-Outlet Surge Protector
This 7-outlet surge protector works great! I replaced a burned out A P C multi outlet extension with this one. So far, I have been very pleased after one month of use. The side outlets hold the box type adaptors well.

Tripp Lite power strip is better than the others
I purchased the Tripp Lite power strip to replace another brand that was totally unreliable. The other brand would loose power if bumped because the plugs were very loose. The Tripp Lite has plugs on the side so that large chargers don't cover the other outlets. The status lights provide basic information on the condition of the power.

Great Protection - Always Dependable / Reliable
We, as a family, have various models of Tripp Lite surge protectors. This model we bought for our kids when going off to college. They hit the 'sweet spot' in terms of price, joules rating and cord length. This model mainly protects their laptops and TVs. We have not had any issues with these Tripp Lite models in the past but we also don't think they have been hit with a large electrical surge / spike. Ultimately, that would be the true test.

Top quality power solutions.
These days we typically buy from Amazon and want things cheap. But when it comes to power strips, you shouldn't buy off brands, as they have hidden issues, and cause fires. I have been using Tripp-Lite for more than 25 years. Never an issue. This brand is as reliable as they come.

Right angle plug allows it to be placed behind entertainment centers and stereo stands. Long cord allows placement anywhere you need it. It has enough plugs for what I need it for. Can't beat the $75,000 insurance it comes with.

Great reviews! I'll always look for the Tripp-Lite brand
After my last TV suffered a power board failure, I wasn't about to chance the old surge protector failing on the new set. I like the design on the Tripp-Lite which handles my 'wall-worts' just fine. And I like the peace of mind that I get knowing that the new Tripp-Lite won't let a weakened circuit slip a surge through to the new TV.

A Sturdy Power Outlet Actually Worth Buying
A good, sturdy power outlet that is patently different from the cheaper power outlets that you might be tempted to buy, but in reality, you should avoid. I like the fact that it has power outlets in different directions. I like the fact that it has insurance, which, if honored, would make this power outlet a real no-brainer for people that have expensive equipment.

My Go Brand For A High Quality Surge Protector
The Tripp Lite Super7B 7 outlet surge protector had the 2160 joule rating, the lowest pass through ratings, enough outlets, a long enough cord, an excellent warranty that their customer reviews say they follow through on. They seem to be one of those rare companies who make an excellent product and back it up if there is an issue. This was my first purchase, several weeks later I purchased a second one. I feel confident that it's going to do the job.

Great product, superior low voltage clamping
I have purchased several isobars and ultra block for two eights for my home. Needed something with a few more outlets but still offering superior surge protection. This power bar fit the bill perfectly. Still clamps at low-voltage, which is the most important for me.

Quirky but practical
It's a strange aesthetic design, I'd prefer the strip be longer instead of the side ports. The widen top portion also makes it hard to fit certain places.
Sturdy construction and high j rating, overall a good value from Trip Lite. I currently use three of these.

The three plugs at the end allow the socket hogging power blocks room to allow three a the end, leaving the rest available for normal plugs. Well designed, a long enough cord to reach were you want and a high Joules value on the surge. Also has the 45 degree plug so you can plug in two flat plugs into one standard outlet.
