The Targus AWU420GL is recommended for users docking only a DeX-capable Samsung phone. It has all the functionality of the original Samsung DeX dock, but Targus has added SD/uSD card support. The AWU420GL can also be used with many other phone brands, but a capable Samsung device is needed to run in DeX mode.

It does work better with Samsung and Motorola devices but can be used with others. Basically I use it to mirror apps from a smartphone to a desktop or laptop. A good product for tech smart people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I'll admit I didn't know what to expect from this when I got it as I'm quite the luddite, but this dock proved to be quite the incredible tool in such a small package. Setup is ridiculously easy, and I used my S21 and hooked it up to a portable keyboard I had and was seriously impressed. Absolutely get one of these if you travel and bring a keyboard and a USB cable or three and you will quite literally have a computer in your hand.

Very easy to use and its not heavy alot so i can carry on my bag perfect sizing and excellent quality!!!

My husband's phone fits perfect, but mine is a z fold so I'm unable to use the standup function to plug into. I do like how we can use this for multiple things, vs just one. Easy to plug in and start charging devices.

I love that I don't have to unplug anything to make room for something, it's right here. So easy to set up and to even take on the go. We use it all the time and for everything. We have recommended it to friends and family.

I love how small it is and doesn’t take up much desk space at all. The one thing I wish this had is wireless phone charging. That would be a huge bonus.

It’s great for SO many things.. charging of course, can charge my phone and watch at the same time because there is more than one USB port, you can also connect your phone to the tv, it’s also convenient just for FaceTime videos it holds it up well for you so you can chat hands free without it falling over or only having one hand available. Love it!!

You can charge your while while also doing so much else with it like connecting to your tv. I have no had any problems with it so far and now that I have it I am not sure how I go back to how I was doing it all before!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All In One Unit I placed this on my nightstand to charge my phone while I sleep. The box only included the unit, no cords or plugs. Once I plugged it in, there is a very bright green light that is always lit and it made my dark room even brighter. There are a lot of input outlets to charge numerous items at once. I think I will re-locate the unit since I cannot turn the green light off, but other than that it is a nice all in one device!

You can connect a keyboard to it also and charge to devices at the same time. All while taking up a small amount of space and it stays out of the way an d its very lightweight.

I hate carrying a lot of things when I travel. With this docking station and a folding keyboard/mouse combo, I basically have a desktop when I'm in the room without having to carry any extra baggage. I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I couldn't make it work. I was very excited to try this Universal USB-C Phone Dock, but unfortunately, I couldn't make it work properly. I tried it with 2 of my phones: Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I'm unsure what I was doing wrong, but nothing worked except the headphones. I connected them to the dock and could use them with my Galaxy S21 Ultra (a good thing for me since S21 Ultra doesn't have a headphone jack). However, nothing else worked. The phones weren't charging at all, even though the phones were showing the "charging" symbol on top of the screen. I think I tried everything and used a bunch of different cables (explicitly ordered for this port) to see if that was the problem. I couldn't connect it to my computers, so I couldn't read a CD card and do other things the dock was supposed to do. I'm disappointed because I was planning to use this phone dock daily.

This makes life so much simpler and easier. I definitely recommend to anyone with a Samsung phone whobusing their as much as I this wanting to make life easier,and fewer things to travel with because it doesn't take up any room

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Many Ways to Use! This phone dock opens so many new doors to ways that I can use my phone. I've hooked my phone up to our TV to show my photos and screen to others. I've charged my phone on it. I've also just simply used it to hold my phone upright to read recipes while cooking. I still exploring and learning all of the ways I can use this dock to enhance my phone use. The only downside is it didn't come with directions or an idea sheet for what you can do with all of the ports so I've been doing my own research online figuring out how to optimize my phone use with it. I wish it came with better directions or even some of the cords needed to complete the hookups but we do have so many random cords in our house I easily found most of what I need. Overall, this little dock is easy to set up your phone on and opens so many more doors to effective ways to use your phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't charge my phone When I'm at home, I plug my phone in one of two places, the bedroom or the living room. Rather than having to move a cord back and forth, I was looking forward to having a base for my phone throughout the day. However, I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 and I'm disappointed with the charging capabilities of this dock. Not only do I have to push it down hard, it also has to be sitting at the right angle or it doesn't charge, and this is with or without the cover. What this is good for? Running my table top fan which is usually plugged into my laptop. I received this product for an honest review.

This is one of the hardest products I have gotten in a while.. it saves you so much time of change your cords and switching out chargers and hookups. This product is very high quality and easy as one two three to get started. I'm so happy to find a product that takes the stress out of your everyday work on your phone pc or whatever you need to use. Even your keyboard and headset. Just amazing piece of technology. I give it a ten. Will continue to buy and use this product. Thank you for a great product.

I can easily connect my phone charger to the dock, insert sd card, plug my Ethernet cable into it, it just WORKS all around for me and my work from home needs. I love how small it is and doesn’t take up much desk space at all. Best thing yet, I don’t have to crawl under my desk to plug or unplug anything now. The one thing I wish this had is wireless phone charging. That would be a huge bonus. Great product overall and absolutely recommend to those working from home!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USB-C just sucks for anything besides charging some times it works and sometimes it doesn't. I can't figure out why. I bought his so I could plug in a headset with 3.5mm jack for calls while charging my phone. My phone is a samsung Galaxy S22 that doesn't have a headset jack; I need to use a usb-c adapter. This is the 5th device I've tried, and I'm still not happy.
