Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement case for previous cases a good choice This was a replacement for a previous Speck case where the back ripped off after reading books on my iPad during the shutdown. It had exceeded its warrantee so I had to buy a new one. New one is made of one type of material on the back but best of all it has a lifetime warrantee . It is a heavier case which is unfortunate for a senior citizen of small proportions and not clear but I had to make concessions. The Apple Pencil fits snuggly in it's place and the latch closed firmly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works… Not crazy about it I don't understand where it went wrong, the back doesn't fit my 11' iPad Pro. I'm not really sure if it was me ordering the wrong model or Speck sending me the wrong size. The material is good quality, a bit heavy, the color is great, the fit is not the best, maybe because of the size mistake. Buy a screen protector because a lot of dust sticks to the inside fabric and leaves a mark on the screen. I love that it has the space for placing the pencil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this case again. I love the fit of the case, but I'm disappointed in the hard plastic edges, which are more borderline sharp. The case is somewhat cumbersome, but does allow the device to be used in a raised angle for viewing or typing on keyboard.

After she dropped her new iPad Pro the day it arrived, I bought my wife a Folio case for her replacement 11" iPad Pro and she loves it. Feeling that the Apple Smart case just didn't provide enough protection, I purchased a Pro Folio case for mine. This case is super protective. Yes, It adds a significant amount of weight (it's heavier than the Speck Folio case) but it's not unwieldy. I love the multiple screen angles and great protection for my Apple Pencil 2 as well. This is a great case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Meh—not great, but not bad I've purchased Speck cases for my iPads for many years. They are durable and I've generally enjoyed them and recommended them. This one is the same general style I have purchased in the past, but the Apple Pencil holding area on the case adds a lot of size to the case and makes it awkward to hold and use. It's still a well made case and I will continue to recommend Speck cases, but this is unlikely to be a case you really want for an iPad Pro 11 (2018) model.

I love the holding cavity inside the cover. I had to take my iPad out of the case to charge my iPencil. That is NOT very convenient.

That case was fantastic and worth every penny, and then some. It served me well for almost 5 years. Five years!! When I purchased the iPad Pro this past June (less than 6 months ago), I immediately purchased this new case for it. I saw a few reviews warning about a poorly-made clasp, but I figured I was very careful and the clasp could not be that poorly made. I WAS WRONG. This clasp is not good at all. Today, the iPad dropped less than 12 inches, hitting flat. The iPad was protected, but that pitiful clasp snapped off completely. It did not even hit on the edge of the case, not directly on the clasp. Six months and this case no longer has a clasp. FIX THE CLASP.

It was considered military grade and had a magnetic back that allowed me to place my iPad on metal doors and filing cabinets. I still have it on my old iPad. When I bought a new iPad I had to buy a Speck for it too. I bought what you said was your best product. What a disappointment. One corner has broken off and the other corner is cracked and about ready to go. I wrote to your customer service team but it has been a while and no reply. Your customer service is even a disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again and again I am extremely picky with every case I buy, but this is the only one I fell in love with. I bought a Zugu case because of the folio style and pencil charging capability, but it had zero protection for the iPad itself and the pencil. This speck case offers protection for the iPad and completely encloses the pencil so there is no chance that it will fall out and break. The holes are aligned perfectly and it is made very well. If you like folio cases, you will love this one. I wouldn't recommend any other case, not even the Otterbox symmetry case. It's the best case out there.

The case is sturdy, light, and designed so I can easily hold it in one hand. When placed on a surface, the case can be easily maneuvered so the iPad screen can be seen from every possible viewing angle; the case can also be maneuvered so the user has a comfortabae viewing angle for typing. There's an excellent location for storing and charging the Apple Pencil, and an easy to snap case closure that awakens the iPad upon opening and puts it to sleep when the case is closed. I love this case, all positives and no negatives. Finally, this case has been tested for 8 ft. drops without any damage to the iPad. Hope this helps build your confidence in Speck. Byrne

Speck presidio pro folio is my favourite. Looks great, not too bulky, easy to install and provides full protection for the iPad and the Apple Pencil. I use the 2nd gen Apple Pencil.

Pen holder (that charges the pen!) is slick and convenient, the whole case is robust yet sleek. Fabric latch is a nice touch, looks like it'll last longer than a plastic one. Also has nice gradient steps to set the angle of the iPad for viewing, another thoughtful design element Matt touch exterior is nicer than hard plastic. Really like it, I plan on ordering another for my son.

What happened to that style? If you created that case again then i would gladly give 5 stars.

The Speck Pro Folio 11-inch iPad Pro Case serves as a super strong protective case,as well as an easel to prop up iPad when in use so you do not have to hold it . There is a slot for Pencil conveniently placed for quick use. Case folds up easily when not in use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best iPad case ever! A sturdy, durable case that I know will last me a long time. The texture on the outside is rough but will protect my iPad from any damage. This case is perfect and the only thing that would have made it better would have been if it was a matte texture but nonetheless, definitely worth it. It does also makes the iPad slightly bulkier but not enough to be inconvenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far it works OK. Flash drives don't fit properly. Nice case, it provides a nice spot to place an Apple Pencil although I have not done that yet. I would prefer a more flexible material and a more secure cover that puts the iPad into sleep mode. I hear the iPal lock/click when I close the cover but the iPad clicks at least one more time as I set the unit down, it is not unusual to hear that lock/click 3~4 rimes before I set it down. The hole for the USB-C charging port is not large enough to fully insert a flash drive. I have to partially remove the cover to gain clearance and push the thumb drive in all the way. If the port is only for charging the case works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clasp is not the best I purchased several other covers while waiting for Speck to come out with a cover for the 11 inch iPad Pro that was Apple pencil compatible. I love the cover but the clasp (the main reason I wanted another Speck) does not work well. It's flimsy and doesn't stay latched. I even sent the first one back but the second was just as bad. I have purchased 2 Speck covers for my ipad mini over the years and they are great. Over all this cover is good but I'm disappointed in the clasp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good case, however still not perfect I bought this case along with another one for both of my iPad pros I have at home. I've waited anxiously since the iPad was released until Speck remodeled its initial case in order to allow pen charging without any problems. In the meanwhile I've used a Moko case which offered both protection and a place to put and charge my pen. Here is what I like and dislike on this case: Pros: * Sleek design * Great protection * Great warranty service in general with few exceptions as they've changed their policies with customers living outside of the U.S. and purchsed it during a visit to the U.S. Cons: * Does not offer more viewing angles. I like using my iPad while in bed, and there are not enough viewing angles allowing you to use it without lifting it up all of the time in order to suit the viewing angle I want. This comparing to the previous Moko case I've used. * Extracting the pen is quite of a hassle as the user needs to apply a little bit of force in order to take it out. Maybe its because of Speck's too snug fit design which was also known in their previous cases for older generation iPad pros (in which I also used)

My problem with Speck is that the throw the product in a box that is much too large with zero packing. Same person shipped the last one apparently, same issue. Contacted them about it with no response either time. So on to the review. product ok, would not buy unless it on sale. Shipping and customer service is sub standard. Don't expect a response.

After my iPad got wrecked by falling on a hard surface with a case that didn't protect the edges, I decided that I wanted to get a case for my replacement iPad that provided complete protection. Since I don't usually need a keyboard, there were very few choices available. I then found and ordered the Speck Presidio Pro case and it's been great! This case provides great protection on all edges and the back and the case closes securely to protect the screen when the iPad is not in use. There's a latch that can be used when the case is closed (keeping it closed) and can also be used when the case is open to keep it out of the way. All in all, a great purchase for a very fair price.
