Medical-Grade Temperature Sensor Protects Connected Battery from Excessive Heat

This medical temperature sensor provides extra fault protection for the sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries in your Tripp Lite HC150SL or HCINT150SL power module for mobile medical carts. The HCTHERMISTOR lets the power module shut down battery charger if the battery’s temperature exceeds 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit). It helps prevent overcharging, which can protect the connected battery and prolong its lifespan.

Compatible with Tripp Lite Medical Power Modules

Connect the RJ45 end of the two-foot medical-grade temperature sensor cable to the temperature sensor port on your power module. The other end is a ring terminal that connects to the battery’s negative post.
