Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grip case is not grippy at all The grip design has changed from previous versions. This case is smooth with plastic feeling ridges, instead of the rubbery ridges it used to have. Still a good case, but I'm disappointed. The old grip cases were better.

The gripping characteristics of the case are very different than the phone cases we have purchased from Speck in the past. These do not grip like they used to. Something in the material composition has changed. Not for the better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice case Fits perfectly. Buttons work well. Good powe connector clearance. S pen access is a bit tight, but I can see why this was done. I would rather have it this way, and keep good corner protection and a reasonable space between the S pen and speaker holes. I think it's a good design. It sits proud of the screen, especially at top and bottom. It would be nice if the sides were a bit taller though, even by 0.5mm or so. Thanks for making a nice case!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They Ruined a Good Thing I had the Presidio Grip case on my last 4 Galaxy phones and loved them. I wasn't that keen on the new color schemes, but went with it anyway, and ordered one for my S22 Ultra. My phone came in today and I immediately put the case on. The first time the phone swiveled, after I bumped the charge cord, I knew something was different... I suspected that I had gotten a case that had slipped through quality control. The rubber ribs on the back were missing... Then I come to this page, look at the photos more carefully, and read some of the reviews that weren't here yet when I pre-ordered. It seems that this is intentional, really? Like one of the other reviewers said, "If it's not broken, don't fix it." The previous cases were incredible. You never had to worry about them sliding around. Now... I'll be returning this as soon as I find something new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No rubber ribbing on the back and sides I bought this case for my brand new s22 ultra. I have used the same model case for my previous 3 phones and loved it bc the rubber added grip and kept it from sliding around (especially great for when I'm in my motorcycle and put it in the mount). This new design got rid of the rubber ridges on the back and side. The back is now just slots in the same shape as the ridges were, and the sides, though having ridges, are plastic making it much more slippery. They took this case in the exact opposite direction than what made the older versions great. Very disappointed.

No raised grips on the back.... Why!? That was what made this case great. Unfortunately I'll probably end up with a different case because of this even if it is bulkier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1 step forward, 3 steps back. Disappointed fails to express my disdain for this case. I've used speck presidio cases since 2017. I loved them for durability, their grippiness, and their comfort. The new presidio has removed all those features. There's nothing better than throwing your phone on your thigh and knowing it's going to stay there while driving down the road. Those days are gone. Gone are the days you could drop your phone knowing it would land on a rubberized corner, not a sharp piece of plastic like the presidio2. Gone are the days that the buttons were rubber and comfortable. Now they're plastic and sharp. Based on Specks response, they've removed the raised rubber in support of better wireless charging. I can tell you with confidence that my Note 10+ with the raised rubber grips achieved "fast wireless charging" on every wireless pad I own when plugged into a Qualcomm 3+ brick. I can also tell you that my old case allowed my note 10+ to wireless charge on my wireless pad built into my truck. That's a weak excuse, Speck. Sell me a OG Presidio that fits a S22 Ultra. I'll sign a waiver that says I won't be mad it doesn't wireless charge as well as it could with a flat back. Wireless charging is a silly feature I hardly ever use. I use my case every single time I touch my phone. Be better.

The case stays in your pocket, is grippy in your hand, and protects from bumps and bruises. I have even taken a spill off my road bike, case did it's job! Thank you for a great product!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Case with a few caveats The Presidio is a great case for grip, if not the best. They now use black thermoplastic (TPU) on the corners for added protection. The Note10+ model has the harder shell material on the corners and was prone to fracturing and cracks. My main gripe is that they completely removed all the rubber grips on the case. Instead of the rubber ribs, you now have ridges which are either depressed or pop outwards on the sides of the phone. This add to grip but is a far cry form the familiar rubber ribs of the Candy Shell and Presidio V.1. While I like the case, I wish I had known that they omitted the rubber. I purchased this case blindly assuming the familiar would be present. While the case may be more durable as we all know the rubber tends to fall off with use, it is missed.

I just got one for my Galaxy S22 Ultra, and it's the same feel as the case I had for my S20+, and my S10, and maybe even my S8 before that (but honestly I can't remember if I had a case for my S8). I don't know what everyone's complaining about. It's perfect. I actually bought a different brand case at first for my new S22 Ultra, thinking it was a Speck. I hated that one. I'm so glad I got this Presidio2 Grip case.

There were some quality issue but Speck fixed those issues and this new case for my S22 Ultra is awesome. Was worried about the price but it is worth it. Overall I feel like my phone is safer from dropping with its 'grippy-ness' and safer from impacts if it does drop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slippery and sadly, not as good as the old Presidio design. The old Presidio design was my go-to for several years on various phones. I assumed this design would be the same on the S22 Ultra, but this no longer has grippy ribs, but instead indentations where the ribs used to be. It makes this case much slipperier than previous Presidios. The case is also wider than I expected, and makes the already-wide S22 Ultra harder to securely hold with one hand. Sadly, I'll return this and stick to the Samsung Protective Standing cover, which is less wide, and suprisingly more grippy, while including a kickstand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from you joined the 'basic' case group with all the other randoms Seems Speck has officially given up o the Andriod line. I've been disappointed in the lack of attention in comparison to the iPhone line options. But now the grip is gone. The buttons don't work. What's the attraction at this point. The clear cases are so frustrating; they don't fit right. I can't even take a screenshot. With all the experience Speck has in the market, and all the right they've done in the past, (outside of the lack of color options), this officially lands Speck in the pile with all the other pointless cases. They are officially overpriced for what it is. 'Merchant Responder', please don't bother responding to this telling me to contact your support team. I've been doing that for years. It's also not my job, I think this feedback is enough, and can easily be passed along to the appropriate persons.

This one leaves me concerned about a face drop. The edges on the sides are far from other models I've purchased. The top and bottom are great. I don't feel as secure with this one. Sorry.

I also work a desk job so I have no need for a crazy thick case. This case handles any tumble like a pro. Best case ever.

The feel of the case not to bulky, not too small, yeah , just right ! With some grip ! I'll stick with Speck and 1 day I wanna see the Speck Candy Shell Grip again !

I bought on line as retailers did not have the color (Coastal Blue) that I wanted. The case fits the phone perfectly with a snug fit and no wiggle room. I like the color. This is a high quality product well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not A Loyal Speck Customer Anymore I have purchased a total of 5 Presidio Grip cases in the last 4 years. The 1st three were great and provided a super grip, which was my number 1 priority, and also excellent drop protection. Then when I purchased my S21 Ultra last year along with another Presidio Grip 2, the grips were no longer rubber but a plastic material. The feeling was now different but I still had a firm grip on the phone. This year I bought the S22 Ultra and another Presidio Grip 2 and was shocked at how slippery the grip had become. So slippery that my number 1 priority was now gone and to me the case was no longer a GRIP case as described! Even the ridges on the sides and back are now slippery. I did make my concern known to customer service but was never called back as promised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge disappointment. I've used this case on Samsung S7, S9 and S20+. Speck has made this case more slippery each time. They have devolved. The newest case for the S22 Ultra is too slippery to use. The ribs on on the side are slippery and the ridges on the back are gone. Products are supposed to get better not worse. I'm shopping for something else and will throw this one away when I find something else. This is a big phone and it needs a grippy case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic case Excellent case. The countours, styling, and fit are all just right. I had the same case on my S21 Ultra as well. The only feature I don't love about this version is the noticable gap in bottom right portion of the camera area. I feel like the case should have a little notch or something to fill that area that quickly collects dust and dirt. But it's a minor thing and I wouldn't let it deter you from picking one up for you phone.

Removing the rubber means I'm finally going to try other options. Bummer! I recommended this case to everyone and became a speck loyalist because of this case. I know the grips weren't perfect but this is worse, in my opinion. Always thought this case was a little ugly but I trusted it. I guess I can look at more fun options now but I don't like change

It is different where the corners aren't all rubber but plastic wedges in each corner if that makes sense. Hopefully it will be the same durability.

But the worst thing about this and shocked they even would design something like this. The hard plastic part around the s pen that has the sharp almost knife sharp edge that is pointed right out to the bottom, so when you hold your phone ( at least way I do) it literally cuts and digs into you pinky finger on the side of your finger!!! I will have a callused finger if I keep this overpriced for what it is case!

Like a phone with no case at all. I was told by customer service you stopped using rubber in your cases. I'm at a loss I use to LOVE your products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ridges are not compatible with Magic Mount magnets. I am using packing tape to keep the magnet attached to the backside of the case where those ridges are. Why do you need ridges on the back if they are on the sides?
