The Targus Patented Checkpoint-Friendly 14" Corporate Traveler case is designed to help you clear airport security without removing your laptop from the bag. This case is specially designed to split down the middle, thereby isolating the laptop on the one side to allow for clear x-ray scanning. Designed to fit 14" widescreen laptops and weighing just over 3 pounds, this case features lightweight and durable ballistic 1680 denier nylon fabrication and also includes the patented SafePort Air Cushion System to help prevent drop damage. This protection system features adjustable cushions inside of the case to protect your laptop and provide a snug fit for smaller laptops. The case features a dedicated file section, zip-down workstation with business card holder, pen loops, key clip and multiple accessory compartments to keep items organized. For added comfort, the case includes a padded ergonomic shoulder strap with non-slip coating to keep the pad in place on your shoulder. This Targus briefcase/computer case/travel bag is not as large or roomy or wide as the Targus briefcase/computer case that I bought many (25+ years ago at Comp USA (now out of business) but it is quite clearly fabricated from the highest quality materials. The design is neat, orderly and still roomy with many well designed compartments. I especially like the design of the flat and easy to grip handles which are exceedingly comfortable/ergonomic (is the word, I think), sturdy and sure. I am delighted to have finally replaced my last faux leather briefcase with this nylon Targus briefcase which is far superior, even though not as large as my old briefcase. Thank you, folks at Targus.

Well designed, very functional
Great, high-quality travel briefcase. Could be a bit wider to accommodate a book and/or additional paperwork when traveling. Aside from that, I think it's perfect.

Well-Designed, High Quality Bag
I travel frequently for business, and I have been very pleased with this purchase. I bought this bag to replace a competitor's product, and I am consistently impressed with how much better this Targus bag is designed and constructed. The shoulder strap is well cushioned and well-made, and the hardware is thoughtfully designed. For example, most metal parts are coated in quality plastic to reduce jangling and improve the feel of touch points like zipper pulls. I'm also pleased that the TSA-compliant butterfly action still keeps the laptop securely enclosed while the bag is opened at the middle for airport screening. The laptop padding is effective, and the other compartments are usefully apportioned with lots of nice details throughout. Highly recommended!
