Flawless Surge Protection
The Tripp-Lite Isobar is staple surge protection for my wood pellet stove, that's never let me down. After 10 years of flawless operation accidental water exposure shorted-out my Isobar, which did its job and protected the sensitive electronic controller board in my connected pellet stove. Mission accomplished and I immediately bought and installed a replacement Isobar. After all, I wouldn't trust any other surge protector!

Wish I bought one with more outlets! Peace of mind!
I thought this after a standard big box store, surge protector, failed to keep my treadmill from flipping breakers and knocking the lights out. My treadmill's power board was fried from being plugged into the previous rig. Fortunately, my warranty covered it because it was a $300 repair. I found reviews about this Tripp lite surge protector and knew it was exactly what I was looking for. The benefits far outweigh the expense, and I only wish I had bought one with more outlets on it.

I switched my internet connection to a 5G product. this does a great job of protecting that product from surges. it's built solid and is compact. its just right for this use.

Great size for available space
Have been using Tripp Lite Isobars for many years and like all the others, this one is exactly what I needed for the small space available. The only "issue" (and reason for the less than 5-star rating) is that it would be nice to have the "protection present, fault and line ok" lights on the housing.

Inexpensive Protection
Mounting this surge protector inside stereo furniture was quick and easy. Included power switch made it simple to control power to sub-woofer and equalizer. It makes real sense to have power surge protection after spending thousands of dollars for a premium HIFI system.

Just what I needed
The issue I had when I needed to reboot my modem if my internet was down was the hassle of trying to unplug the modem and re-plug it back in. Since it was plugged into my surge protector under a table. So with the two outlet surge protector I am able to plug just the modem into which I have easy access to it so when I need to reboot the modem I just have to shut off the surge protector. Real easy and still protecting my modem.

Happy with Tripp-Lite
I plugged two basic power strips into the isobar, then 11 low power devices. Got the isobar, 2 of them and it looks like they were shipped from the Tripp-Lite warehouse in IL. Removed a side plate and the internals are packed and high quality, it's genuine. I like the lifetime warranty and insurance, and that it's designed in U.S.

Very useful for more flexible placement.
The 6 foot chord gives me freedom of placement for keeping my delicate electronics powered up in areas where I was unable to do so before. I have used Tripp Lite surge protectors for years, and they have saved thousands of dollars worth of equipment for me in the past from line surges and lightning strikes that damaged other equipment that was not protected by these systems.

High quality surge protector for my treadmill.
My house has never been struck my lightning, and I haven't had to replace a single electronic device (that I know of) because of electrical surges. But I don't want to be in that category either. I needed an extension cord for both my treadmill and my FIR sauna bed, and I wanted surge protection for both. They were quite expensive, and I use them frequently (okay, maybe not the treadmill so much). I love this Isobar surge protector. It's high quality, a brand I trust, and offered at a fair price. I love the 6 ft cord too. I love everything about it, even how it looks. Maybe now I'll use the treadmill more.

The Right One To Purchase
After purchasing an LG washer and dryer I wanted to protect those precious little circuit boards. I tested the maximun amp usage of each with an amp meter and found I was under the 12 amp limit for this protector. Tripp-Lite protects all my other components throughout my house for many years.I trust their products and they stand behind them. I am not compensated in any way for this review. This is the one to get for thorough surge and over amp protection.

Use one on my refrigerator. Originally used for pro sound
I use this isobar on my refrigerator. This was actually a purchased over 10 years ago to remove generator whine from my public address system when doing outside events which it did extremely well. I never connected my sound equipment to any source without using it. It worked quite well. Since the pro-audio business has evolved to near nonexistent and I am aging, I repurposed the isobar to my kitchen to protect the compressor of the refrigerator from line surges. It and the refrigerator has survived two lightning events with no damage.

TrippLite Surge Protectors are top notch
I use this to protect a single 10", 300 watt subwoofer. Just like my Ultra8 and Ultra4, it provides me peace-of-mind during routine storms. TrippLite surge protectors have very low clamping voltages, isolated banks, heavy-duty construction, etc., making them my preferred brand.
This particular model is well-built and yet small enough to keep out of the way. It also has a handy on/off button which is more accessible than the power button on the back of the subwoofer plate amp.

Peace of mind protection
Have some pretty pricey gear that I didn't want to just plug straight into the wall outlet. Tripp-Lite has a great reputation and I am confident if there was a power surge/power issue, this gear would be protected and not cause my wallet to weep due to replacement cost of the gear.

Well built, sturdy feeling surge protector. I use this for live music applications and it does a good job of filtering out some RF type noise that can be in the power line and affect amplifiers. Just wish it had indicator lights showing Ground Faults or Protection Active like it's bigger brothers.

Sturdy and Compact
The pull down selections for this product appear to be intended for a gps unit (?!). Even when I tried to register this unit, it was really difficult to find the right product on the TrippLite web site (still not sure Air I got the right one). Regardless, the 2-6 power bar purchased is a basic unit with a few limitations. The metal housing is a nice touch, as I've seen competitors' products burn when subjected to a surge.

Chose an isobar surge protector because each outlet is protected separately. I have my central vac plugged into one outlet in garage and save the extra outlet when I need to plug something in temporarily at that end of the garage.

My new 'Go To' device to protect electronics!
We invested in an indoor bike, pretty expensive, and wanted to ensure it's protection from the storms we get in the Northeast. After much research we found that this product fit the bill and then some. Tripp-Lite guarantees protection, insuring your product. Other reviews were one satisfied person after another. We use our bike about 5 times per week. This device is easy to shut-off our bike. The bike itself doesn't have an on/off switch for the technology, which we found to be odd, so having the Tripp-Lite on/off switch has really helped give us better security and protection. I also love the size of this protector, making it easy to keep out of the way.

I will purchase again.
This product is a wonder. I have old school wireless speakers which need to be tuned to parity with the transmitter, static happens often. This product has cut that by 75%. I believe I need a second to connect to equipment which I hoping will stop all. Reason for the four stars,,,,, the plugs. The distance plus design means you need to check plugs and converts you intend to plug in. I got lucky but will need to examine for next purchase. Of course it surge protection is also needed.
