Rated 5 out of 5 by from This case does NOT provide good grip. Look elsewhere. This used to be a great case when it had silicone ribs. It wouldn't slide on smooth surfaces and it was very easy to hold in one hand for selfies. Then they replaced the silicone ribs with molded plastic ribs. Now the phone is just as slippery as if it had no grip at all. It completely defeated the purpose of having grips. They ruined a perfectly good design just to save a few pennies on manufacturing. I returned mine. The older model on my older phone was great, this one is terrible.

I got the pink one and it has picked up every single bit of dirt it comes in contact with and now the case is totally filthy. I'm a clean person with clean hands so I'm not sure how it looks like this. My boyfriend got the blue case and it still looks brand new. I've tried cleaning it and nothing is working to get the dirt off. I'll have to get a new case at this point. Other than that, it's super lightweight and easy to hold.

Due to the case design and the hard plastic camera ring, instead of making the case a little thicker and flat on the back, the case will slide across any smooth surface like it on ice. This case caused me more concern than comfort. Looking for a new case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case. One small suggestion. I have used a number of iPhone cases over the years from different companies. This may be the best one yet. Great fit on the phone and feel in the hand. Definitely feels more secure and robust in terms of protection without adding a lot of bulk or weight. For those that are comparing this to prior models with raised ribs on the back for the grip, note that for MagSafe compatibility, that would presumably make the case too thick, which is likely why the recessed grip ribs on this model. It still feels very secure in the hand. I have one small suggestion, which is to round the outer surface edges of the holes on the bottom of the case for the lightning connector and the speakers. There are times when the sharper edges of these holes dig into my fingers as I hold the phone, depending upon what I am doing.

So the case is not non-slip, which is a bummer, but this version DOES have magsafe, so it's the case I use anytime I am taking my phone out and about, or working in the garage. Great protective case!

The magsafe is strong enough that I could hold the weight of the iPhone 13 Pro Max so I am confident that accessories would be without any problems. With the grip it is not slippery and felt good in the hand.

This is my 4th Speck case. Speck has saved my phone from damage several times when I fumbled my phone and dropped it on the concrete floor of my garage. The phone was totally protected. I highly recommend this product.

It is not very sticky or non-slip, but I was looking for a case that wouldn't get caught on my pockets all the time. The case does grip well with the ridges on the sides and the material does a decent job gripping to other surfaces (while allowing for some slip as mentioned above).

The only thing holding this case back from being perfect is the way it squeaks when gripping my phone. There is just enough wiggle and stickiness between the iPhone's bezel and the case's inner material that it creaks and squeaks under pressure. Otherwise, it's a great case.

I've been a dedicated buyer of the grip cases now for the past few years and they've never disappointed me. On the rare day I accidentally drop my phone, the device has never been damaged. It's also really hard to slip out of your hand or off of most surfaces when you set the device down. The only thing I wish Speck would do is bring back the black and white color scheme grip cases. That was my favorite.

They took away the rubber grips on the outside, and replaced it with indented voids in the case. This decreases the "grip" in which the case is named after. increasing the "slickness" of the case is not ideal for dropping it. Feels like they made budget cuts and made the product cheaper versus previous iterations.

I just upgraded to the iPhone 13 Pro Max (I never get the newest phone) and wanted to make certain from Day One that it was protected. I particularly like this model because of the grippy ridges on the side and back. The phone feels secure in my grip. Was sad to see that cases are 50% off during Cyber Monday... Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wireless Charging Pretty Much Impossible with This New Case I had a version of this case—which I otherwise love because of the ridges that keep it from slipping and make it easier to hold for photographing—for my iPhone X Max and the wireless worked great. No so much on this one. I have to position my phone on the charger with great precision now (rather than just placing it there) and it won't work in my car's wireless charger at all. Disappointing. I will be replacing it very soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New case material looks and feels great I had an older Presidio Grip case on an older iPhone and really liked the great grip that the soft rubber ribs provided. However, the soft rubber would flex too much causing it to crack and tear away from the case over time, especially if you slid the phone in and out of a tight pocket a lot. This new Presidio grip case for my iPhone 13 pro max is a great compromise. The ribs are now the same material as the case so they can not tear off over time. The new case material is more grippy formula that the old case material and has a very high quality matte finish which makes the case look expensive. This new plastic material used in the case is a great improvement. While not as grippy as my old Presidio Grip case with the co-injected soft rubber ribs, the new Presidio grip case is nearly as grippy, has a better matte finish, feels great n your hand with the new case material, and the ribs will last the life of the case and not tear away over time like the rubber ribs on the old case did.

After trying a handful of different brands, he was feeling a bit disheartened in his search. Those that were protective were too heavy. Those that were a decent size felt slippery. And some just down right looked cheap and flimsy. I went ahead and purchased this case as a Christmas present. And I'm happy to say, Goldilocks is finally appeased! The case is protective, not too thin or too thick, not too heavy and has a good grip. MagSafe works great. I will say, having had Speck cases before I expected the back design to be a raised grip instead of an engraved design. I suppose this is to help with the MagSafe capabilities? I'm not sure but it works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprising I've always used speck grip cases (candy shell grip and presidio grip) on every phone I've owned and I've never dropped them. I didn't realize this one didn't have the raised rubber grips like the the regular presidio grip (probably to make it MagSafe compatible) so I was super skeptical when it arrived. Surprisingly, this case is just as good as the one with the rubber grips. I have no doubt that my phone won't slip out of my hand because of this case and if it happens to accidentally slip, there's enough bulk to this case that I won't have to worry about my phone being damaged.

It's not as bulky as the otter boxes I've used before and the grip and texture make it easy to hold, not slippery and yet you can still slide it in your pocket with ease. Today I accidentally dropped my phone and it landed on the corner of the shower base on the floor. It was like slow motion watching it fall and praying it wouldn't break. The case held up to its name and my phone has no injuries. Happy customer here.

I have a MagSafe car mount and after using it one time, the case shows a ton of wear and tear where the magnets are. Being a MagSafe compatible case I would think it would hold up and not be damaged so easily. Everything else about the case is great.

The ridges on the side provide a firm grip and is still comfortable to hold. MagSafe accessories work like they're supposed to.

I love how grippy this case is, because the 13 pro max is a big phone, but when I grip my phone, this case creaks. When I talk on the phone, it's kind of a problem. I have butter fingers and tend to drop my device way to often for comfort. Thankfully, this case allows me to breathe easy and maintain confidence that my device is protected. MagSafe work beautifully, and I love the grips, which occasionally prevents me from dropping it.

I am now on iPhone 13 Pro Max with MagSafe and let me tell you it has not disappointed. I have an active lifestyle and I drop my phone a lot…I mean A LOT!!! Not once has my phone had any damage whatsoever. Their cases hug the phone so well adding minimal weight or bulk to the phone. I've even had to do a warranty claim a few years ago and it was super easy and they were quick to get another on out to me. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Experienced a few drops and phone and case have always held up. I really like the grips on side. Due to the MagSafe, the back of the case has indents rather than grip extrusions (so it's flat) as an FYI for anyone who is reading this and may find it helpful.

Only wish is that I could have a case that handles Q chargers and a phone handle /strap-such as the Love Handle phone grip. I drop the phone much less with the grip/strap but have read that if I install that piece-I cannot get the charger to link up through my case. There has to be a way to design for both in mind!!!!

And I'm clumsy! The grips on the Presideio2 Grip are enough that my phone doesn't slide out of my hand, but also not so much they catch on my pockets. I'm grateful I can charge through the case itself without taking the cover off. I'm glad I protected my investment with another Speck case!

There's just one thing, it could have a bit more grip on the sides. I just miss the rubbery stripes from a couple of years back. The bottom line is I'll keep trusting my phone to a speck* case anytime even though it's greatness could be better.

My initial impression "this looks bulky" but once you put it on your iPhone it's really not that bulky. It feels grippy and something that I am looking for. I am someone who has sweaty palms and most cases become uncomfortable. This Presidio2 does a great job keeping it in my hands and doesn't let it sweat too much, it allows more airflow. So super happy with that. The phone case itself is nice grey color with the red branding logo. Not bad and looks good. The MagSafe is magnets are very strong and keep a great hold of my MagSafe wallet. The magnets feel stronger than Apple first-party cases. Overall, price to value this is a great case for the following: +Grip +Feel in hand + Color gradients + Strong Magnets + Strong Protection

A recent incident with my iPhone 12 Pro Max ended with me replacing it with an iPhone 13 Pro Max. As expensive as these phones are I decided to try a case. After much research I decided on this Speck case. It doesn't really add a lot of bulk to my phone. It fits great and the grip helps ensure I'm not dropping my smooth *** phone. I can also put the phone down on my desk without getting the camera teeter that you typically get. Overall, super happy with the purchase. 10/10 would bang.

What is important to me is that the phone case is strong and slip resistant. I had a different manufacturer's case on my new Iphone 13 Pro Max, and I bent over to pick something up from the garage floor and the Iphone slipped out of my shirt pocket. Fortunately it landed on a cardboard box. I ordered the Speck Grip MagSafe, that day, based on my Iphone 7 experience with the Speck product.
