Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useless Absolute garbage!!! works sporadically at best and also causes the OS(Windows 10) to lock up/freeze momentarily (tried on 2 different PC's with the same results)the troubleshooting sucks, The drivers you are directed to download for windows 10 per their article doesn't exist on their website. The driver that is on their web site won't install properly(Will not "validate the product") Just a hot mess!!! A Bluetooth adapter should not be this complicated to install!!! and by the way NO the drivers do not just start to install when the device is plugged in as it should and their troubleshooting article say it "should".. Cant even return it cause I threw the packaging and receipt away..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from don't waste your money I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted almost $40 on this product. Takes hours to download the software and then the adaptor doesn't work. Horrible. Can't wait to see if I get a "thanks for visiting us" response....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sucks. Wont recognize device. I have bough two of these and followed the directions. Specifically "do not connect the adapter to your computer until the software drivers are installed." this should be so easy to do. What a terrible product. Thought the first was faulty. Now ive wasted my money and they have profited off a non working product. The install of the bluetooth adapter will not recognize the micro usb adapter. Trash company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ABSOLUTE GARBAGE TRASH!!!! Bought one of these from my local STAPLES store for my ASUS laptop running windows 10 that had no Bluetooth.Downloaded software that came with it as well as looking for other recommended versions to download to try.Unit plays sound for a short second or so and then no sound for a second or so and keeps doing this over and over at a constant rate. Tried to return to STAPLES and they would not give a refund.Waiste of about $42. Bought one on EBay for less than $10 shipping included and has been working great for months. This is a rip-off scam company, just read their replies and see. I am going to send out my team of employees to buy up all of these at all the local STAPLES stores and anywhere else, have them rip open the packages and test and return the bad ones within a couple days so I get credit until none are left on shelves anywhere. How can a reputable store like STAPLES sell garbage with a 2 star rating and not even stand behind it ???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a piece of garbage! I wanted to use my Bose wireless headphones with my computer, but didn't have a bluetooth card. Dongle to the rescue! Nope. Paired with my headphone, but every single time I try to listen to anything on my computer, I get a second of sound, then a second of silence, then a second of sound, then a second of silence ... over and over and over. I reloaded the drivers, checked the usb ports, made sure my brand new Bose headphones were working on another device, restarted, and a second of sound, then a second of silence, then a second of sound, then a second of silence. I'm going to call their help line Monday, but for something that's supposed to be plug and play, this gizmo is a piece of garbage!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't realize Targus would build crap I bought this a couple of months ago, but couldn't get it to work. Didn't try uninstalling and reinstalling as I was distracted by other priorities. Recently went back to it to get bluetooth on my Dell desktop under Windows 10. Never got it to work. I don't recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CDW is shipping the 4.0 adapter; doesn't work on a Mac The description says this is a 2.0 adapter, but CDW is shipping the 4.0 adapter. The product number listed is for the 4.0 adapter. Doesn't work on a MacPro1,1, OS 10.6.8. When plugged in the computer doesn't recognize it as a Bluetooth device.
