The standby BC350 UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise that can damage valuable electronics or destroy data. The six-outlet 120V battery backup is ideal protection for your home office, media center or professional kiosk, security and small-business phone applications, including computers, routers, printers, HDTVs, Blu-ray players, game consoles, ATMs, security systems and digital signage equipment.

Allows Time to Back Up Critical Files During a Blackout
Backup support allows you to work through short power failures and gives you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Backup time varies according to load, but the BC350 should keep an energy-efficient desktop computer with small LCD monitor powered as long as 13 minutes. During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the replaceable internal battery fully charged, so backup power will always be available. Battery independent restart ensures automatic UPS power-up without user interaction after lengthy power outages, even when batteries are expired and require replacement.

Three 5-15R outlets provide battery backup and surge protection for your computer, monitor and other crucial component. The other three 5-15R outlets provide surge suppression only for printers, speakers and other desktop equipment regarded as non-essential during a blackout. There was a very bad Electrical\Thunderstorm in my area of Canada, Ontario and I plugged in the unit and my computer to the "BATTERY BACKUP" throughout the day the Thunder got very bad and struck close to the house which turned off the power for my apartment. Luckily for me the unit saved my computer from automatically shutting off thus hurting either Hardware or Software. It gave me more than enough time to shut my system off properly and safely.

It will help keep the modem going so when a power outage occurs, I will get a message from another device that the power is off. Necessary for our stupid refrigerator that will not restart even if we get a glitch. I like the direction and distance of the outlets so the large power supplies can plug in without interfering with each other.

On a couple of occasions, building power has gone out briefly. Without this UPS, it would take 3-4 minutes to reboot and be ready to play again; plus, I would lose any unsaved changes to my music score. It is small and light for easy transport and placement. It has enough run time to power what I need through short power interruptions, or until I can save and shut down. Price was reasonable and I have had great luck and performance from all Tripp-Lite products I have used.

We have used three major brands of UPS/Backups for some time but we noticed that two other brands were not protecting us from short-term outages as was expected. When we discussed this with a Tripp-lite support person, we found the Tripp was the only one to live up to it's data sheets. It never fails to continue to hold power when storms cause short interruptions.

Was chosen over competition for the keyhole mounting slots although they are such that the unit must be installed vertically rather then the horizontal mounting I'd have preferred. The 180W unit is actually overkill for our application, powering a weBoost cell phone booster and Verizon MiFi Hot Spot, but our power blinks or goes out at least every other day. We are located four houses from the end of the line. The only negative with the unit is that the key hole slots are molded in with support at both ends so that, as received, the mounting screws can only slide about 40% into the slot. I've been a Ham Radio operator and an Electrical Engineer for some 60 years so had no qualms about opening it and clipping the excess plastic from that end to allow the screws to go completely into the slot. Could probably have clipped it without opening the case but found this easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great UPS for small needs I purchased this unit about 10 months ago to run my DSL modem, my router and an 8 port switch. It has run continously without fail throughout several power outages and kept my data flowing. My only quibble is that the outlets don't swivel. All of these devices run on "wall warts" and I've searched everywhere for outlet adapters that will allow them to connect to the UPS and fit into my small data distrubution box neatly. So far no luck! Oh, well...It's still a great little UPS! Thanks Tripp-Lite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silent in battery mode, replaceable battery, no bad smell! I bought my first BC350 7 months ago, so I've had it for awhile now. The unit works flawlessly! It works so well I just bought a second one. This model is silent in battery mode; the only time the alarm will sound is if the battery gets too low or there is some type of fault, so there's no menu to fiddle with. Also, the battery is replaceable, unlike some other brands. And finally, these don't have that permeating smell that I've experienced with other brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For the DVR. The TIVO DVR goes bonkers every time the power blinks. It looses the internet link and time setting. It drops all scheduled recordings. Resetting the TIVO is difficult and tedious. I put one of the Tripp UPS devices on the TIVO and the other on the modem. Since then there has been several power blinks but the TIVO has maintained the internet link. No major power outages, but small ones that used to upset TIVO. It seems to be working and I'm glad not to have to reset and reprogram the TIVO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, I would buy these items again. This may cause me to be disquailfied from the drawing, BUT, we did not purchase this 1/16/2023. We purchased this 11/1/2022. We moved into a Senior Living Community Nov. 2020 and before we moved in we purchased two Tripp-Lite battery backups for our apartment. One to service Television, and support devices (Modem, Service Provider Box, DVD Player, one of our extension house phones and Cell Phone Charger). The other was for my computer equipment and main house phone, our electric recliners and one main room Lamp. My wife used a surge protecter for about a year. But we had some outages here so we purchased the above Tripp-LIte for her computer equipment & Printer, Liight and other office products. The two original ones were very helpful during the 2021 storm we had here in Texas. We could periodicly check on TV to see the progress of restoring electric service and periodically turning on the lights. Yes, one time the power went off when my recliner was in the reclining position, so I was able to use the Backup to put it back to sitting position - no more need to replace the batteries in the chairs. We have used Tripp-lite Battery Backups for several years. Downsizing to the apartment meant we would not had as many wall outlets to support the various electric items. So we concentrated the Trip-Lite units and had them support more items. The below headline did not give me much space. What I could not put in the headline was that because of the quality I have had with the Tripp-Lite Battery Backups over the many years, it will be many years before I need to do that.

I have one BC350 providing power to both my primary Starlink wireless router and a WeBoost cell phone booster. Another BC350 provides power to a secondary Starlink wireless router and the CPAP on my nightstand. It tooks seconds to plug in and turn on and just started working immediately. Perfect!

This will be used to keep my tankless hot water system operating in a power outage. I made an attempt to understand the difference between the VA and the Wattage but either way it falls within my loading factor. Adding an explanation in the documentation would be nice.

I know there will be a dropout when the lights dim and flicker and the power goes out for a second or two or several minutes or more. That is enough to drop the internet so I can't even see what my solar with backup batteries are doing. I have been using Tripp Lite devices for the last 30 years or so and have never been disappointed in their performance.

I use this product for our desktop computers, our server, plotter and copier. They work great! We seem to have a lot of fluctuating power in this building and the Tripp Lite protects the equipment from that. It also gives us time to save our designs should be the power stay out for any length of time.

The compactness of the BC350 is a perfect fit for a situation in my home that requires a backup power for short time outages effecting a cable DVR, and television. My usage of other higher capacity UPS applications with Tripp Lite products has always been a stress-free experience. You can expect that the BC350 will perform as flawlessly as all the other products offered. Thanks for reading my review.

With numerous power blackouts and interruptions in rural Nevada and having purchased a new mini tower computer, it only makes sense to have an UPS. Using the computer to set on a kitchen counter for recipes and emails the small size of the Tripp-Lite BC-350 fits neatly behind the monitor. Having been a broadcast engineer for over 50 years, I have found Tripp-Lite products among the most reliable in the industry and that is why I chose the Trip-Lite 350VA Standby UPS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would definitely buy this again I have been using this product for business and personal use, but mostly personal. What I have observed is that the electricity in my home is shut down periodically for a minute or so. However, I have the home router hooked up to the Trippe Lite UPS and have not lost power to use my computer or other wi-fi devices during the time the electricity has been turned off. The product has not been in my long enough to test it long term - I will continue to observe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well We have about 10 for all computers. They have worked well for probably 5 years. Started recently having some problems with battery life and will likely have to replace them as they won't hold any charge. Not sure how long they were supposed to last.

It has a small footprint, making it unobtrusive and easy to place. The only concern is the unit gives off heat, and should not be confined in any way. Otherwise, it's a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy replacement of existing unit Our previous Tripplite failed after about 10 years of service in an outdoor shed environment. It failed because a piece of 4x4 fell from the rafter and shattered the poor thing while gouging the battery in the process. Instead of trying to glue it back together and replacing the battery, I picked up this replacement.

I use to protect my Internet connection in case I lose power. If my Internet goes down I lose not only my Internet but my VOIP phone service and fax server as well.

Having this not work when it arrived was not convenient, but not a catastrophe either. The customer service for this problem was excellent. I submitted a warranty request online. Received a response the next day and a replacement on my dock within a week. No complaints, batteries go bad.

Later that afternoon we had a severes thunderstorm, the usual summertime fare for Florida. The power went out and my brand new 350VA took over and was baptised as fully operational. I was able to save all by data and work done that day. Thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Are You Kidding Me OK first I am a real customer. The support guy. I've replaced batteries in 98% of the units that I have. No I haven't contacted T-L directly. I have an internal group that deals with all my "equipment issues" The bottom line you get what you pay for. In this case you get something that once the power goes out and it runs thru it's battery when the power comes back on you MUST power it back on. REALLY? Who's bright idea was that? So I know when storms come thru areas that I have these either I start driving around to turn them back on or any site I support will be dead in the water, so to speak. Not exactly what I wold call a UPS.

I recommend this product to all who want their electronic equipment protected from surges. I've never had a problem with Tripplite equipment, and will keep on using it until I stop using electronic gear,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what I need This is a great little unit - I keep it in a CPU cabinet where I plug in the CPU, the monitor and a power strip (where I can turn off some desktop speakers I keep too high to reach easily). Its a narrow space and this fits really well. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OK UPS Purchased 3 units. First power outage 1 out of 3 died in first 2 months. Maybe due to weird power fluctuations ... But it is a UPS!!! It supposed to be designed for weird power conditions. Also, complicated power button is non-intuitive. Had to teach staff how to turn on and off. Hold for 2 seconds. No longer, no less, or otherwise goes into some strange test modes. Other 2 units are still working correctly.

When other businesses around us loose power or internet connections, we keep on operating; our cash registers can continue to process orders even when the internet goes down, and our Tripplite UPS units keep our cash registers running! Ya'll want fries with that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Review of BC350 UPS This UPS won't back up a huge computer system but it will work great for a laptop computer or a small desktop computer. I use mine to backup a "Magicjack" telephone system connected to an older laptop computer. It works great! The nice thing about a UPS is the power that it provides to what is connected to it goes through the battery first so it gives a stable voltage and a superior spike and surge protector. Of course there is really nothing to setup, just plug it in and you are good to go. I have not had to do anything to it so it really is plug and play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice for the price I use it to back up my network devices (router, modem etc.). It does that nicely. The only issue is that you can not sicelence the alarm when the power is off. Very annoying. That tidbit of information was not clearly pointed out in the description.

It has a relatively small footprint, but I would have preferred a "vertical" orientation rather than a "horizontal" orientation. The unit generates heat when running, even if idle, so you must provide adequate ventilation and an open environment. My area has frequent power outages, so this unit is essential to have. So far it has worked perfectly to protect my data. I have several Tripp Lite surge protectors, so I trust this product.

Recently the internal battery failed in the old one and I decided to purchase another for our main PC. I ordered a replacement battery for the old unit to repair it for use on our spare PC. Both UPS units are currently running well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very user friendly. Two features of this unit are the basis for my 5-star rating. The first one answers a pet peeve of mine. The wall plug is a 90-degree version which means you can safely place a desk, workstation, etc. up against the plug without worrying about bending or stressing the power cord. My second peeve is that I don't care about connecting one of my (too few) PC USB ports to signal a power outage. I don't leave my protected devices on all the time. If I hear the beeps, I am sitting there and can do my own file protective save and app shutdown. If that describes your use of this unit, it's effectively a plug-and-play device.
